Situated at a 3-minute drive from Guincho Beach and the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, the Guincho Wayra House is primely located in the area. The hostel provides free WiFi access as well as free onsite parking. The rooms are divided into 6-bed dorms and double rooms. Both types feature a shared bathroom. The rooms boast a view of the mountain and sea, whilst also including cable flat-screen TV and a DVD player. The common living room is equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, DVD player and free WiFi access. The spacious terrace offers panoramic views of the ocean and of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. The kitchen is connected to the living room and is fully equipped for guests to prepare their meals. All breakfast items are available in the refrigerator. The Cascais city centre is a 5-minute drive, offering many restaurant (specialising in fish and sea-food dishes) and nightlife options. It is a 3-minute drive to Guincho Beach, famed for its gusty winds and waves which favour the practice of windsurfing, bodyboarding and surfing. A golf course is a 5-minute drive from the hostel. Kite surf, surf,stand-up paddle boarding, rock climbing and yoga classes are available and arranged by the property. It was my first time travelling abroad on my own and It was the most amazing time everyone I met was so lovely. The wayra house is very welcoming and made me feel at home. And don’t get me started on the location it is just gorgeous stuff

The stay at Guincho Wayra house was one of my best experiences so far! I have booked the yoga- surfing package for 5 days and was very happy with everything! Cleanness and Hospitality top!!! I can only recommended it! Thank you Laura!

My stay at the Wayra house was amazing! The house has a nice chill atmosphere, the yoga classes in the morning are great and the surf lessons are good too! Made friends for life. I recommend the Wayra house to everyone.

I haven’t expected my stay in Guincho Wayra House to be that spectacular. Nice welcome, met the coolest people there, had good surf lessons, made nice trips nearby. I would definitely come back and can recommend it.

The owner of the house is a unique person, someone who's very welcoming and hospitable, yet if you want to have your own space, there is enough room for everyone. You can meet new people from all over the world. If you're lucky like me, you will be able to make new friends. The house has the necessary facilities for this. Have fun, enjoy your holiday in Portugal and good things will happen to you.

There is a beautiful house on the middle of a valley with a path that leads down to the Guincho beach, where people surf and kite. It can acommodate some people but not so much that it feels crowded. The vibe of the house is of peacefulness; guests want to be friendly, tell each other how was their day of surfing or where did they travel to in previous times. Rest your mind and prepare your body for morning yoga; Laura has worked hard so that you have a place, even if only for a few days, where you can let go of everything that sets you off balance.

I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Guincho Wayra House! It truly is a house where you feel at home almost instantly. Laura and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Also got to know a bunch of great fellow travelers there. Adding to that the great location and scenery/landscape it made for a very pleasant and relaxing vacation.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The house is inviting and homey, you feel at home instantly here. Made great friends in my fellow travelers and Laura, the owner of the house. The surf and yoga lessons were perfect for all levels.

Unfortunately I just spent one week at laura's hostel, but I will definitely come back as soon as possible. The atmosphere is wonderful and laura is very caring about her guests, a part from being a real power woman. Also augustina and juan are super friendly, so that my whole experience was unforgettable.
