Hotel Le Fontanelle is both an exclusive complex and an estate with exceptional facilities. The greater complex (I.e., Hotel Le Fontanelle and the Club House) has several restaurants, all of which are accessible via an efficient shuttle service. The food itself is exquisite, and the gluten-free fare is well above the standard of other hotels. The staff is attentive and always ready to help. Also very interesting for wine lovers, as the hotel is located in the heart of the Chianti region, with its own wine production. A guided tour of the winery itself can be booked, and is interesting for wine amateurs and experts alike. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

We stayed at the hotel in 2023 and returned in 2024 as we were attending a wedding in the area. In short, we love this hotel. So relaxing, clean, amazing food, phenomenal staff, beautiful views. This hotel is highly recommended and if I could give it a higher score I would.

What a great place to stay. The staff were so friendly. The food was fantastic. The views of the vineyards are spectacular. Go for a bike ride, the views are great. The Clubhouse is beautiful. Lots of great restaurants ND scenic places within a 15 minute drive.

What a dream estate this place is. We came for our honeymoon and rented a car for this portion of the trip. The estate was approximately 15mins away from Sienna. Great location and close to other little towns. You can spend your entire time on the property. It is unreal. Definitely coming back again!

From down what appears to be the off beaten track, wondering if the sat nav has fooled you again, however in the hills of Tuscany, you arrive upon a set of gates with a discreet intercom. Opening up, you then continue down the weaving drive lined with olive trees and those famous pointy trees until the hotel comes into view. Pulling up on the drive, you’re instantly welcomed by your host and helpers to unload and park your car in their underground garage. And there the experience continues! I’m going to leave it there, as I wouldn’t want to spoil your own adventure, just to say… this is absolutely the place to properly experience all that Tuscany offers in style.

We stayed here as part of a Backroads bike tour and what a pleasure it was! The hotel is located on a hill with amazing vineyard views from almost everywhere. The welcoming staff and the warm cozy feel of the hotel made this a perfect quiet sanctuary after a hard day of riding. The amenities are first rate - exercise facility, spa, 2 pools and resturant. Check out the winery nearby too. Pictures don’t capture the view.

You can’t ask for a better hotel experience in Tuscany (or anywhere else). We stayed for 2 nights with my wife and kids and loved every minute of it. The service was impeccable, from driving to dinner and wine tour, to accommodating food allergies at every meal, etc. Our room was really nice, very quiet, and extremely comfortable. If you stay here you have to eat at the Osteria, we went both nights and were blown away but the views, service and food. 10/10!

This hotel is wonderful. From fantastic views to wonderful bedrooms - a true heaven. If you are looking for a remote hotel with pretty much everything this is the place for you. The view is spectacular from the breakfast view to the hotel staff. The service was absolutely first class. Each member of staff was exceptional - so helpful and knowledgeable and always with a genuine smile. My small changes - the breakfast was very good but we stayed for a week so the same thing got boring. I wouldn’t expect to pay extra for eggs and pancakes, for me I would expect that in the price. The general prices are expensive. The place is very remote so you do need a car to go anywhere. The pool could be a little warmer but the pool is kept exceptionally well and is clean and beautifully located. The bedrooms are perhaps a little small but well equipped, cleaned well and very comfortable beds. The food at the Tuscan restaurant was very good but very pricey. Great views again. All in all we had a fabulous time and it was a super place. Do take bug spray. There are lots of mosquitoes.
