I am thrilled to stay at this latest luxury hotel in the heart of Jakarta. Keraton at the Plaza, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is officially open to the public on 27 December 2024. It’s the return of Keraton at the Plaza in Jakarta after almost 5 years closed. This property marks the debut of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Southeast Asia. It also marks Hyatt’s 4th property in Jakarta after Grand Hyatt, Alila SCBD, and Park Hyatt. Keraton at The Plaza is an all-club hotel. The Hotel provides luxury all-club service, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and evening canapés for staying guests. Nestled in a distinguished address in Jakarta. Standing tall at the Plaza in the central business and commercial district of a thriving shopping and cuisine area. The hotel is within walking distance of several cultural attractions, museums, government offices, corporate headquarters, exquisite dining venues, and vibrant nightlife. It is attached to the city’s most luxurious shopping and entertainment complex, Plaza Indonesia. Indulge a modern reinterpretation of Javanese elegance heritage at Keraton at the Plaza. This property has collaborated with Hadiprana Design, the renowned leading curator and creator of culture. It’s becoming a sanctuary of timeless beauty and grace. The following are my thoughts regarding this hotel 1. The Lobby The lobby reception is on the ground floor. It has a majestic vibe with a grand chandelier with some art statues. The lobby is spacious but not too big. It consists of several areas, such as the reception area, the lounge, and the house of Hadiprana. On the right side, you will see the reception area, while on the left side, you will see the lounge, which serves some delectable pastries, coffees, and artisan teas. Beside the reception area, there is the House of Hadiprana. It showcases Hadiprana design, artwork, jewelry, batik, and Hadiprana signature and gallery. 2. The Room The total number of rooms in this Hotel is 138 rooms, a collection of exquisitely crafted rooms and suites for distinguished guests. There are only six suites room types, which consist of 4 Keraton Suite King and 2 Keraton Apartment King. In addition, there is no Presidential Suite room type at this Hotel. I stayed in 1 King Bed, Corner, Deluxe room type (75 sqm). It features a dedicated living area, a work desk, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, and a room in the corner with an expansive view. My appointed room is on level 21, with the city view facing Thamrin Street, Grand Hyatt pool, and Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall. My initial booking was 1 King Bed (64 sqm), and I got room upgrades to the next level category. I got complete welcome amenities set up in my room. The highlights were the traditional Indonesian snacks, a curated batik gift from Hadiprana in the form of a scarf, and a room ceiling height of 3.85 meters. 3. The Club The highlight of staying at this Hotel is The Club, which serves breakfast, l
