"We had a brief and near perfect stay at the NanNing Hotel. We were able to maximise our short stay as the hotel sits within walking distance from ChaoYang and Parkson shopping malls, food courts, snack street and convenient stores. It is also within 2 minute walk from Line 1 ChaoYang Square station which goes direct to NanNing East Station. The front desk staff were very friendly, offered to help us with ordering local taxi DiDi on Alipay App on two occasions as we were not familiar with the App. Our room were spacious, immaculately clean, with crisp bed linen and comfortable beds. The amenities were excellent, especially the versatile bathroom with a featured a rainfall shower head, normal shower head and tap. One thing I like particularly is the AirCon control is next to the bed with all the light controls, so I can easily adjust the temperature without having to get out of bed. However, the room had a lingering cigarette smell, which was disappointing for a non-smoking room. Since we were only there for 1 night, we didn't ask to change rooms. So aside from the odor, it was a convenient, clean hotel with helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again if we were ever in NanNing again as we didn't have enough time to try out their onsite restaurants which had good reviews."

"Shangri-La Nanning, the best hotel in Nanning, we arrived in Nanning during a rainstorm, while we couldn’t go sight seeing the hotel staff pampered us with their hospitality and kindness from the moment Lexi checked us in, the entire crew serving the lounge were extremely sweet people, and the lounge was stocked with plenty of food and drinks. Our room was spacious, equipped with comfortable bed and bedding, chairs and a couch, there’s fresh flowers, fruit, fruit juice, plenty of movies to choose from in the room. The hotel is connected to a giant shopping mall as well. So our conclusions with our time in Nanning was we booked the right hotel, Shangri-La Nanning made our trip."

"This is one of my go to hotel in Nanning. Walking distance to 2 shopping malls. The receptionist and other staff there were very friendly and helpful. Room is very spacious and clean. Enjoyed my every stay at there. However, one of the downside is they don’t allow car to drop off infront of hotel anymore. Need to walk off a distance to hotel lobby."

"Great hotel, Mariott reputation is worth paying for. Got the executive lounge access - afternoon tea is kind of sad but the evening dinner/ cocktail buffet makes up for it. The bathtub is of an excellent size and length, perfect for soaking in comfort - plus it fills up incredibly fast in just a matter of minutes. The gym is also excellently equipped plus it is open 24h. Indoor pool is decent and has sufficient length for swimming proper laps. Would recommend to stay again, just that it is pricier due to the Labour Day holiday premium."

"This is the hotel me n my family like the most during our trip. The hotel is spacious and clean, yet they hav the self service laundry room for us the wash our clothes. Location wise is near to Nanning station but most of the time we didi , so not an issue for us. I think this is a good hotel , reasonable price yet spacious."

"Our 2nd visit, though I imagine our last. Location is quite good and check in and out were easy and painless. However some things felt noticeably not as good as before. The breakfast lack the choices we experienced in 2024. The pastries and cereals were stale, I also got up to make myself a tea and when I returned, not only had my breakfast been cleared away but another family had been placed there.  The lifts seemed to not be acting at capacity which worsened the experience down substantially (when you have to go the 80th floor before anything else)  The room however was lovely, comfy and spacious with a gorgeous view on the City."

Overall, a comfortable and practical choice for short stays or transit travelers looking for convenience near the station."
