"晚上六點多到達美麗的山丹軍馬場，選擇了驃騎大將軍營地住宿，這裏位置絕佳，是整個馬場的中心，第二天早上看萬馬奔騰喝水時體會更深。人美心善的老闆娘看我帶着長者孩子，給我升級到有獨立衞浴的房間。並且親自帶路，給我們送到房間門口，温馨提示晚上冷要開電暖氣，出入要關門以免蠅子飛進屋不咬人但煩人😂。
早餐和晚餐都在大廳用餐，早餐有粥、牛奶、雞蛋、饅頭、油條和鹹菜，不是很豐盛但是能吃飽。晚上最晚可以用餐到十點，有火鍋和炒菜。到馬場來玩不是追求用餐，所以不能苛求餐飲，我覺得餐食雖然簡單，但是總體還是很好的。
傍晚馬場裏幾乎沒有遊客，開車到草原深處，感覺整片馬場都屬於自己的，開闊大氣。
晚上吃過飯，站到大營外可以輕鬆看到滿天繁星和銀河的絕美星空，不知為什麼同一位置，銀河能拍出兩種不同效果。
最絕的是清晨，一出門就看到幾匹馬在營地裏悠閑的吃草，馬糞都是新鮮的😎。早上六點多，先開車去往鸞鳥湖方向，可以看到日出的金光撒在遠山上。再往深處開，無意間看到成羣的氂牛奔赴一處民房，山上揚起一條線的沙塵，景象很壯觀，估計氂牛也是去喝水或者“吃早餐”的。
7:30之前回到營地，大門對面就是萬馬奔騰飲水處，從早上7:30陸陸續續有四五波馬羣來喝水，一直持續到八點半左右。近距離領略馬羣奔跑，沉浸在煙塵中的感覺和影視劇中完全不一樣。八點多之後外面的遊客陸續被大巴車送到營地這邊，但是最幽靜美好的時段，住在景區外的遊客根本無法體驗到。來山丹軍馬場一定要在營地體驗一晚！"
