Be careful of being unknowingly charged with a ‘discussionary charge of tips’ (supposed to be A Conpulsory charge of tips, don’t be fool by the name, it is non-discussionary) AFTER CHECKING OUT of the hotel. I was being charged with a discussionary charge of the tips on the credit card automatically without being informed upfront after I checked out and left the hotel. When I checked out, i was informed at the counter that they were closing their account for previous day and they would help me check out my room and email me the invoice of my stay after they finished closing account. As a result, I innocently left the hotel since I thought a 5-star hotel would not have anything gone wrong. However, I was totally wrong until I saw extra charges on my credit card while not receiving any so called invoice from the hotel at all. I then reached out to Trip.com to request for the invoice that they have promised to send to me and it was then I was informed that the extra charges were from a discussionary charge of tips. I wasn’t happy about the way this was done hence I requested for a refund for this since it clearly stated this is a DISCUSSIONARY fee, not a compulsory fee. However, I was informed that this is a Non-refundable fee and my request was denied. Out of so many hotels I have stayed, it is unbelievable that in a 5-Star hotel, I was forced to pay something that wasn’t even being informed upfront. In addition, with the fee name suggested, it is a discussionary charge of tips NOT a compulsory charge of tips, the hotel has forced the customers to pay it as COMPULSORY CHARGE OF TIPS. In addition, the hotel services were very inefficient and lot of rooms for improve. We ordered for an in-room meal and we were told that it would take about half an hour to deliver. Hence we waited, and until an hour later, there was no update on our meal and we had to make a call again to check for the progress of our meal. It was then we knew there was a delay in the meal. By the time we done with our meal, we made the call again to request for someone to collect the plates, we literally waited for more than an hour and had to call twice before someone came to pick up the plates. This shouldn’t have been the service received in a 5-star hotel and the worst of all, the hotel should have more transparency in their charges and should have informed the customers on the charges upfront before the actual charging. When we signed for the amount paid for the meal, there were no statement on the discussionary charge of tips at all, and we didn’t expect there would be as we were not even informed. It is not that we are unwilling to give the tips and we did give the tips during the stay. However, it made us very uncomfortable that we weren’t informed anything upfront and it was charged to my credit card AFTER we CHECKED OUT of THE HOTEL. It made us feeling very unsafe to provide the credit card to the hotel as they can charge whatever charges they want after checking out the hotel. In addition, it is a discussionary charge, isn’t it should be discussed before I was being charged? If not it should be called a a compulsory charge of tips.

This is NOT a four star hotel and it’s misleading to call it such. Is this a bad hotel? No. It’s a great location and comfortable enough, but there is nothing “four star” about this property or its services, and whomever in the travel industry allowed this designation should choose a new career. Don’t bother with the Resident’s membership program, even if free, if you expect service to be a part of it. I emailed days before my arrival about our early arrival from the US, requesting an early check-in but more importantly two beds for myself and my daughter. Such a nice email I received in response, only for us to be left languishing in the (bare bones) lobby when our room still wasn’t ready half an hour past regular check in. Ostensibly to prepare the room we actually wanted, only to be stuck in a room with 2 feet of clearance around the bed. Yes, BED. Two twin mattresses pushed together because there wouldn't be any clearance otherwise is NOT TWO BEDS. A room in which we had to keep the blinds closed for the duration of the visit lest give a show to the workers in the office building directly outside our window. Honestly, they were so close we could have reached out for a biscuit. And they work late!!! Four star, you say? For what amenities? No amenities in the lobby other than a bowl of candy and some lemon water. Taking such pride in the kitchenette, with its refrigerator you can’t stick two takeout containers in, where the ”sensor” light clicks off after 15 seconds even if you are literally standing there pouring your tea. A glorious shower but no washcloths or bathrobes. No light ANYWHERE for a woman to do her makeup. Nowhere for us to even store our suitcases. I know London hotel rooms are minuscule but to describe this room as “thoughtfully and comfortably designed” is a joke, one I’m particularly feeling as I lie on this concave mattress, under a duvet that extends about one inch past the edge of the mattress. Can I understand why people really love this place? Sure. The service was nice but underwhelming. It was my daughter’s 9th birthday and they gave her a very thoughtful card and bar of chocolate, but had no local recommendations, were not helpful when I asked about plans we already had (“oh, about a five minute walk, bye”). Four star properties make you feel wanted, and the Resident could take you or leave you. I’m most disappointed in myself when I look at the list of other properties I considered. I took a chance on what I thought was a well-priced four-star property, and that's not what I got. I would have been happy to give this property a 3-4 star review had it been able to meet the basic standards of a four-star property, but here we are!

Sarapan pagi mesti 17 paun. Sarapan pagi biasa. Anda boleh mencuba sarapan Inggeris. Terdapat dua gerai untuk berkomunikasi dengan kaunter penerimaan tetamu semasa waktu makan (7:30 dan 10:00). Tidak banyak tempat untuk bersarapan di kawasan sekitarnya, dan anda harus berjalan kaki jauh. Tidak ada dewan dari pret terdekat. Makan memang memalukan. Sebenarnya sangat selamat untuk berjalan-jalan pada waktu malam. Ini adalah pilihan yang baik untuk melihat Istana Buckingham dan Big Ben. Bangun keesokan harinya dan buat temu janji terlebih dahulu untuk melihat Van Gogh Monet di Galeri Nasional. Hotel ini sangat dekat dengan tarikan di pusat bandar. Dianjurkan untuk berjalan di Chinatown dan Regent Street. Teksi semuanya sehala dan akan sangat perlahan.

艾迪遜一如既往的好,品質如此。倫敦的酒店太貴了,所以定了最便宜的房型。壞處是,窗戶外麪沒有景色。這家很有感覺,入口很漂亮,但是周圍晚上酒吧很多,如果徒步挺嚇人的。洗護用品依舊是le labo特別定製,早上樓下都是咖啡味,晚上回來有le labo the noir的味道,很舒服。房間備品齊全,廁所是全包圍淋雨,有備礦泉水。燈的開關也很精緻。

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

Some hiccups during checkin. We specified in our booking that we have 2 kids. We even stated their ages. When we arrived, they said booking is only made for 2 adults. I showed them everything I have to prove my booking. They said we used a 3rd party agent to book (ie trip.com). The agent made a mistake and we should talk to them. (What???? ) But they will do me a favour and do the talking… ?? (Doing me a favour like I did sth wromg??). In the end they upgrade us to a family suite, adding that it could be for 1 night only, they may require us to move and bla bla bla….. Yes you upgraded me but so what! Your staff’s attitude is the whole problem. I used a 3rd party agent, but it’s a company you approved of. When problems arise you blame it on customer?! I gave a 2/5 for service simply bcoz of the upgrade.

Great Hotel, thanks to Michelle who was amazing with us !! The breakfast was good, and the personnel was very nice with us. The hotel is next to a metro station and it’s great for visiting. The park Next to the hotel is pretty and it’s not to far from the center
