We were there for a vacation. The hotel needs some major upgrades. They assigned my husband & I twin beds. Through our travel company we had paid 4 luxury rooms for the entire trip. Room was run down, needed major face-lift. I insisted they give us a different room. It was a bit better. Breakfast is very basic. The sister hotel Agustos Urubamba was excellent.

We did what is likely a usual Peru trip - Lima, Sacred Valley, Cusco, Machu Picchu. The Palacio Nazarenas was our favorite hotel. Rooms were well appointed, very elegant (+ oxygenated). Best restaurant in the town as far as we could tell, and one of the best of the trip (other than the Lima world famous ones). Great location, quiet, great front desk.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel while visiting Cuzco. It is in a great location near the main square and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The tea/coffee bar in the lobby was nice to have and help with altitude sickness. The staff was kind and accommodating. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. Cuzco is a beautiful place to visit and you were one of the reasons makes our stay remarkable. Viva Casa Andina!

Three stars given for the positives: Excellent location , walking distance to everything. Comfortable bed. Excellent hot water and water pressure . Economical price. This is a 2 star hotel however , so just be prepared for a few hassles. It is very loud for sleeping , bring ear plugs. All the rooms surround an open courtyard so every door opening sounds like a gun shot . The included breakfast is hardly enough to feed a small child. (If you want an actual breakfast you have to pay extra.) the building is very cold and dark all the time , the lights are literally never on. And the front door is always locked at all times of the day so you have to ring a loud bell (which of course can be heard by all the rooms ) . The staff was overall friendly and helpful, some much more so than others. I asked for a glass of water , looking at pitchers of water in the kitchen area, and after arguing with me about having to buy a bottle the older manager lady poured me a small glass. And then that night I asked the night guy for a glass of water before bed and his manager made a point to tell the staff not to give me a glass of water. I understand water costs money but this seemed over the top and the very opposite of hospitality. That combined with the attitude they gave me left a very bad taste in my mouth for this hotel. Maybe spend a few bucks more and get a better experience elsewhere

I feel cheated, we had our laundry washed. Where in other and better hotels it costs 7-8 kg sol. We paid 302 soles for 4 kg of laundry. They didn't let us know, they didn't speak English well. They copied our passport 5 times, payment only in advance. A big disrespect to the guests. We tried 2 other hotels in Cusco that were more expensive and they didn't treat us like that.

Excellent experience and close to San Pedro Market and Historic District! Rooms were clean, dining was good, excellent service and beautiful courtyards! Check in was easy. The hotel held our luggage while we hiked the Inca Trail and retrieval was easy.

The hosts José & his son Johan are great! They are both very welcoming and helpful when it comes directions, information, leaving luggage before check-in and after check-out. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of warm blankets and a heater. José cooks a great omelette and will offer you fresh juices and a delicious fruit salad. Under 10 min walk to plaza d’Armas. We would definitely stay here again! Mario & Chantal from Canada

PPengguna TetamuThe best hotel experience for me in all of my travel. The saying you get what you paid for is so accurate. Yes, it’s pricey to stay here but boy is it worth it. This hotel is truly a paradise and oasis for your long day of traveling and hiking. First the hotel is beautiful and centrally located. There are so many activities and amenities that the guests can participate in the hotel. We did the hotel tour and interacted with the baby alpaca. Second, the room and the amenities provided in the room were so carefully throughout. The food during breakfast was great and there were varieties. But what truly make this hotel stand out for me is the staff. From the bellboy, to the front desks and the servers.. all the staff treated all the guests with care. We had an issue with our pickup at the train station (no fault of the hotel or us) but they were very apologetically about it and the staff wanted to make sure we were ok which we were. All in all., if you have the money to spend.. stay here. It was such an amazing two nights experience for my husband and I,

GGimenezPabloThis hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep.
The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel.

It is in a great central location, within walking distance to the various plazas with shopping and restaurants. My room was great - clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Alex was an INCREDIBLE host - he was so attentive and responsive and gave me some excellent recommendations for things to do and see and restaurants to eat at. I was able to store my luggage after check out on my last day since I had an evening flight and Alex helped hail a taxi for me to ensure a fair price and safe ride.

My stay at this hotel was very comfortable. First of all, Gerson at the checking counter was a very pleasant person and welcomed us warmly every time. In addition, after finishing the check in to the hotel, he delivered a welcome hot tea to the room. It was super nice welcoming greetings. This hotel is in a very quiet area. Although it was cute place, it felt very homely. The interior was stylish and very clean. The location is a bit far from the center of Cusco. But it was about a 10-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. Also, most tour companies picked us up at our hotel, so we didn't have to travel anywhere to meet tour bus. Also, when we were in trouble with the cancellation of the Macha Picchu tour due to a mistake by a tour company, both Guido, the hotel managers and Gerson kindly called the tour company and intervened to explain the cancellation. Unfortunately, we were unable to join the original tour but thanks to the hotel's support I was able to join another tour. I highly recommend this hotel for its homely atmosphere and friendly staffs.

PPengguna TetamuThe website pictures are misleading and look much nicer than it is - the room images are bright and look very hotel-like, but my room was a lot darker. It’s much more of a hostel. For 100 USD a night (without breakfast) it’s a lot, especially for a hostel. I had an early start for Machu Picchu (as I expect most guests do staying here) and yet there were some very loud banging and renovation works on my floor until 9pm and then I didn’t get to sleep until 1am due to other loud clearing up noises downstairs plus loud talking. I messaged reception at this time and they said they were asking them to quieten down. I’d booked to come back here a couple of days after my hike - if I hadn’t pre paid I would’ve definitely gone somewhere else. That said, the second time was better as I asked to stay somewhere quieter. On a more positive note, friendly reception and appreciated being able to store my luggage, helpful that the airport transfer could be arranged and great location.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel. All of the staff (Leslie, Laura, Marjorie and Mari) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. When we first arrived my wife was really struggling with the altitude and Leslie sprung into action (completely unprompted) bringing coca leaf tea, and some type of rose oil to her right away, saving the day. Leslie went above and beyond in assisting us ! The location of the hotel is hard to beat, right in the heart of the historic San Blas neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the hotel, made to order by Mari and it was delicious!! We would highly recommend anyone staying in Cusco, to stay at the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel !
