Modern city hotel. My room was large and comfortable, stayed here three nights.. Nice bed. Had a kettle in the room and the Wi-Fi was fine. The same day laundry service worked well on two consecutive days. Strangely they did not provide soap for the sink although there were dispensing bottles in the shower. There was no hot water in the sink and the bathroom had no towel holders or hooks near the shower or sink. Otherwise the room was fine. I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that. Everything in the room worked fine and they cleaned the room very nicely

We stayed at Tangerine Ville hotel for 4 nights while on an organized birding holiday. The lobby was not welcoming - it was hot, humid and very buggy. It was also half filled with items that made me wonder if it was a shop or hotel lobby. What's going on there? Our room was on the 1st floor and had a king bed but the large window (with curtains closed) had only the view of another building mere feet away. The closet had black mildew stains on the walls and the hairdryer was burnt black and did not turn on. The bed was painfully hard and it was difficult to sleep well. The one high pint was the bathroom with a surprisingly nice shower. If not for that I would have rated the room lower. The room AC worked well but the WiFi did not. If you wanted WiFi you needed to go to the hot, humid, buggy lobby - it worked well there. The restaurant, like the lobby, was also hot, humid, and buggy. The food was OK but nothing special. The worst part of our dining experience there was one evening when an entire bus load of teenagers arrived and took part in an extremely loud karaoke evening (complete with microphone and loudspeakers). We were put in an adjoining room off the main dining room but no matter, it was still so loud it was impossible to hear what the person next to you said. Surely, there must be better places to stay in the area.

I have been to visit hill tribe areas around Chiang Mai, but I found the Phumanee Hotel and Lahu village tour to be much superior. I recommend to contact the hotel to set up a tour package; it is worth the extra expense. The hotel owner gave us a talk about her Lahu family history and the village we were about to visit. We were driven up a winding route past orange orchards to the village at the end of the road near the Myanmar border. It got less developed and more wild as we travelled further. In the village, helped prepare a meal at a village home, picked, dried and rolled out tea leaves, watched a basket weaving demonstration at another house. It was a lovely relaxed village up in the mountains. On the way back was a stop at a refreshing waterfall. If arranged, the hotel has two lovely set dinners; they were wonderful. They also setup a Thai cooking experience for us at the hotel. Our room at the hotel accommodated our family of four, so I was happy not to be split up. The hotel doesn't look impressive on the outside, but it more than makes up with the hostess, village tour, food, and hospitality.

Room B2 - 2 x Nights booked via Booking,Com It is VERY NOISY from Road Noise - 24 Hours a day. Room are basic with no amenities. Service was friendly but room service patchy ( they forgot to provide new Towels and Toilet Paper ) Shower Water Pressure comes and goes as does the Hot Water. Internet was constantly Buffering. Had to take out a Data package with my Thai Mobile provider. We would NOT STAY here AGAIN. Disappointed. But like I say - look at what you pay. Not too many hotels to chose from in this area!!!

Nous avons séjourné au Dawa lors d'un road trip dans le Nord de la Thaialnde. L'hôtel est situé en périphérie de la ville, au calme avec un grand parking et facile d'accès. Mes chambres sont propres, bien équipées et le rapport qualité prix est imbattable ! A conseiller.
