Hotel berhampiran Tierbrunnen, Cologne

Das Hotel liegt in Köln recht zentral. Auch die Möglichkeit direkt im Hotel zu frühstücken hat wohl den Ausschlag für die Buchung gegeben. Jedoch schon bei der Ankunft zeigte sich das an der Rezeption vor und nach mir es wohl Lautstärkedifferenzen zwischen den Buchungen der anreisenden Gäste und den Verständnis, der nur bedingt deutsch sprechenden Dame an der Rezeption gab. Mein mitreißender Kollege hat er eindeutig Frühstück mit bestellt. Musste dies aber am nächsten Morgen lautstark einfordern. Ich selbst, bin sehr viel in Hotels unterwegs hab es aber extrem selten erlebt, dass das Personal gegenseitig immer wieder lautstark vorgestern um Abläufe, welche eingeübt sein sollten, stritten. Mein Zimmer selbst war abgewohnt und hatte wohl den Flair der 1980 Jahre. Stromkabel einfach an die Wand geklebt, mit der Hoffnung, dass diese sich nicht wieder lösen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Was den Grund, dass Mitarbeiter und Gäste sich ständig negativ anschreien.

I stayed for 2 nights on a trip through Europe. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cologne Cathedral. What I liked: The great location. The friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Great Breakfast with lots on offer. Easily accessible. The bed was comfortable. What I didn’t like: The room I was given was tiny with no window. It was so so hot and sadly that affected my sleep. The room had air conditioning but it didn’t work and just circulated hot air. However, the kind man on reception offered me another room, but I was already settled and for such a short stay didn’t want to pack everything up again. Regardless of that, I’d be happy to stay here again and the price I paid was incredibly reasonable, being so close to the centre of the city.

Wegens de hevige overstromingen van juli 2021, in Duitsland, Nederland en België waren wij niet in staat om af te reizen naar Keulen. De hostel weigerde echter enige vorm van compensatie! Zelfs na contact met de accommodatie de dag zelf en bemiddeling via booking.com weigerden ze elke vorm van tegemoetkoming (gedeeltelijke terugbetaling, omboeken, voucher,..). We hebben het volledige bedrag moeten betalen ondanks overmacht. Helemaal niet klantvriendelijk! Wij boeken hier nooit meer!!

The location is good, near cologne main train station and close to the river. it's very convenient. Rooms are big enough, but gyms kind of small. Hotel has is very big and like a shopping mall. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast also good.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. I would definitely be staying in this hotel again when I visit Cologne. In German (Deutsch) Das Hotel Mondial in Köln ist mein Favorit und ist mit Sicherheit das Hotel von der Accor Hotel Gruppe. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. Close to Dom / Railway station / Beer museum / shopping streets / view to Rin , clean room, and a very good restaurant with an excellent coffee. Absolutely nothing to complain for a 3 start hotel; except maybe a problem of the city in that area, lately there are too many mice all over. Must go in restaurant even if you have another hotel . Date of stay: October 2023 but I was in 2014 / 2018 Room tip: second floor can be an advantage (noise related); A problem I still have...I did not receive the invoice (via e-mail) even I write them few times , I try to call but no answer.....and I really need it

Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

Die Lage ist gut, zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten zum Dom, in einer einigermaßen ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet aber klein. Hier sind wohl einige Häuser zusammengefügt worden, es wird deswegen wohl Unterschiede in der Größe der Zimmer geben. Schöne und große Auswahl zum Frühstück, welches auf der Website für einen unschlagbaren Preis inkludiert war. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr vorhanden, zu breit sollte das Auto dafür nicht sein. Check In und Out hat wunderbar funktioniert.

5-Sterne-Hotel im Herzen Kölns. Sehr freundliches Personal. Reinigungsservice etwas schleppend (am Tag vor Check-out wurde unser Zimmer gar nicht mehr gereinigt, neue Handtücher gab es erst auf Nachfrage). Insgesamt aber empfehlenswert.
