Hotel berhampiran Chocolates la Cholita, Cuzco

We spent a night in Cusco after a 3-day Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu Tour. The location is excellent - just a few blocks from the main square with plenty of cool shops and restaurants on the narrow cobblestone streets right nearby. The hotel itself was also very cool architecture with amazing views from inside the hotel (which is actually an outdoor courtyard). Breakfast was tasty with eggs made to order. Staff was also very helpful with directions and luggage storage. Unfortunately the windows of the room do not seal out any noise - it’s as if the window is open directly to the street. And Cusco drivers love to honk their horns at all hours, so unfortunately our sleep was interrupted. If I stayed here again i would bring earplugs!

Si deseas una agradable estadía en Cusco ve al Hotel San Pedro Plaza. Tiene una excelente ubicación cerca a la plaza de Armas. Tiene amplios espacios, limpios, iluminados, acogedores, cómodos, seguros y muy tranquilos. Las habitaciones están muy bien dotadas con todo lo que necesitas para tu estadía, buenas almohadas, tohallas, armario, teléfono, mesita de noche, lámparas, silla, calefacción, caja fuerte, un amplio, limpio e iluminado baño. excelente servicio de recepción y restaurante. El personal es muy atento y servicial, recibes una atención cercana, oportuna y muy cordial. Los desayunos variados, ricos y muy completos. Es una muy buena opción costo- beneficio para una estadía en Cusco. Lo recomiendo. Yo volvería.

Tive a melhor experiência no Selina Saphi, não tenho palavras para descrever, as pessoas que conheci lá foram incríveis, super atenciosos e cuidadosos comigo. Agradeço ao Álvaro, Alex, Renato, Yamile, Patrícia, Arnaud, Adrian, Arturo e todos da recepção, fui muito bem tratada e acolhida por todos. Sobre os quartos e as áreas comuns, tudo muito limpo e organizado. Todos os dias possui alguma atividade para fazer que é super divertido e onde se conhece muita gente. Já recomendei o Selina para meus amigos aqui no Brasil e espero me hospedar outras vezes. Muito obrigada por tornar minha viagem ainda mais inesquecível ❤️

Illa B&B looks over the city of Cuzco and provided us with the most lovely place to stay in the city we could have hoped for. It is central with breath taking views, has the right price and extremely helpful staff. The small breakfast included on the terrace each morning just adds even more to this cute little hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful and were always willing to lend a hand with any request. We stayed here before and after doing a trek to Machu Picchu and just found it the perfect place to stay. We would recommend this little B&B to anyone going to Cuzco for a holiday you wont be disappointed. Many thanks from Scott and Jade guys :)

The property was fairly clean and staff were very attentive. It really helped that a lot of staff were fluent in English, especially the receptionist. The rooms were nice and well equipped with entertainment, endless coco tea bag’s and coco chocolate to assist with acclimating due to the high altitude. The hot water in the thermoflask was also a nice touch Negatives: was slight far from the main plaza and city centre if you want to go on a late night stroll. It was take you about 20-25 minutes to walk down (the hill) but walking back up I suggest you take an Uber, which is very cheap at only 10-12 soles The first room we stayed in, I don’t think it was throughly deep cleaned as there was bits and pieces of sand inside the bed sheets and floor (probably from other guests who did Huacachina the day prior). The beds were a bit hard/uncomfortable to sleep on - and I sleep on very firm beds coming from an Asian household 😩 The bathroom vents echoed and you will hear your neighbours very clearly. Most of the rooms open up into the inner lobby space meaning you will not receive natural light or views from outside - a bit trippy as you lose track of time/body clock. Overall it was a pleasant stay, staff made it better but property cleanliness could be improved

Cusco, Peru was the first leg of our first trip to South America and the Palacio del Inka hotel/spa made our first week so memorable. Months in advance prior to our arrival, Emerson and his fellow colleagues on the concierge team worked with us to select tours/excursions (through their travel agency partner Venturia) that were right in line with what we were looking for. Upon arrival, the hotel’s check-in process was both efficient and welcoming and everyone on the staff (including the GM) came out to greet us. The bar and restaurant staff learned and used our first names all week and that really made us feel at home. Plus, the food and cocktails were both top notch! The bartender also gave a terrific pisco sour making lesson while we were there. Make sure you ask about that activity! The hotel is beautiful and this property has one of the best Luxury Collection hotel spas that I’ve ever been to (a great variety of treatments and water therapy stations). The former mansion that this hotel now resides in also has a rich cultural history and a wonderful collection of artwork so please take their property tour while you are there…you’ll be glad you did. Overall, I want to say that every aspect of the Palacio del Inka experience was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it for your stay in Cusco.

The Samay Wasi was the best part of Cusco for us. We were scheduled to stay in other hostels as well, but dropped all of them in favor of staying at the Samay Wasi. We were there for seven nights. The view for one thing is unmatched in Cusco. The breakfasts are excellent. Price rooms are quiet and have nice showers with hot water. Bed mattresses are actually comfortable. Wifi is better than most hostels. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The best of the hosts is James. He spent a lot of time in the US and speaks perfect English and Spanish. If your lucky, he will be the one picking you up at the airport. He is the man to talk to when it comes to tours and local things to do. He will take care of everything as far as that is concerned. Very calm, patient, and attentive. He will keep you on schedule through What’s App. My brother and his wife will be traveling to Cusco later this year and they will also stay at the Samay Wasi and rely on James as we did. HIGHLY recommend.
