We booked a Premium Room directly on the hotel’s website (it’s cheaper than comparison websites) and stayed for 1 night. The rate of accommodation in this city is unbelievably expensive, and for close to €200 that we paid, we only got a room, with NO breakfast and NO parking. If we want to park at the private parking lot behind the hotel, we would have to pay another €15 per night, according to the hotel’s website. We were glad we did not, because we were able to find a parking space at the side of the road (plenty of them, depending on the time of the day) outside the hotel. Location of the hotel is outside the busy city, but easily accessible by Bus #28, which stops very regularly at a bus stand not far from the hotel. We will certainly recommend taking the bus and leaving your car, because parking is difficult to find in the city (and may cost you more!) The décor of the hotel’s common area is very elegant. The staff who checked us in were very efficient and knowledgeable about the events happening in the city during the busiest day of the year (we arrived on 15 August – the Virgin’s Day). Our Premium Room is spacious and clean, the décor is simple and modern. All amenities worked well. There’s a kettle, mini fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean, the hot shower functioned well, and basic toiletries were provided for. We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel, despite its location being outside the city. The bus is so very convenient to take.

This was a fantastic hotel 20 mins outside San Sebastián, There is a good bus service to connect you to the city centre but it is a great place to come back to and relax. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the spa is excellent and there is a well equipped gym. The location right beside the forest is so peaceful and there are a number of walks to take or you can just sit in one of the many seating areas and just look out at the greenery. The food is good and there are many choices. Very comfortable bedrooms. This hotel offers the perfect place to both explore the busy streets of San Sebastián as well as relax in a calm and tranquil atmosphere

En las afueras de San Sebastián, Donosti mejor dicho. El paisaje es soñado. Bosque, verde y buenas vistas. Muy buen acceso con transporte público que es de muy buena calidad y económico. El hotel en si es super completo. Diseño moderno con un aire minimalista, lo cual no quiere decir que no sea completo. El desayuno de los mejores. Sorprenden en todo el hotel los muebles de diseño moderno y muy cómodos. Tuvimos un inconveniente con el aire acondicionado de la habitación la segunda noche y no pudieron solucionarlo, que no sería lo más grave, sino que las respuestas no fueron buenas

The apartment was a little tired but functional and Donastia was a short bus ride. We were initially made very welcome on check in. We then had a problem with the car and a guy who worked there (didn't get his name) came with some tools and tried to repair it. When this wasn't possible I called RAC who eventually sent out someone who didn't speak English or French and Clara and another girl came out and translated. We had to be towed away and Clara gave her personal number to continue translating on the phone. I travel extensively and have never experienced such fantastic customer service, they all deserve a big pay rise

My recent stay at Green Nest Hostel left me with mixed feelings. The decision to choose this hostel was primarily driven by its competitive pricing compared to other options in the area, and the presence of free parking and Wi-Fi. On the positive side, the availability of free parking and Wi-Fi was a definite plus, especially after a long drive. However, there was a notable drawback that significantly impacted my stay - the mosquito situation. The room lacked air conditioning, and with a desire for fresh air, I opened the window. Unfortunately, this decision led to an invasion of mosquitoes that made it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. It's important for future guests to be aware of this issue, especially if staying during warmer months.

Personal muy amable, instalaciones correctas y funcionales, es caro para ser un hostal pero normal para los precios de la ciudad. Es lejos del centro pero eso no nos importa porque nos gusta caminar. Hay que andar 30 minutos al centro. Lo que si no perdonamos es que estuvimos 3 noches y las 3 encontramos cocina sucia. Las habitaciones no están bien ventiladas y los aromas eran insoportables. Huele bastante mal aunque no haya nadie dentro así es que quizá es la humedad o los colchones necesitan cambi****. Se pasa muchísimo calor cuando afuera la temperatura es muy fresca pero al no poder abrir ventanas de acumula y se vicia el aire. El ambiente es bueno, te ofrecen café y galletas y las duchas están bien, pero no volvería porque no se duerme bien.
