"Excellent hotel in a quiet location. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean room with coffee machine and kettle. Luxurious bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all the sights of Dresden. Walking distance to the train station is 15-20 along a safe route (I walked alone and at night with a noisy suitcase), but you can also take the tram. If I come to Dresden again - only to NH!"

"Great location, almost within sight of the train station with a mall and abundant dinning options nearby. To the other direction are the sites you came to see in Dresden, close. The room is very modern, comfortable, and equipped with essentials like coffee. Downstairs is a comfortable bar and breakfast area - loaded with dozens of people during my visit. The staff were friedly if busy. Great price on the room and breakfast - which was great."

"Hotel Review – Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa I recently stayed at Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa, and while the property benefits from a central location in the inner city, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel’s greatest advantage is indeed its proximity to the city center, allowing convenient access to major attractions and public transportation. However, aside from this, the stay was overshadowed by several shortcomings. Firstly, the amenities were very limited, and the guest room itself appeared dated and somewhat worn, reflecting the age of the hotel. This left an impression of tiredness rather than comfort. The most concerning issue, however, relates to the parking situation. The hotel advertises that it offers its own parking facilities, yet in reality, this is not the case. Guests are required to use a public parking facility nearby, which is misleading and highly inconvenient. This information should be corrected immediately, as it creates false expectations for visitors arriving by car. Additionally, the area in front of the hotel is consistently overcrowded with parked vehicles, often blocking arriving guests from accessing the entrance or unloading luggage during check-in. This further contributed to a frustrating arrival experience. In conclusion, while the central location is undeniably practical, the limited amenities, outdated rooms, misleading information about parking, and poorly managed entrance area significantly detract from the overall quality of the stay. I would strongly recommend the management address these issues to ensure a more accurate representation of the hotel and a better experience for future guests."

"The only positive thing about this hotel were the room, big and spacious, and the location, super central. Although the moquette is unhygienic. I always appreciate a luggage rack but one in a room for 2 people is ridiculous. We also got unlucky with the bathroom as the shower curtain was mounted wrong so taking a shower meant creating a lake in the bathroom. The hotel is not very well organised, we had to wait a lot to check-in and when it was finally our turn, even though the room was ready, we would have had to pay to check in earlier for mere 50 minutes. Embarrassing. We left the luggages and came back later and had to queue again with all the guests that had just arrived, for more than half an hour. We only needed the key cards, we already did all the paperwork. They preauthorised 50€ per night on our cards, in case we wanted to use the room service or the restaurant, which we explained we didn’t. And if you looked at the room service menu, you wouldn’t want to as well.. I would expect a famous chain like the Hilton to know that “Taglietelle Carbonara” doesn’t exist, it’s “Spaghetti carbonara” or “Rigatoni alla carbonara”. Furthermore “Spaghetti bolognese” doesn’t exist as well, it’s “tagliatelle bolognese”. There’s a pool but it’s unclear if it’s available to every guest. The staff is not keen on divulging information. It would be nice if more of the staff would be able to speak English (and maybe a third language) as a lot of the guests are tourists from other countries."

"Within walking distance of a great shopping street and about 25 minutes walk from the castle and lovely architecture. Staff were helpful and check in was smooth. Had to go down to reception to borrow a kettle and a mug as they don’t put them in rooms, apparently had many incidents of guests stealing the kettles? Aside from that, very convenient and sparkling clean. Heaters were very warm and beds were comfy."

"This apartment was in the best location - looking straight onto Frauenkirche in the old town. Amazing views and sounds (church bells and very skilled buskers) through your window. Photos on this review were taken out our window!!! Apartment was big and very clean. We had issues with getting the washing machine to work but the staff are very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again 🫶🏻"

"We spent 2 wonderful nights at LIMEHOME. Good value for money. There is no check-in desk, which requires you to follow the relevant check-in rules. Online registration and you will receive a check-in code on the spot. The location is strategic. Shops and supermarkets are plentiful. The room is well equipped, the kitchen is fully equipped and there was a basic set of products, which was very convenient. The bathroom is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable. We didn't have enough time for those grandiose museums that we had planned. So we'll come again. Absolutely recommend."

"Location for hotel was perfect. Very near to Dresden Central Station. Lots of shopping areas just below the hotel and nearby. The room is abit small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. From hotel to the main attraction are within walking distance."

"The hotel is in a good location, there is a bus at the door, bus 1, 2 bus stops to the main attractions. It is also very convenient to go to the train station. The service staff was warmly received and the rooms were clean and comfortable."

"The hotel is located next to the Frauenkirche in Dresden. There are many attractions around it. There is a square outside the living room and bedroom windows, and it is also close to the Brühl platform and the princely column map. We are a family of three, a couple with a nine-year-old child, the hotel fee is paid through Ctrip in advance, the child does not have an extra bed, and an extra 5 euros per night will be charged when checking in. It feels that European double beds are made of two single beds. The overall feeling of staying in was good, the second and third photos were taken hurriedly and unclearly. There is a dedicated living room, which is very convenient for watching TV and eating. The kitchen and toilet are not photographed. The kitchen does not have an oven and has an electric stove. The toilet is not small, there is a washing machine, but we haven't used it."
