Hotel 2 Bintang di Fontana

Stayed a night at Americas Best value Inn in Fontana California. Rooms were very nice very Nice. 10 times better than motel 6 for the same money. So my nephew and I were contemplating another night . So instead of using TripAdvisor I went to the front desk and made a reservation For that night. The employee at the front desk said she will call that afternoon to confirm. Did not receive a call by 3:30 afternoon. So I called. No answer . so I called the reservation hotline to confirm. The hotline had told me I had no reservation for that day it was for the next. I was instructed to call the front desk where I had made the reservation. So when I called I talk to the same employee . When I asked what happened? she said “oh I made a mistake “ and Book it for the wrong day. She corrected the mistake and told me my room was booked . I was instructed by the employee to pay when I got there after I told you go ahead and run my credit card you have my information. So when I got to the hotel at 7 PM and went to get my reserved room. They had tlno reservation she had failed to make it. Then the front desk got the employee on the phone. When I asked why the reservation wasn’t made she said “oh my gosh I made a mistake”... Second time she made a mistake. So patiently I waited to see what they had left and what they were going to do about it. I was told they had a Two bed nonsmoking room. Or one bed smoking room instead of the two beds that I had booked supposedly. I am a chain smoker this is the reason I booked the room ...I am traveling with my 37-year-old nephew and I am a older Guy. Sleeping in the same bed with my nephew was not appealing. For the inconvenience I was offed $10 dollars off. Pissed but excepted. It’s is Friday night. I told my nephew check on others hotels. No smoking room available in the area . Then I was told Sorry The last smoking room had just booked why I was angry and upset with the front desk. Then I was told for the inconvenience $10 would be taking off of a non-smoking room. My neighbors complained about my smoke when I went out my door .I locked myself out of my room twice why my nephew was sound asleep. My Routine to relax is watch TV and smoke. I Have not been able to relax and writing a review at 4 am in the morning. I’m driving to San Francisco today with no sleep !!!!! Could not relax at all do to the inconvenience of the employees. Like the rooms . Organization is questionable. Should have booked through trip advisor. I’m so pissed!!! Sincerely yours , Kenneth Hoagland

I came here and was greeted by a older woman & a nice gentleman . They were very kind . They accommodated me for the room I wanted and made sure it was super clean . They have nice amenities it was clean and im satisfied I give this motel 6 a 5 stars

very helpful missed the food my fault i got lost but clerk helped me find it and always said THATS WHAT IM FOR NICE

My son and I were on our way to Phoenix to drop him off for college, I had made reservations at this hotel because it was our halfway point. The grounds were beautiful and the check in process was extremely pleasant. We were there a little bit late in the evening so there was a lot of people at the counter. The service was really great and the room was very quiet and super clean. We opted out for the free breakfast that morning because we want to get on the road but it looked really good. Checkout process was also extremely pleasant. I did not experience any issues while I was there, the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would stay here again.
