Camping Begur

Beautiful campsite set in woodland. Very welcoming and helpful staff in reception. Facilities are spotless - cleaners work hard. Swimming pool area is grassed and well maintained. Had one meal and a couple of take-away pizzas from restaurant - all good and reasonably priced. Campsite is very ecologically aware with information about the flora and fauna available and cards placed strategically to gently nudge people to be ecologically aware - so much more effective than stringent rules. Great supermarket and fishmongers just outside the site entrance. We walked some of the trails nearby and also made good use of the local bus (bus stop at roundabout near campsite not the one immediately outside the campsite). The bus goes on a loop to local beaches. Costs 1 euro 50 cents or 3 euros for a dah ticket. Good service and helpful drivers - pay on the bus. Walk to Tamariu is lovely but tiring walking back (no bus but beautiful so worth it). The town of Begur is lovely - steep walk up but great views. We have a labrador dog so dog owners be aware that dogs are not allowed on the buses and nor are they allowed on any of the local beaches. We had a fabulous stay of 3 weeks at this campsite and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We go here every year and are never dissapointed. The toilets are cleaned on a regular basis and never smell. the two pools are always clean and extremely family friendly. There is a farm which has a goat in it and a playground as well. All the staff are so friendly. There are discos which are very noisy so if u have little ones i would pick spot further away from the restaurant. The restaurant provides amazing but simple food and the becahes are only a 10 mintue drive! Again this is such an amzing campsite.

Réveillé à 6h45 par le coq et les chiens qui aboient. Voisins très bruyants dès 7h le matin (famille avec enfants en bas âge qui se croient seuls...) Enfants qui crient, pleurent... Aire de jeux en face de la tente "de luxe". L'aménagement de la tente est confortable mais prévoir des boules Quies. Pas reposant du tout.

Nous avons loué un mobil home premium au camping begur via Homair. Le site internet faisait part d’un environnement protégé, proche de la nature…. En fait, tous les mobil home homair sont accolés au mur du supermarché voisin, ils sont tous les uns sur les autres. Un seul mot pour décrire l’environnement : ghetto ! C’est une honte !

De camping is erg basic. Zo zijn er geen bedjes bij de zwembaden. Toiletten zijn wel schoon. Jong personeel bij de receptie is vriendelijk maar ouderen zijn aan het begin van het seizoen al niet heel vriendelijk of behulpzaam. Zo werden we bij aankomst niet eens vriendelijk welkom geheten. Mobile home is ronduit slecht, met name de bedden. De bedden zakken door en de veren zijn duidelijk voelbaar. En je betaalt hier toch een hoge prijs voor. Vergelijkbaar met de nieuwe en mooie glampingtenten. Er zijn op de camping andere en betere stacaravans te huur via Homair. Ik zou de camping wel aanraden voor mensen die zelf een tent of caravan hebben want de plaatsen zijn ruim en de camping is groen. Wil je een mobile home, huur via Homair. Of huur een mooie glampingtent via de camping. Het restaurant is ook erg basic maar er is een grote supermarkt naast de camping.

Een mooie, gezellige camping. We waren er de eerste 2 weken van juli, ideaal als je van rust houdt. De camping is dan nog heel rustig en niet volgeboekt. We kozen ook voor de glamping tent, een fantastische ervaring. Een echte aanrader. Ook lekker om te blijven eten. Camping wordt heel goed onderhouden. Allemaal even vriendelijk.

Camping parfaitement tenu dans un cadre très agréable et avec des emplacements très vastes Deux superbes piscines, l'une avec un jacuzzi Excellent restaurant avec de très bonnes spécialités et un accueil très aimable Toutefois absolument aucune animation en soirée lors de mon séjour la première semaine de juillet, le trop plein de calme peut parfois se révéler pesant d'autant plus qu'il n'y a aucun lieu de loisir à proximité facilement accessible à pied...

En general la estancia ha sido bastante normal. Las habitaciones son muy simples y cutres. Pero lo mas alucinante de todo es que el ultimo día el check out era a las 11 de la mañana , y les pedimos para que nos guardaran las maletas, y que como teníamos a las dos el taxi nos quedaríamos dando una vuelta por el camping o tomando algo, pero nos dijeron que teníamos que pagar 18€ solo por estar dentro del recinto. Vergonzoso, este camping esta en medio de una carretera en la que no hay nada alado, y hemos tenido que estar horas alado de la carretera, sin poder hacer nada.

Nos encontramos con el camping a la salida de Begur y decidimos parar. El camping es muy tranquilo, las instalaciones son nuevas y las parcelas son espaciosas en medio de los arboles. También añadiría que el personal de recepción fue muy amable a la hora del check-in.
