I was whisked away to old world opulence as I walked into Le Plaza. The ornate chandelier, intricate carpet, and polished seating created a luxurious atmosphere. I was greeted by a friendly night front desk staff member named Ashley. He checked me in quickly and let me know that I could order something to eat if I was hungry. The elevator ride up to my room was a delight. The hallway was decorated in a vintage style, and my room, 534, felt like a miniature villa. The bathroom was gorgeous, and it had all the amenities I needed. It was a bit of a mix of vintage and modern, with a flat screen TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of natural light, and I woke up feeling luxurious every morning. The food at Le Plaza was delicious. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The service was also excellent. I never had to wait long for anything, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I injured myself during my stay, and Ashley and the other night staff member, Luis, were very helpful. They gave me first aid supplies and helped me get ice for my injury. I was very grateful for their help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Le Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions The hotel offers a variety of room types, so you can find the perfect one for your needs. The hotel has a variety of dining options, so you can find something to suit your taste. I hope this helps!

Location was good, room size is perfect for our small family. Love the services that the hotel provides, super fast and efficient, and fuss free. Hotel even provide lounge area, where hotel guests can go there for a small drink and some appetiser for free. I think every hotel should have such service provided, it is just super nice and welcoming back to the hotel. When we were there, it was raining and hotel staff was even offering us in house umbrella for us to use, and we returned it once we are back at the hotel. Room was a tab bit dark at some corners, but otherwise all is good. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Brussels.

Great service at the hotel from the reception to the cocktail bar to the breakfast staff. Rooms we’re comfortable with a comfy bed and all you require for a few nights away. Location was €10 taxi from Centraal Station or a 20min walk through a few lovely parks. Great park on doorstep of hotel with ducks and a large pond and 3-4 min walk from Tootbus stop. Variety of restaurants/places to drink outside of the hotel away from the busy central area.

This hotel was a perfect location to explore Brussels. It was also very luxurious and the staff took great care of us. It is very close to the metro which can allow to you get anywhere including the airport, train stations, and various sights. Many great restaurants are in walking distance. Most sights are also walkable as well, though walking downhill might inspire you to take a bus back, If you get a room in the back you have a nice view of the central courtyard of the hotel which provides a nice peaceful atmosphere to relax.

The room size was OK. I was in a Deluxe room on the 2nd floor with balcony and view to the inner courtyard. I had specifically asked for a quiet room on a higher floor (arrival was on a Friday, stayed until Sunday). During both nights there were festivities going on in the hotel (first a bachelor party and the next night the wedding). The noise (music, etc.) in the evening and during the night was unacceptable for such a high standard hotel. Even when the windows were closed, the noise was clearly audible. Around midnight I went to the reception to complain - both nights. I was told that this event would go on until at least 3 a.m. I was offered to move to another room - but I did not accept that, since I expected to be disturbed by the noise in most rooms. I was told that at my check-out a manager would be available to take in person my complaint - which, of course did not happen. On Saturday after lunch I wanted to have coffee/cake with a friend in the hotel restaurant/terrace. It took the waiter almost 20 minutes to come and take our order. When arriving at our table, he just told us that there is a QR code which we need to scan in to see the menu. We did not place an order and left - very disappointing experience! Another issue was that I was travelling alone and was put in a room with connecting doors, which I believe is not suitable for solo travellers, esp. for females. I informed the hotel about all the above and received only very poor replies. The noise situation has to be improved - if a hotel does not have suitable rooms for parties, then don't rent them out when you have paying guests who at least want to sleep at midnight.

A warm and very clean no-frills hotel close to the centre of Bruges. Great location close to many restaurants and a short walk from the main square. Friendly helpful staff. Basic room layout, plastic sinks etc. but clean and warm. Nice bar and breakfast option. Parking in adjacent underground public car park, with lift access to hotel courtyard. A good city centre option for a short stay.

Probably the worse experience check-in so far! We arrived early and asked politely to the staff what time is the check-in, this particular staff name Tobe M. was very rude and responded at 3pm. So we went around town and came back at 2:50pm to check-in, this staff was very unfriendly saying it was not 3:00pm yet, eventually he let us in. But overall the check-in experience was such a nightmare. Breakfast was good though.

Location: quite convenient and approximate 25mins drive from the airport. But it seems that it is not quite close to the aerobus route (fyi if you wish to come here by aerobus and that is the reason why we choose to take a Cabify with lots of baggages lol :) ) Service: quite warm-welcoming staff and they will show you around the hotel for the first check in, leading you from the desk to your room. Amenities: we were allocated with the room under the rooftop and this, the room is quite narrow and the height is lower than normal. Worse still, there is no street view.

This was a good location for our 2 nights in Brussels. Positives: - Located less than 10 mins from metro and near Brussels MIDI train station - Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. - Fan provided (although a/c would have been better) - Room and bathroom nice size and with sofa Negatives: - No bin in main room, only in bathroom - Construction at the moment from 7am weekdays - Breakfast expensive at €22 pp (we bought fruit, croissants, yogurts from Carrefour instead) - No kettle for tea but there was a machine for coffee in the room (no instructions but we worked it out) - Slow hair dryer - Sofa bed not the comfiest to sleep on I would stay here again for a short stay, would maybe look elsewhere for a longer trip.

I stayed in this hostel for 3 nights with my friends. The hostel is located right in the city center, which is probably the biggest advantage of this Hotel. Great location for seeing almost all the sights in Brussels. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. We had a room for 4 people with two bunk beds that could be covered, so you had a sense of privacy. We had a bathroom in the room. The bathroom was also clean and nice. Every time we returned in the evening, the room was tidy. The only minus I give wifi, which did not work for me during almost my entire stay. Overall, I can rate my stay at Safestay Brussels very positively. The biggest plus I give a relatively low price depending on the location of the hotel. The only downside for me is the poor internet connection.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Stayed 3 nights with breakfast included. Central location , walking distance to Brussels Central, large selection of restaurants & shopping district. Hotel spotless, breakfast very adequate, staff very friendly & welcoming from check in, to dining, to the cleaning staff. Credit to all the staff. If I was to pick a flaw, it would be to upgrade carpets in room, but it's a minor thing to complain about.

They have an indoor swimming pool. Eventhough small, but my kids just happy to swim in it. 7. Small but very updated gym equipment. Cons 1. Location slightly further up from the historical cobble stone street. 2. When we stay there, construction of an adjacent building causing dirty air circulation. 3. Breakfast was too plain and not many choices. Overall, I still gave 5 stars of experience.

Lokasinya sangat bagus! Betul-betul di Dataran Brussels! Bos juga sangat baik. we have booked this hotel but when we arrived for check in, we were told that our room was in their sister hotel nearby which is called “Hotel Alma Grand Place”. but the reason for the change was not advised. That hotel was spacious and cozy but we were given a room for the disabled. they provided shampoo, body wash and soap from Rituals which is a big plus. i guess the same is also provided in this hotel. btw the beds are super long.

One of the most cozy and interesting designed hotels I've stayed in. The nice kitch combo between Arabian Nights & French 18th century furniture and paintings is very interesting. Location is AMAYZING, fun to stay in the weekend, staf very nice. Not the most updated hotel, but it's what you'll expect in a hotel like that - I loved it! Highly recommended!

The overall stay was good with very warm welcome and tourist advice from the front desk staff (Martina) and the welcome drink corner. However, there are a few things that we wish the hotel could improve. First, the shower area is highly slippery. Thought the floor material for the shower area is not right for that purpose. Second, when we checked out, we asked the front desk staff (new ones that we haven’t met before) to help call a taxi for our family to the train station. The staff said the taxi should arrive in 20 min. After waiting for 20min, passing the time when the taxi should have arrived, we asked the staff to check the status of the taxi. Then the staff told us that the taxi would not come and there was no commitment from the taxi driver to take the order and advised us to call Uber by ourselves. We were astonished and disappointed as they should have told us earlier about the unreliability of calling a taxi. Centrally located hotel connectivity to bus&metro and a short walk from Brussels Central station. Very friendly front-desk team members, who were cheerful and very polite. The room was not the largest we've been to, however did the trick for one night. The bed was comfy and we slept like babies. The breakfast is complimentary - nothing fancy, however, it was enough to set us for a day discovering Brussels. All in all, good experience, we would consider staying here again. There were 3 things that I wish were a bit improved: 1. I would suggest changing the shower/shampoo provider and consider something of a bit better quality (or even put a dispenser). 2. There's only one elevator in the building - while not an issue per se, could get crowded when the hotel is full. 3. There was a bit of a smell from either canalisation or inner yard (the smell was fairly unpleasant, but the AC fixed it in a few minutes). It might be wise to check if the canalisation system is working as intended.

We have stayed at least 3 times in this hotel in the past. It is not a luxurious hotel but it is comfortable. The reception is polite and eager to help. The rooms are big and clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is also spacious. The towels are changed every day and the breakfast is EXCELLENT. Choose rooms with garden view, they are more quiet and the garden is very good. The street in front has some noise because of the bars nearby. Anyway the rooms and the furniture need refurbishment as well as the elevators.

Extremely disappointed on our 3rd anniversary We decided to spend our Easter Weekend in Belgium an so, to spend our first night to a 4star hotel. We found new hotel charlemagne, unfortunately rated too high for what they offered, or at least to us. When we arrived we were told there was no parking (although we specifically looked for that before booking and hence that’s why we chose that hotel). We have been given the keys for our room afterwards. From the corridor you could see the door was opened before we went in. Crums on the floor, and the cleaner turned up shouting that it “was clean” in french. Went to reception to request to be moved. We went to our second room. The first thing you could notice when entering the room was the smell of cigarette. Whoever stayed there before us, smoked. The aircon did not work so my partner s been freezing the whole time. We went again to the reception and we have been given the third room. Finally the third room was cleaner, but the aircon still didn’t work. They had a small heater from Rowenta to heat the room. In a 4 stars hotel!!!! Also, were we were, the balcony door would no lock so in terms of safety, that was not great. I want to thank to Simona for finding my coat as I have left it in one of rooms while switching rooms. She has been great in managing our situation and other guests at the same time. Just to add: how a 4 star hotel has only 1 receptionist checking in, running up and down, dealing with complaints etc. all at the same time? Or one cleaner whom is expected to clean all the rooms and not miss anything? The only thing that keeps this hotel open are the receptionist and cleaner. There was no management whatsoever. How is it safe to only have one person at the reception? For a 4 star hotel, the experience was awful, we will definitely not return and we won’t recomend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children. Unless you want them to freeze in the rooms. Luckily we chose, for our trip to spend each night in a different city, therefore we havent booked this one for more than one night.

Very practical for work in the EU district as it's within walking distance of almost everything (not so much for sightseeing), quiet and pleasant area. Frequented by travelers in EU Parliament business. Nice bed, very well appointed and spacious room, and efficient service. All you expect from a 4-star hotel and some nice extra touches (large jacuzzi bath in my room, at least), plus originality -not gaudiness- in the decoration. Due to shortness of stay and time of the year I missed some more extra touches. Also, surprisingly good value in an expensive city. Recommended.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et parfaitement bien aménagées. Le personnel est am très accueillant, souriant, à l'écoute... Bref un véritable bonheur !! Very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel - excellent location, it is a 3 minute walk to Grand Place with restaurants, bars, waffle and ice-cream shops etc. nearby. Customer service is another highlight - I left my wedding ring and a cardigan in the room and Nicolas went to the room to look for them for me right away when I called, and kept them safely until I went to pick up that afternoon. All good!

Great service at the hotel from the reception to the cocktail bar to the breakfast staff. Rooms we’re comfortable with a comfy bed and all you require for a few nights away. Location was €10 taxi from Centraal Station or a 20min walk through a few lovely parks. Great park on doorstep of hotel with ducks and a large pond and 3-4 min walk from Tootbus stop. Variety of restaurants/places to drink outside of the hotel away from the busy central area.

Op voorhand hadden we contact met eigenaar Paul omdat we een B&B zochten waar we ook onze fietsen kwijt konden . Direct super vriendelijk antwoord terug. Natuurlijk kon dat Voor een vriend was er geen kamer vrij maar zijn fiets mocht ook daar staan en hij was welkom voor een gezamenlijk ontbijt. En wat een prachtig gerestaureerde kamers Een aanrader! Booked the family apartment for myself, my husband and 3 year old son. We were amazed by the size of it and the bed is huge! We were provided with rituals shower gel and hand wash which smelt amazing. The check was not as smooth as the code was incorrect but with a quick call the lady on the phone helped us quickly. The apartment was nice and clean and in great condition, even has 2 TVs with English channels. The downside to this apartment is the fact there is no interior lock on the door. My son being only 3 has opened the door and ran down the corridor, which is really unsafe and could end up outside. I would just ask the owners to put an interior lock on the door so this doesn’t happen as it it worrying when we sleep, especially as our child has different needs to most 3 year olds. We were given some toilet rolls etc. We asked the cleaners if we could have some more and they said we had to go to reception (which is pretty far away as seen as this is a self check in apartment block). Maybe this is down to us but it would have been nice if we could get toilet roll/new towels. Overall the apartment was lovely and we would love to stay again, just some minor changes would help 😀
