Hotel 4 bintang Hallein yang Popular

The hotel was very nice and modern. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with great views from the enormous balcony. Food in both the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner was very good. But then we get to the things that pulled down the ratings hard; the staff. The person that sat behind the front desk was the least charming individual I’ve met in a long time. While sort of helpful, it often felt like we were bothering him with our questions. Same goes for the staff in the restaurant. Some of the staff didn’t even respond to our morning greetings. There were of course exceptions, with one of the servers being incredibly charming and friendly. Another boring thing was that the restaurant used table reservation for each room, so our room always got the same table for both breakfast and dinner for all of the three nights we stayed there. Very boring and while me might’ve wanted to sit out on the patio, that would not work since all the tables were pre-reserved each day. The breakfast buffet, while very nice in its selection and the quality of the food, was not replenished often enough by the staff. Same for the coffee. One pot per table and once my coffee loving wife had only hade two cups, we couldn’t find a single soul to give us a refill. In other hotels, like the excellent Scandic hotels where staff continuously cleared used plates, here no such thing happened. Overall, we weren’t super excited about the stay, despite many positive aspects. We will not return to this hotel.

Ich war mit meiner Reisegruppe im Mai 2022 in Abtenau! Wir haben dort im Hotel Post einige herrliche Tage verbracht! Ich kann mit Fug & Recht behaupten, dass es Beste war, was ich bisher in meinen fast 48 Jahren (als Reiseleiter unseres Vereins) kennengelernt habe! Einzelne Bereiche des Hotelservice hervorzuheben, würde dem Ganzen nicht gerecht werden, denn schon die Korrespondenz bei der Planung war sehr, Familiär abgelaufen! Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Herrn Windhofer und seinem Servicepersonal herzlich begrüßt und die Zimmerverteilung und der Koffertransfer lief reibungslos und schnelle ab! Am Abend kamen wir zum ersten Mal in den Genuss diverses Schmankerl ＞ Das erste Abendessen war eine Gaumenexplosion, die selbst Gourmetexperten überrascht hätte und ein wohlwollendes Lächeln auf die Lippen gezaubert hätte! Dies Erlebnis setzte sich die ganze Woche beim Frühstück beim Abendessen und Büfettabenden im gleichermaßen fort! Die Küche und der Service wäre in einem Gourmetführer mit mindestens 3 Sterne zu würdigen! Im Übrigen ist der Fleiß die Freundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals ganz stark hervorzuheben! Es blieben keinerlei Wünsche über die nicht zur Zufriedenheit der Reisegruppe mehr als erfüllt wurden! Auch die Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer und die Sauberkeit der Pool- /Wellnesseinrichtung sowie das gesamte Ambiente des Hotel Post hat seine 4 Sterne mehr als verdient! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall im kommenden Jahr (Privat mit Freunden) wieder!

The accommodation for 4 adults and 2 children was suitable. The second parking lot is approx. 600 m down the valley. As a result, a steep climb after parking is always necessary.

The holiday home is spacious enough, we stayed with 7 people. On arrival the cleanliness left a bit to be desired (empty bottles and cans in the house, cigarette butts on the terrace, candy wrappers and fluff on the carpet in the rooms). We used the swimm

Thuis een camping opgezocht voor onderweg. Rijden er vele voorbij, maar die camping zou toch wel heel goed zijn. Wat een aanfluiting ,voor de eerste dag op doorreis in Oostenrijk. Eigenaar zeer ,heel erg, onvriendelijk. Heel groot leeg parkeerterrein , maar mocht daar eigenlijk de auto met caravan niet zo neerzetten. Wat wilt u? Overnachten natuurlijk .Ik wilde pinnen. Pinnen? Oké en weg liep hij het ”hotel” in zonder iets te zeggen en moest maar weten dat ik hem na moest lopen. Na betalen van 42 euro!!! Laagseizoen! Vroeg ik of ik in het restaurant iets kon eten, nee dat gaat niet. Mijn vrouw vroeg of ze even naar het toilet mocht, drie meter verder, nee hier niet dat moet op de camping. Ik wachten op mijn vrouw en hij kwam er achter mij aan zonder iets te zeggen. Ik had de auto inmiddels de camping opgereden, maar moest verder van hem. Want ik blokkeerde, Daar kon nog wel een vrachtwagen langs. Ik vertelde waar ik wilde staan en hij fietste weg. Ik zet de caravan goed en op zn pootjes. En wat denk je, hij stond niet goed. Hij moest gedraaid worden. Uitzicht van de buren weg wij met de deuropening naar de buren toe. Toen ik vriendelijk vroeg waarom , omdat ik dat zo wil. Mijn argumenten wilde hij niet horen en bleef als n politie staan tot ik hem anders had staan. En ik sta hier voor dit soort mensen kreeg ik nog na. Doet me helaas n beetje denken aan mensen met uniformen..... Nu snap ik wel waarom dat parkeerterrein leeg is en het restaurant gesloten. IK campeer al ruim 55 jaar ,maar dit. Jammer dat ik al betaald had. De buren hoorde het aan . En bij hun was niet anders. Welkom in Oostenrijk.
