Location was excellent, its near by to many food joints and eating isn't a hassle. More over its just 60 sec walking distance from S/U Bahn. so commuting isnt a problem either. I personally prefer kitchenette in the room, but nevertheless for the price its a good option given that S/U Bahn are near.

Sehr netter Empfang und Saubere Zimmer. 80,-€ /Nacht inkl. Frühstück & Getränke. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig, wird immer wieder frisch aufgefüllt und man muss nicht wie in großen Hotels am Buffet Schlange stehen. Es ist sehr angenehm, ruhig, Familiär und jeder hat seine Privatsphäre. Die Bahnstation zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten Hamburgs ist nur 2-5 Minuten Fußweg vom Hotel entfernt und man ist innerhalb von höchstens 30 Minuten auf St. Pauli und den Landungsbrücken. Geschäfte sind auch in Unmittelbarer Nähe.

On a positive note, whith exception for the massive cobweb in our bathroom and the mouldy old buscuit left for us under the bed, the room and hotel was actually reasonably clean. May I suggest bring ear plugs. Granted this is an airport close hotel so expect planes landing literally every 2‐3 minutes, if you are OK with that, fantastic but for me the guy cutting the grass outside your windows at 7am was too much. Rooms are tiny and you would be hard pressed to swing one of the borrowers in them. We were there in good weather and found the whole place musty and stuffy even with windows opened. (I know hotels can be stuffy but this place was next level.) Curtins don't fit the windows and stop very little light so good luck getting a good night sleep. That being said, I will say the beds were comfortable enough. I would recommend bringing you own towels and soap as the receptionist we asked for towels from 4-5 times seemed more concerned with insulting my wife and passing the blame than doing her job. Breakfast, again, the room was clean and food very basic. If you like bread and salami you have hit the jackpot here. Hamburg centre is about 30mins away. Take the 23 bus to Alterdorf, U1 train to KellinghussenstaBe, change to the U3 train which circles the centre. To sum up, we had 4 nights here, staff welcoming on arrival but either unhelpful or inept after that. Tiny stuffy rooms, not as convenient a location as it would seem. It's OK if you're stuck for the night or have an early morning flight. Personally, I would really have to be pushed to stay here again.

Standart DZ sehr klein, hat eher was von einem Ibis Budget als von einem ”üblichen” Novum. Kein Schrank, kein Kühlschrank und auch das Bad ist unterschiedlich was die Größe angeht. Bett bequem, auch wenn ich es hasse wenn es zwei 90x2,00 Meter Betten sind und nicht ein 2x2 Meter Doppelbett. Für eine Übernachtung völlig ausreichend, ist man aber länger im Zimmer könnte es etwas eng werden. Beim Frühstück vieles leer und auch nach 20 Minuten gab es keinen wirklichen Nachschub an Brötchen, Toast oder Brot und auch Saft war Mangelware. Auswahl an Wurst und Käse beschränkt, aber ausreichend, dazu gekochte Eier, Rührei und eine kleine Auswahl an Müsli, Joghurt und Obst. Alles in allem höchstens Durchschnitt, aber man wird satt. Fazit: Zum 1-2 Übernachtungen okay, als Standort für einen längeren Aufenthalt eher zu klein was die Zimmer angeht, denn sollte man durch schlechtes Wetter im Zimmer bleiben müssen ist Platzangst angesagt. Den Preis sollte man aber positiv erwähnen, keine 40€ mit Frühstück ist stark!
