This homestay was the best experience of our trip to China! The place had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was spotless and well-maintained, with an amazing view that made every moment special. The energy of the space was incredibly peaceful, perfect for relaxing and recharging.
The family running the homestay was truly exceptional. The sister patiently explained the routes for us, ensuring we could explore the area with ease. The brother was incredibly helpful, assisting us in booking tickets and always being available whenever we needed him. The mother cooked the most delicious food, including an excellent breakfast that we looked forward to every morning.
We loved our stay so much that we extended for two more days, and we still wish we had more time to extend even further. Their kindness and care made our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting!

Hotel is nice, clean and room is comfortable. Room is big! Beside each bed has electrical power point and light switch! Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves so much. Photos are the same as real -life. Staffs are friendly and approachable. They are also very attentive to us! Breakfast is nice too! They helped to receive my Taobao goods 🤭 They provided fruits and snacks! Hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk to 武陵源and魅力湘西. Nearby hotel has quite a number of food places, no need worry. There is also a laundry place. Even though the room is at level 2 facing the road, it is not noisy at all. Will definitely recommend anyone for this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights for easy access. It is abt 4 mins to the east entrance. Baidu somehow put at an erroneous 10mins for some reason. There is a stretch of food close by. And also quite abit of other things to eat nearby.
There are also a few foot spas in the area, which is really good for those with aching feet after a few days of walking. Do not patronise the nearest one to this location. Not really good and they will try to hard sell stuff.
Room is clean and the aircon can change to hot. No lift in the building. Laundry available right outside the room. Shower is a hassle though. It goes from hot to cold and cold to hot. I tried for 3 days and it still defeats me.
Overall a good stay for the price.

It's been a marvellous 4-night stay that we extended another nifht. Receptionist xiao lee is very helpful and approachable to advise us on the itinery at zhangjiajie national forest and the grand canyon. He helpedbua with booking of the tickets and was very honest to return us a refund when he realised that my husband could get a greater diacount at age 65. The breakfast was good and auntie cooked very well. The place is very clean and the rooms neat and spacious. It is also a 15min walk to the national forest.

I had a fantastic stay at the Meiyi Light Luxury Hotel in Zhangjiajie. The Mountain View from my room was breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind. Our stay at Annica was very pleasant. The hotel is located right next to the national park (5 minutes by foot to an entrance) and the view from our room was stunning. The hotel has all the amenities one could wish for. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the pool, as we visited in winter. Especially Xiao Liu (English name: Maverick) was incredible help. He helped us plan two whole trips through the park, and was always reachable through WeChat. He was always very patient and friendly. The hotel also has a very cute and handsome cat, with which we had the pleasure of getting to know her too. We whole-heartedly recommend this hotel.

This minsu is near to the eating street and many restaurants. Also, this stay is walking distance to 东门. Super convenient!! Not to forget, the housekeeping auntie is also friendly and polite. Very clean and beautiful hotel. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing, very very helpful and very friendly with food English communicating skills. They have a drop off and pick up service to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ( South Gate ). Less than 5 minutes of drive from the sound gate of the park. Super nice room decoration. The room i am staying in has a direct and clear view of the avatar mountain. The only thing to check is the timing of your visit, because the swimming pool here might be closed during a specific period of time in the year.

We stayed here two nights. It is very close to the Park entry which is great for early morning starts. Tang the girl at the front desk helped us planned our 2 day visit at the park and showed us the plan on a map. She was also very helpful with connecting us with our didi as the hotel isn't accessible by road due to road work out the front of the hotel.
The road work is happening from 7am until 9pm, mostly while people are at the park but a little noisy if you want a day time nap.
There is a washing machine and area to dry your clothes on the top floor.
I would stay here again.

We had a splendid stay at Shuiyong Jinjiang Hotel. The sweeping mountain views from the terraces, stylish and spotless rooms, gardens full of flowers and hummingbirds, evening walks to pick corn, peanuts, and melons, and delicious homecooked meals (including plenty of fresh veggies and fruit, steaming hot wonton soup and noodles for breakfast) made our stay extremely memorable and relaxing. The staff was extremely kind, generous, and helpful, arranging our pickup from the airport and trips to the various attractions (the “Avatar Mountains” are basically just next door), suggesting different itineraries for each day, informing us of the constantly changing COVID regulations, driving us to do our COVID tests, etc. We REALLY felt like family right away. The whole place is very child-friendly too, and our two young kids loved exploring the area. We can’t wait to go back again!

PPengguna TetamuWe could not speak more highly of our accommodation and the service we received. Myself and my 21yo son stayed here to visit the Mountains. We only speak English. However, Li Yan spent over an hour with us explaining the best routes and booked our tickets to receive a discount. We managed to go through the national parks without getting lost once, which is a miracle as there is virtually no English.
At one point, we wanted to go a different way, so we messaged Li Yan on we chat, and she drew us a new map detailing where to go. Even after we left Zhangjiajie, she continued to help us via we chat. I don't think I have ever met someone who is so dedicated to providing amazing service.
The hotel rooms were sparkling clean, and we received fresh fruit. It is in a convenient location.

AALEKSANDRAIf i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park.
Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days.
Breakfast was homemade and really delicious.
To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests.
Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat.

The sunset viewpoint from the infinity pool is stunning, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful, like Rain. The Tea Master even wrote us a beautiful 2 meter Chinese calligraphy scroll to celebrate our recent engagement! She was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to China, thank you for teaching us all about the history of tea and Chinese culture. Not the best location if you wanted to see the glass bridge, but honestly the rest of Zhangjiajie was so good we didn't feel like we missed anything! Would recommend this hotel to everyone, 5/5 stars from us

SStefanieeeSauberes Hotel direkt hinter dem Busbahnhof von Zhangjiajie und der Seilbahn zum Tianmen-Berg. Der Nationalpark ist 45 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt und der HighSpeed-Bahnhof ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Taxi. In der Parallelstraße kann man gut shoppen (Leilei Hase Laden), essen oder eine Fußmassage nehmen :)
Die Rezeption spricht kein Englisch, aber ist wirklich extrem bemüht und fürsorglich. Man kann immer über WeChat Fragen stellen.

SSS-SingaporeReach ZJJ west station via the high speed rail from Changsha. After Existing the station, keep left to the Bus Station to WuLingYuan. Need to tell the staff there so they will ask the bus to detour into the station to pick ups up. Cost 13RMB per trip. Tell the Bus driver u going to East Gate, Dong Meng. You will alight after the round about along WuLing Road. From there it's just a 5 mins walk to the hotel. Greeted by Mr Yang. the owner of the hotel. I reached the hotel early at 10am, Mr Yang is nice enough to prep the room early and let me check-in. He orientated me to the surrounding and suggest my route to tour the national park. I was staying there for 3 nights. So i bought the 4 days entry ticket + unlimited Cable Cars(3 routes) & BaiLong lift ride. Very worth it if you are staying there for 4 days. Mr Yang helped me to purchase the ticket at a discount price (488RMB). Totally enjoyed the walk, hike, climb, cable car rides & lift rides as it's a low tourist season. But I make an effort to wake yp early and take the first scenic shuttle bus to the locations. The East Gate opens at 7am in the morning, closed at abt 730pm. The East Gate where the WuLingMeng landmark building is, is where all the shuttle buses will depart to the different locations, eg, to TianZhiShan, BaiLong Elevator or Ten Miles gallery. I will usually Didi to and back from the East gate to the hotel, cost abt 6-8RMB. Walking is about 1.5km. 15mins. I skip the Grand Canyon as I think it's abit overpriced and not very scenic. After the stay, I took the same public bus to ZJJ city for TianZhiShan. The pickup location for the public bus is at the same round abt, just wave at the blue bus with the label to ZJJ. Price is also 13rmb and can be paid onboard via WeChat pay. My Yang help me to buy the mountain ticket in advance as its always crowded there. I paid 238rmb for Route 2 ticket which is taking the bus up the mountain and cable car back to the city. It was super nice up in the mountain and the cable car ride was a superb experience. If you need more info can email me @ *****************. Can share more with u solo traveler. Additional Info: The location of the hotel is the best I feel, there are many shops and eatery. Do not stay at the west gate area of WuLingYuan, it's very inconvenient there. The room of the hotel is super big and clean. Bed is VERY comfortable. You have everything you need in the room. Mr Yang will often make me Chinese tea and chit chat. Very friendly and humble boss. Will definitely come back and stay in his hotel again.

HHFPerhaps one of the best homestay I have ever stay in China! The overall service was excellent. Mr Li, the boss of the homestay personally picked me from the airport. Being a foreigner, there is a problem in retrieving the Zhangjiajie health code, fortunately I managed to get it sorted out by the airport security. Mr Li called me several times as he was wondering if I gave any issue since all passengers have existed the airport and there is no sight of me coming out. We drove around 30 minutes to the homestay. As it was rather late when I arrived, Mr Li asked if I needed any dinner and will get his colleague to prepare for me. Upon arrival at the homestay, I was greeted by Ms Xiao Liu, a young pretty girl who patiently explain about the walking route for several sightseeing places. She was knowledgeable and the information given to me was very clear. What I particularly like was the energy saving, as the staircase up to my room is installed with sensor control and lit-up as soon as there is movement. My room was upgraded to a higher category which was very spacious with a bathtub and lounging area at the balcony. The room was simple but well decorated. Great views overlooking the mountain. As it was snowing the day before I arrived, the sofa was covered with snow. The next day I had breakfast at another building. The breakfast venue was located next to the swimming pool. Breakfast was simple with a nice bowl of hot noodles during the winter. The ladies that worked behind the kitchen offered me fried egg to go along with my noodles. After my breakfast, Mr Li drove me to the Wulingyuan National Park entrance which is less than 10 minutes ride. After my excursion, Mr Zhao the manager of the homestay, fetched me back to the homestay. I ordered some dumplings and it was yummy. Ms Xiao Li made me a cup of tea to go with the dumplings. My room was cleaned upon my return. Hygiene was good and housekeeper did a get job. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were a little soft for me. The only setback was the lighting in the bathroom was not bright enough when applying make-up. As my flight was in the evening, Mr Zhao fetch me to the Tianmen tourist centre as I would like visit the Tianmen mountain before my departure. I had a fabulous stay and the service offered by everyone was excellent. I will definitely return again on my next trip to Zhangjiajie.
