This Days Inn is located just NE of Dayton, Ohio in a suburban atmosphere. The place looks decent enough from outside, but poor housekeeping inside. Price is reasonable but that is no excuse for not having rooms cleaned. I think a lot of hotel service for many places have really gone downhill since the covid epidemic. Less service and higher prices. The carpet in our room was dirty with debris all over. Makes me wonder if the sheets were even changed. Ugh! We did not care for the mattress type, it was far too soft and it was hot in the room at night, despite having the noisy AC unit running. Did not sleep well. The so called, ”free” breakfast was one of the crappiest I have seen. Another common misfortune since covid. All that looked palatable was yogurt cups, coffee and OJ. We left early and drove on to get breakfast somewhere else.
