PPengguna TetamuThis was perfect for me in every way- i felt welcome, safe, cared about as a guest & supported in every simple guest need possible. i cannot appreciate enough the affordability, hospitality, simplicity, cleanliness, tidness, friendliness & respect i experienced at Maple Grove Cottage- although I suggested, as a worthy brick establishment- the ”cottage” be renamed as an Inn! Location, transportation, Asian-canadian kindnesses, so near the beautiful lake, drugstore nearby & groceries with persimmon, fresh figs! icecream mochis, abundant fresh flowers & plants, Ubereats a few steps away?
I became acquainted with a new Toronto I had never really met before & totally enjoyed the streetcar, subway options, attention to fashion, & finally a mix of cultures& shopping with an appealing home base to return to.
As kitchen & lavatory may be shared with one or two others, it is up to guests in this gentle Inn to treat the shared spaces respectfully- a good practice for guests anywhere. & the luxury of a full kitchen? loose superb green tea? nicest people... clean dishtowels, sponges, ---& windows that can open to fresh evening air.. 2nd floor has a humble yet sweet rooftop balcony with a residential street view, ideal for morning tea/coffee or an evening sip beside the branches of a magnolia tree

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at this hotel for one night, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best short stays I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The host was absolutely amazing — extremely helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire stay. They answered all of my questions quickly, even after I had already checked in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care.
The view was simply stunning. I loved the beautiful water view — waking up and seeing the water right outside was such a peaceful and memorable experience. It truly elevated the entire stay.
The unit itself was spotless and exceptionally clean. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. Everything felt fresh, organized, and very well taken care of.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it so convenient to prepare our own dinner. Having a proper kitchen setup really makes a difference, especially for a comfortable and relaxed night in.
The location is another huge plus. The area is fantastic — so many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even grocery stores nearby. Being able to walk everywhere made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay downtown. Truly a five-star experience!

AAlanSpivackA great hotel in a prime location. The Radisson Blu is situated right on the harbor. It is surrounded by iconic locations, great restaurants and attractions. The CN tower and Roger Center are just a few minutes walk. You can walk along the harbor boardwalk or sit in a nice cafe and watch planes take off and land at the small island airport just across the water.

PPengguna TetamuI had a very comfortable stay at Town Inn Suites Hotel, located at 620 Church Street.
The location is fantastic — right by Yonge-Bloor and steps from Church and Wellesley, the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Pride neighbourhood. It’s a lively area with plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and easy subway access, making it a great base for exploring the city.
The suites are very generously sized, which really stood out. They feel more like full apartments than typical hotel rooms and are fully equipped with everything you’d need for either a short or extended stay. They also recently renovated the apartments to make them a bit more modern and fresh. This makes it especially great for families who want space to spread out and feel comfortable rather than confined to a standard hotel room.
The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
A couple of small notes: the driveway is a bit narrow, so it can be tricky navigating in and out, particularly if cars are stalled or waiting at the entrance. Also, while each unit appears to have a balcony, there is no access to them — likely for safety reasons. There is a gym in the building, but I was told it is reserved for residents only and not available to hotel guests.
Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a spacious, well-located stay in downtown Toronto with a welcoming atmosphere.

环环球旅行的小杨I had a fantastic experience staying at Samesun Toronto. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to public transit, Chinatown, and plenty of restaurants. It’s easy to get anywhere in the city.
Rooms & Beds
The dorm rooms are clean and comfortable. Each bed has its own curtain, light, and outlet, which provides great privacy. The mattress was comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect throughout my stay.
Cleanliness & Facilities
The common areas are cleaned daily, and the bathrooms are well-maintained with reliable hot water. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to cook your own meals—perfect for long-term travelers or those on a budget.
Atmosphere & Social Life
The hostel has a very friendly and welcoming vibe. Guests come from all around the world, and the social atmosphere makes it easy to meet new friends. The common lounge is spacious and a great place to relax, work, or chat with other travelers.
Staff
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they gave me great local tips about transportation, sightseeing, and food options around Toronto.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed here for 4 nights at the end of the year (New Year’s trip) and spent a total of 4 very comfortable nights.
Overall, it was an amazing and pleasant stay.
The location was perfect, and the amenities and facilities were excellent.
The room and common areas were clean, well-equipped, and provided a very relaxing atmosphere. I honestly had no complaints about comfort or convenience during my stay.
However, one thing I hope will be improved in the future is that the check-in instruction email did not arrive at the scheduled time, and I hadn’t received it even when the check-in time came. A smoother communication process would make the experience even better and more reassuring for guests.
That said, this trip turned out to be wonderful and extremely comfortable, thanks to the great environment the hotel provided.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

PPengguna TetamuFirst of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown.
However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert.
The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures.
Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe booked this hotel based on location close to Toronto International Airport and that there was a shuttle service available. Our flight arrived at 12.30am and no sign of the shuttle. On ringing the hotel we were advised that the shuttle finished at 11.30pm. No where on the website mentioned the hours of operation. An expensive taxi ride later was met at reception by a very unhelpful and surly staff member. A $100.00 bond was put against our credit card in-case of damage to the room. I note that this now been charged to our credit card account, despite leaving the room exactly as we found it. Breakfast, the hot food was cold, coffee was undrinkable and the paper plates and plastic cutlery made eating breakfast difficult.
Our overall experience was poor and will not use this Comfort Inn ever again.
