"The location is near the exit of the Sakura-dori side. Look for 大名古屋 Da Nagoya and walk about 5 to 10 mins to the hotel. The hotel is along the food street where there are a lot of food options till late. The hotel room is relatively spacious by Japanese standards. Entry to the toilet is flat so you don't have to climb up to go to the toilet. The bed and pillows are comfortable. There is a water dispenser just outside the lift. The price is very reasonable as compared to Tokyo. We like Nagoya as it is a more relaxing city compared to Tokyo. Uber is not expensive so we took a taxi if we were tired. The only drawback is the cleaning service is only after the 3rd night and we are staying for 4 nights. So the rubbish tends to accumulate. Hope this will improve. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is located in between 2 subway stations, Sakae and Sakuradori Stations. Basically, you can go pretty much anywhere in Nagoya. Extremely convienent. 7-eleven right next to the elevator is a plus. There are many shops and restaurants nearby as well, including underground in Sakae. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet is okay, mixed of Western and local food. I would book this hotel again if I ever come back to Nagoya in the future."

"The place is clean and near many eateries. There's an eatery that opens till 3am which serves good ramen. The only thing is that there is no lift. So if you are staying on rooms other than the ground floor and travel with heavy luggages, it will be quite a task."

"My second stay at a Croom hotel. Both times experience has been great. Room is compact but clean. Location wise I give a slightly lower rating only because of the lack.of escalator from the station. The combini outlets nearby are smaller, esp the nearest 7-11. So I ended up going further for the bigger outlets for.more choices. Rooms are very quiet despite facing the road. Overall a happy and comfortable stay."

"Rooms and toilets are clean and staff were very friendly. Believe the hotel is relatively new, and I like the fact you need to ”touch/scan” your room key in the lift in order to select your floor, which make it extra safe, definitely a plus point. Breakfast was good and really like the dining area, it's spacious, bright and clean, breakfast staffs are super friendly also. Location of the hotel is great also, and it's in an inner street of a busy area, so it's quiet and yet convenient."

"Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae was a solid choice for our first hotel in Japan. The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but thoughtfully designed and well laid out, making it comfortable rather than cramped. The bed was comfortable with clean, fresh linens; however, there was only one pillow per person, and it was quite thin. The toilet bowl was also slightly smaller than what some travellers might be used to. The overall design felt modern and calming, and we appreciated the small round table with two stools, which was handy for a quick meal or planning the day. The work area was practical and well organised, with essentials such as a kettle, hairdryer, and a small fridge neatly tucked away. The bathroom, while compact, was spotless and had good water pressure. Overall, Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae offered a clean, efficient, and comfortable stay—an excellent base for exploring Nagoya without unnecessary frills."

"Room price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed."

"The hotel was very well kept and offered a pleasant overall stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested rooms close to each other or on the same floor. They were also helpful in receiving and handling our luggage. The room was spacious and comfortable for solo, and the bathroom was equally well designed and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5–10 minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, making it easy to get around. There are plenty of food options nearby, along with an underground mall directly below the hotel and a convenience store just 2–3 minutes away, which adds a lot of convenience. One minor drawback is the limited laundry facilities—there are only two washing machines for the entire hotel, and a full wash-and-dry cycle takes around two hours. However, it is possible to check the machine status online, which helps with planning. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and convenient amenities, with only a small downside regarding laundry capacity. The hotel breakfast buffet was also slightly underwhelming. It was a bit expensive for the variety offered, and I wished there were more Nagoya specialty dishes included considering the price."
