Stayed at HOY on a business trip and found it to be an ideal choice. The room was immaculate, well-maintained, and featured a comfortable bed, spacious workspace, free Wi-Fi. The guest house offered excellent amenities, including convenient parking was a must for me, and a refreshing lounge area to do my work undisturbed. Its proximity to nearby business hubs and conference centers made commuting effortless. The staff were professional and accommodating, catering to my business needs. I particularly valued the express checkout, and reliable internet. Overall, the place provided a seamless and productive stay. I highly recommend it to fellow business travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and professionalism.

My most recent experience at ANEW hotel in Roodepoort was such most certainly worth ”AWARDING IT WITH A 5 STAR RATING”. THE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AND SERVICE I received this last Saturday. After Checking in- I made my way through the Clean and Refreshing Lobby toward my Room. As I entered into the Room, it was Pristine- I had complimentary Tea and Coffee available for my enjoyment as well as a ”Friendly Fresh Fruit” Hamper placed nicely on the coffee table - plastic wrapped around. ANEW Roodepoort, It's Entire Site and Staff compliment - really Made such a Simple Night over ...an Actual Positive and Rewarding experience. Well done to its GM, Charmaine , who has Loyalty from her Team of Staff. Both in Front and Back of House.

The map location is correct, it is easy to take the Uber to go to the guest house. The room is clean, WiFi signal is fine, breakfast is also ok. Uber for ordering food is also available.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by its excellent location, top-notch service, and overall hospitality. The hotel's location was simply outstanding. It was conveniently situated, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether it was exploring the city or embarking on a safari adventure, the hotel's central location made it a perfect base for my travels. The service provided by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, I felt genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, including a special favor of allowing me to leave my suitcase while I was away on the safari. Their flexibility and accommodating nature were greatly appreciated. The hotel itself was a sight to behold. It exuded elegance and charm, with its beautifully designed interiors and well-maintained facilities. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the inviting common areas. It was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and inviting space after a long day of exploring. Overall Rating: ★★★★★

Could not speak more highly of this little gem and the most helpful staff . Passed thru JHB for my sons karate tournament and stayed two nights at Furaha Lodge . Beautifully decorated and the settings homely but the cherry for me was the friendly and helpful staff . Area is challenging but with UBER our stay was worth it .....

Picked this hotel due mostly to location, stayed only one night. We used the Gautrain to get to the hotel from the airport, it was an easy and safe walk with luggage to the hotel along a pedestrian only street. Check in staff were very friendly and offered us a much needed cool welcome drink. Room was wonderful, AC was working and we each had a generous bottle of water, if there was any load shedding that night we did not notice it. We decided to dine in the hotels Proud Mary restaurant after noticing it seemed to be the busiest restaurant on the street, we were not disappointed, we had an excellent dinner and breakfast the next morning. Door staff stored our luggage the next day as we toured around a bit, and when we returned to pick it up they offered us a lift to the Gautrain station in a golf cart, which was really appreciated. This hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations, wished we had time to spend another night.
