Good hotel, pleasant rooms and good and plentiful breakfast. A few small concerns are the glass wall between bathroom and bedroom. When two sleep in the same room and one needs to visit the bathroom at night then the only big light available in the bathroom will flood the bedroom and most likely wake the other. Further the two swinging doors between wet and dry area didn’t close properly because they use (weak) magnets. Ample parking opposite of the hotel (free during the evening and night until 09:00 or in the paid parking garage across the hotel. Nice bedding and very adequate airco which is always a must have for me, I need to sleep in a very cold room.

Das Beste am Hotel ist definitiv die Lage, total zentral in Kempten, neben dem Parktheater gelegen, in wenigen Gehminuten im Zentrum Kemptens. Es gibt eine eigene Tiefgarage, hierfür muss man an der Rezeption einen Code holen, der oben vor der Einfahrt eingegeben werden muss. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein großes Comfort Zimmer mit Balkon im 9. Stock. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Leider ist es etwas hellhörig. Das WLAN könnte besser funktionieren. Im Obergeschoss gibt es die Skylounge, hier kann man richtig toll frühstücken mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick über Kempten. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert für einen kurzen Aufenthalt!

We were visiting friends in Kempten for a couple of days and touring the area. Our friend recommended the Allgau ART hotel. It was excellent. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and even better pillows. It is also very well located. 2 blocks from a shopping mall and several restaurants nearby. The breakfast had alot of choice variety and was perfect The staff was friendly and helpful. It was also very reasonable price which made this a value lodging. We highly recommend this hotel for your selection when in Kempten.

Stopped for a night on my way to Austria (11/12.09). Very good location - close to downtown but quiet. Nice beer hall next door (as a hotel guest you get either coffee or shot of Schnaps on the house). Easy to park - directly underneath (7€ for 24 hours). Smooth and efficient check-in, the gentleman working there could easily work at a 5 star hotel. Rooms are the same as in all B&B but sufficient and, what is very important, have AC. Can’t fault anything, unbeatable for the price.
