Hotel terbaik di Koh Samet

A wonderful Place to stay . This Resort is awesome . Eines der besten kleinen Resorts die wir je hatten . Personal ist außergewöhnlich Freundlich und versuchen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen . Die Anlage ist super schön und liebevoll gepflegt . Kleiner , aber wirklich nur kleiner Nachteil ist die äußere Umgebung . Vorm Resort ist eine Baustelle die aber zu keiner Zeit störend war . Zimmer sind top modern und super sauber . Zum Haupt Strand sind es etwa 1 Minute zu Fuß . Zudem hat das Resort noch einen kleinen Privat Strand . Zwar etwas steinig aber dennoch sehr schön . Wir würden jeder Zeit nochmal buchen . Einfach klasse !

First, I chose Koh Samet because I asked a local Thailand friend which island has not been overdeveloped since my early days coming to Thailand in the 1990s. His response was ”head to Koh Samet”. I looked for a value hotel on one of the more southern, less developed beaches which led me to Wong Duean Bay and the Vongdeuan Resort. The pool was a big draw. With the low tide being pretty extreme, it is really nice to have the salt water pool to cool off in and swim laps. The food seemed pretty authentic to me. With mainly Thai visitors coming in on the weekends it figures the food would be good at the Vongdeuan Resort. :) The staff were wonderful and always so fun to share a story or two with. The beach area all along the bay was extremely clean with no plastic on the beach or garbage in the water. This is a big plus when going to the shore in SE Asian countries. There are several beach restaurants but none of them had loud music, at least during the weekdays when I was there. It is definitely a sleepy and peaceful place to enjoy the water at high tide as well as the white sand beach for walks.

Having spent the weekend at this resort, it was a very enjoyable stay. The tranquility of the surrounding area on this beautiful island where you need to escape from busy Bangkok. Staff are nice and courteous, also delicious food at the restaurant. It seems they have new Management team with smiling staff. We highly recommend to our friends.

Returned to Koh Samed again two years since Covid pandemic.The island resorts and businesses have been totally decimated by Covid.I stayed Vongduean beach and apart from a few Thais there was absolutely nobody there.I felt so sorry for the locals as they’ve had hardly any business for two years. On previous visits I’ve stayed in the beach bungalows but over BT3000 a night I stayed in the newer block of rooms overlooking the pool.Surprised they’ve kept the same prices as most hotels seem to be about 50% cheaper than normal due to lack of customers. The beach and the sea are wonderful with crisp white sand and azure coloured clear sea. As the resort is very quiet there we’re just a few staff.Breakfast is the usual egg station,fruit,bacon,sausage,Thai porridge plus tea and coffee set overlooking the sea. It’s a fantastic place for couples or family holidays but in my opinion the prices are far to high at present. NB To gain access to ferry/speedboat crossing to Koh Samed a negative Antigen test is required which you will be taken by side car from ferry port to local clinic takes about 20 minutes before you’re allowed to cross to Koh Samed. Overall beautiful island an hours taxi ride from Pattaya but rooms far too expensive.

Очень красивая и ухоженная территория. Есть видеонаблюдение и охрана. Домики стоят отдельно, но есть и многоэтажные корпуса. Мы жили в отдельном домике через дорогу от бассейна, завтрака и моря. В номере есть всё необходимое, в том числе и фумигатор от комаров. Так же проводится обработка территории от насекомых. Мы жили в номере 406. Кондиционер не дует прямо на кровать, это хорошо. C Wi-Fi проблем не было. Всегда нужно следить за ключом от двери, так как снаружи дверь можно открыть только ключом. Мы один раз вышли посидеть на террасу, а ключ не взяли, пришлось искать сотрудника что бы нам открыли дверь. Завтраки вкусные. В ресторане при отеле в принципе готовят вкусно, порции не маленькие. Но нам в чек включили 10% и 7% налог, как-то раньше мы с таким не сталкивались. Если не любите острое, то сообщите заранее. Пляж небольшой, но очень хороший, чистый. Пологий вход в воду и мелкий песок. Есть морские ежи, но они на глубине, особенно внимательным нужно быть в отлив. Близко к берегу ежей не видели. Поблизости есть небольшие магазины и кафе, ресторанчики. Везде готовят вкусно. Спасибо сотрудникам отеля за внимание и помощь.

В пятый раз отдыхаем на этом острове и этот отель одно из лучших мест для спокойного отдыха. Если не устраивает пляж - во время отлива вода уходит до каменистого дна, то можно в 100 - 200 м найти другой пляж. Место идеально для отдыха с детьми - мелкий пляж с идеальным дном и ограждением. На случай шторма есть хороший бассейн. Хорошие завтраки, правда по непонятной закономерности чередуются то шведский стол, то a la carte. Очень дружелюбный и предупредительный персонал. Для большой кампании (семьи) удобно размещаться с вилле с видом - можно объединить 2 номера в одной вилле, так как между номерами есть дверь. Для 2 чел можно получить испорченный отдых, если попадутся шумные соседи,так как звукоизоляция очень плохая. Тогда лучше размещаться в 2 местной вилле, например tropical view twin villas. Во всей бухте очень много комаров, которые почему то не реагируют на местные репелленты и мешают насладиться вечером морскими видами с террасы, поэтому лучше брать их с собой и в больших количествах. Также не рекомендую покупать трансфер на обратный путь до Бангкока в отеле. Бумажку, которую нам дали, изъяли при посадке в спидбот на острове, а в Бан Пхе никто не встретил и пришлось оплачивать билет еще раз.

First if all, The WiFi did not work after several tries from us ,we ended up using our mobile data which is just a disappointment. No proper signage going to the hotel as they altered the entrances and exits due to covid. But please a proper assistance to your guests will go along way in terms of customer service. We had to walk and keep on asking where the hotel is. Thirdly, poor housekeeping and restaurant service. Both departments are unorganized.whenever you order something,it takes a long time for the food or drinks to be served. Next, they always made up our room last and super late till 5.30pm. Even when we requested as early as 9.30 am to please clean the room, they just give us excuses. Yes,your hotel is very under staffed but please come up with a better strategy in cleaning rooms especially we are your first timers guests,and we ended to just tidying our room during or stay. Not recommended for foreigners, only 3 people can speak or greet you in English, the rest does not even smile to the guests. Won't be recommending this hotel even if the location is lovely.

Leider habe ich ein anderes Zimmer erhalten, als auf den Bildern dargestellt. Ob mein Zimmer besser oder schlechter war, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Das Zimmer roch muffig, war aber mit einem tollen Steinboden und bequemen Bett ausgestattet. Leider hatte ich Bettwanzen im Zimmer, die mir schlimme Stiche bescherten. Meine Ankunft war sehr unfreundlich und ich als Gast fühlte mich keinesfalls willkommen. Der Strandbereich war ok. Das Strandpersonal war kaum motiviert und bedient wurde man auch nicht wirklich. Ich kann das Hotel nicht empfehlen und werde nicht zurückkommen.

Stayed at Avatara Resort Hotel from 8 to 10 December 2021. We booked a Triple Room, which was very spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Layout of the bathroom was awesome with full view of the jungle. Location is not bad just a walking distance to the Sai Kaew beach which was lively and vibrant at night, with many restaurants nearby. Unfortunately this multistory building has no lift or escalators and a long walk from the lobby and beach. Our room was on the 5th floor and climbing up those many stairs is a big problem especially for those with disabilities or older age. Path and corridors along the building are poorly lit. Breakfast by the beach is very popular with guests but service is poor. On our second day, my son found out that the fresh cold milk he had with cornflakes has gone bad. Brought to the attention of the staff who was quite reluctant and no apologies, Restaurant staff should have pay more attention to the quality of food served. Poor and unfriendly staff; no smile, no greetings and treated guests as if we are a liability to them. The staff was busy playing with their mobile phones and chatting with their colleagues rather than paying attention to the hotel guests. We need to approach them every time we needed to order and foods service are poor. Serviette and tissue paper are not provided with the food, have to asked for them.
