I had a terrible experience here at the hotel. I get to the hotel and it says it's 'closed' but there's only 5 other groups out of 40-50?. So there's no bar, or food service at all. I had to be driven to their partner hotel 1km out to get breakfast which was included in my package and that was average at best. Then had to wait another half an hour after breakfast to be picked up (even if it was a 3 minute drive back). In the room I had, the telephone didn't work so I had to come up and down to ask for basic things. In the morning, my power was cut off because they were having issues with the power. Another guest said that their power and water was cut off the day before and I was given no notice or information about this. In general, the exterior could've been maintained better and the pool was filthy and not maintained. They said they were opening the day after I left but by the looks of it, nothing was prepared for this in the first place! I don't understand why they would be accepting guests when they are 'closed'! I was told by another guest who spoke Greek that apparently on the system they have, they can't see the guests and all unless they have over 25 bookings?! I do believe if they were open it would've been a different experience. However this really impacted my trip and first impressions. Luckily I was only there for a night compared to other people who were there for a few days and had to suffer here. I don't expect it to look exactly like the pictures however, I did expect to have all the facilities that was included! In the photos you can see what I was supposed to receive e.g. bar and food but the food area was closed off! Nothing was communicated in advance properly.

Our Bungalow Garden Room with pool was rather tired certainly not as clean as we would expect for a hotel with a 5 star rating. Buffet breakfast was fine. Evening entertainment was pretty good but not widely advertised within the hotel. Having produced an app it was not updated with information during our stay. Staff were great. There is a shuttle service to Corfu Town but it runs only at 9.30am returning at 1.30 pm and needs to be pre-booked. The taxi fare to Corfu Town is circa 25 Euro's each way. To catch a bus you need to walk 10 minutes to the dual carriageway road (past the Durrells House) and cross this busy road through a gap in the central barrier. 2.50 Euro's each way. Wasp's were a real problem around the sunbathing and dining areas, although the staff did their best by providing candles. We are unlikely to return.
