Walaupun perkhidmatan dobi adalah percuma, tetamu harus ambil perhatian bahawa detergen tidak disediakan. Walaupun makanan ringan percuma tidak ada, kemudahan onsen yang luas dan suasana tenang mengimbangi pengawasan tersebut. The location is very good, close to Kyoto hotel and the room also big. Also I like the shuttle bus service. However, the facilities are not very friendly, since you have to pay extra fee for each activity, like swimming pool, spa and so on. Also. Spa only for man but didn’t have one for woman. All the facilities close at 6 pm. So if I wanted to use it after a long day, it’s impossible.

Location is perfect, within train station. There are 2 locations that connect from the train station to the hotel. Breakfast was very good with wide range of Japanese food unfortunately very limited selection of international food. The view from our room 👍.Overall we have a very comfortable stay.

Very very accessible as this is very much near or 5 minute walk to Gion District & Nishiki Market with its rotating sushi restaurant. Buses ply regularly infront of our hotel. The famous Tatami-Floored Starbucks & the Ninenzaka Old Streets are within walking distance of 30 minutes. Department stores (Uniqlo, BAL) lined up on both sides of Shijo Kawaramachi stretch where Travelodge is located. Grocery, convenience, fast food, drugstore are just around the corner. Our small room is just as comfortable as the bath works high tech & neat. It has its own pasta resto filled up almost all the time. 5-minute walk to train stations & 3-minute walk to nearest bus stop. Location is very convenient. Worth the money.

have suttle buses from the kyoto station to the hotel. and I have to say the shuttle bus driver is so welcoming and cheerful. also convenient to go to sightseeing places by bus( around 5min walk) but no convenient stores nearby. the closest one will be about 10min walk

I booked a superior double room, its very spacious and with a full sized bathtub. I enjoyed my bath after a long tiring day of your sightseeing. As it's a double room, I got 4 pillows! I was provided a crisp yukata. The receptionists are very polite and helpful.

The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable bedding to the carefully curated amenities.

Hotel was super nice! I loved almost everything. The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English. Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

Amenities like coffee and tea, toothbrush and toothpaste can be self collected at lobby. The hotel is facing a shopping mall level2 is the Dontonki shop. And it is a walking distance to kyoto train station whether JR or subway. Surrounding got shops for foods and family mart too.

Likes: - Its in a great location. Next to the river where its a real delight to hangout down on the banks in the evening. Pontocho street is very charming to walk down. - The showerhead is excellent. - The rooms are bigger than in other hotels in Japan. - a delicious Japanese style breakfast. Dislikes: - None
