Hotel berhampiran Kamo River Noryo-Yuka, Kyoto

One of my favourite hotels during my trip! We paid SGD120 per night in December 2023 and it was great value considering the location. I didn’t realise it when we booked, but this hotel is a 10 min walk to Yasaka Shrine, which was great because we had a Kimono rental and did not have time to travel to the other shrines in Kyoto. There is also a convenience store located beside Yasaka shrine, which is great for your late night snack run. I loved the private environment of the hotel, and how the sunlight shines through the shoji windows in the morning. The hotel feels really cozy and the bed is extra comfortable and feels like a premium hotel bed. Do take note that to get to this hotel, you will need to get on a bus from Kyoto station and it is about a 15-20 mins walk from the bus stop - for your consideration if you are bringing elderly and children or heavy luggage. Although considering this, this hotel is still highly recommended by me ^^

It was the first time for us to stay in this hotel, first impression at the lobby is a WOW! From the incense scent to the Japanese traditional motif deco, one can immediately feel the sense of calmness and peace. The room is typically small as in Japan standard, but the facilities are good enough for a short trip. Location is their key strength, walkable distance to most of the must-go tourist sights. However, staffs at reception desk are with various service attitude, some are friendly and helpful, some are cold and not professional as I expect minimal English conversation is a basic requirement at a branded hotel chain; at least a 'welcome to our hotel' etc greeting should be presented during customer's arriving or leaving. Sorry to say, the front desk team had given me an untrained, part-timer impression.

Easy check-in and spacious room. The entrance is hidden in a side street. There offer omplimentary bottled water and universal travel adapters were available at reception. Conveniently located above a SevenEleven as well as close to a Subway Station, Nishiki Market and a big road full of shops.

四条堀川の交差点直ぐ近くにあるホテルです。深夜にチェックインしたのですが、フロントの方は親切で、嫌な顔もせずに対応して頂けました。部屋も奇麗でアメニティも充実しており、充電用のUSBポートもあって非常に助かりました。ただ、大浴場を使うことが前提なのか、部屋にはシャワーブースしかありませんでした。部屋でゆっくりと湯船に漬かりたい方にはマイナスかも知れません。個人的には大浴場の方が嬉しいので、全く問題はありませんでしたが。 交通の便が良い点も良かったです。四条堀川のバス停からは京都駅だけでなく、金閣寺や清水寺、東寺、二条城、嵐山など有名観光地にも一本で行けますし、祇園や河原町の繁華街へも乗り換えなしで行けます。一度乗り換えが必要になりますが、南禅寺や銀閣寺などにも行けます。少し歩けば阪急の大宮駅や嵐電の四条大宮駅がありますし、観光にせよビジネスにせよ非常にアクセスは良いです。ホテルのすぐ南にはファミリーマートがありますし、その先にはセブンイレブンもあるのでちょっとした買い物にも困りません。 宿泊費もリーズナブルでしたし、お勧めのホテルです。

Lokasinya jauh sedikit dari pusat seperti Stesen Kyoto dan Shijo, tetapi saya fikir ia boleh diterima. Saya menginap di bilik ***a Jepun dengan kembar superior, tetapi sangat bagus kerana saya boleh menghabiskannya tanpa alas kaki dan bilik mandi serta tandas bersih. Saya tidak tahu sama ada ia di sebelah atau di atas, tetapi saya boleh mendengar bunyi kanak-kanak berlari sepanjang masa, dan apabila saya berunding dengan meja depan, dia segera mengalihkan bilik. Saya fikir kelajuan menangani kawasan ini sangat mengagumkan. Saya mahu tinggal di sini lagi.

Terletak di tingkat 10, onsen ini disertai dengan ruang istirahat zen yang tenang, sesuai untuk berehat selepas berendam atau menunggu penyiapan pakaian. Walaupun perkhidmatan dobi adalah percuma, tetamu harus ambil perhatian bahawa detergen tidak disediakan. Walaupun makanan ringan percuma tidak ada, kemudahan onsen yang luas dan suasana tenang mengimbangi pengawasan tersebut. Walau bagaimanapun, perlu dinyatakan bahawa waktu operasi onsen adalah agak terhad, ditutup pada pukul 11 ​​malam setiap malam, dengan hanya dua pengering rambut tersedia. The room is great and the view is awesome. Room is clean and tidy. Access to Kyoto Tower and Tourism Guide Center(inside the train station) is effortless if you compare to other valuable hotel. You may also buy bus ticket to Fuji Q-Highland in the next building. Transportation is easy if you stay there. The service is quite nice since the staffs are very helpful and so kind(full of smile). Also, they're quite good in English. You may also get the discount voucher to get into Kyoto Tower Observatorium Deck. Amenities are basic, should be added, like shaving kits, etc.

Excellent location near the train station. Room are small but clean. There is a supermarket across the street.

The hotel is a bit business style and the TV in the room is quite small. The hotel comes with swimming pool but you need to pay extra to use the amenities (about $10-20 per person). We felt the locals (taxi driver for example) aren't really welcoming foreigners (English speaking) and might act a bit rude, but besides that, the town is quieter than Osaka and we enjoyed dining at Yakiniku Yaruki - Shijo Kawaramachi (all you can eat BBQ with wagyu beef).
