Meine Eindrücke in Kurzform: Lage: Keine Fussgängerlage, jedoch mit dem Zug nur 1 Station, 4 min., von HB Kyoto weg. Die Station ist 250 m vom Hotel entfernt. Essen in der Nähe vom Hotel: Keine grosse Auswahl, da in einer Wohngegend und nicht in einer Touristengegend. Hotel: Typisches, japanisches Hotel. Schuhe sind am Eingang ausziehen. Anschliessend kann man das ganze Hotel entweder Barfuss oder in Socken begehen. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Zimmer hat es Pyjamas. Die Zimmer sind klein, jedoch Tiptop im Schuss gehalten. Onsen: Es hat 2 offene Bäder, getrennt nach Frauen und Männern. Zudem hat es 5 private Onsen. Diese sind 24h offen. Reservieren muss man nicht. Wir hatten immer ohne Probleme ein freies vorgefunden. Sonstiges: In jedem Stock hat es eine Auswahl an Kissen in jeder Variation. Zudem hat es Kimonos die man nehmen kann. In der Lobby gibt es Kaffe und Tee. Zudem gibt es Abends von 10 - 11 im ersten Stock Nudelsuppe. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Lovely house in central Kyoto, easy and convenient to get around to other parts of the city by bus or train. Very clean and atmospheric, floor heating, ACs, water temperature control. Mind you this is a traditional house so taller people beware, you are going to have to practice some ducking. The nearby environment was very lovely and quiet with some caffès, food places and shops all within 10-20 mins walking distance. Definitely recommend this place and other properties under the same name if you prefer this kind of stay to a traditional hotel.

Very clean, pleasant. Best part by far: unlimited free use of their two onsen public baths (men’s & women’s alternate daily—look for blue flag for men, red for women) each with shower area, hot bath, warm bath with jets. Upstairs cold bath, sauna with TV, and outdoor bath. Silly me couldn’t open door and thought bath was shut -forgot they slide like a barn door! Wash first in the station-bring nothing in with you, baskets in changing area and lock box do room key before entryway. Baths open 6 am to 11 pm. Great after long day sightseeing. Ryokan provides bathrobes and obi sash, slippers and towels in your room. Quintessential Japanese guest rooms with tatami rice straw mats, futon, and cushion for low table. Hot pot in room for the complimentary green tea and sweet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Massages reservations available after 1 PM to 9. $60/hour. M Checkout 7-10. Cool little neighborhood. 15 minute walk to Kyoto station. Walking distance to UNESCO Toji Temple and several other temples. Easy to catch bus nearby.

hotel is located near train station, stayed there two nights, quiet and comfortable guest room, sophisticated TV system, can do chromcast and watch YouTube and Netflix. lobby floor with Family Mart and Starbucks just round the corner. No parking in the hotel, but next door there is a parking lot, not expensive. hot spring on lobby floor, not big but good for relaxing Staff are nice and communicate in English

I was amazed by the complimentary snacks (e.g. chocolate, pineapple, smoked cheese sweets), coffee (DIY from grinding beans to pouring the hot water over the powder ground from the beans), alcohol (red and white wines, asahi beer, sour beer, highball) and juices/tea available at levels 2 and 3 of the building! Water is available at every floor from the water dispenser (same goes for ice). It seems to be a family-friendly hotel as I observed so, with amenities such as table tennis table, play/games areas, and reading area at the same levels 2 and 3 of the building; there were many happy kids around too. The park view was great, though I did not use the balcony. Rooftop terrace had great views of kyoto, giving a glimpse of the kyoto tower and one of the pagoda temples. Thankfully the laundromat is on the same level 5 as my room so I can quickly use it and collect clothes when done. Nonetheless the TVs in the room could show the status of the three machines. There was unfortunately one incidence where one person did not clear his/her clothes in time and there was a queue starting. Level 1 is the bath house, which is complimentary for hotel guests but chargeable for public; not crowded for men. The service staff were friendly from check in to check out of the hotel. The bus stops and train station are walkable from the hotel. There are convenience stores nearby too. I think the only downsides are that the glasses in the room are a tad small so one cannot fill much water, and the toothpaste is too little, which I finished in two brushes (morning and night). Maybe the hotel can consider expanding the capacities for both the glasses and toothpastes?

Really enjoyed my stay. The hosts are great, and the guesthouse is a beautiful traditional building they’ve transformed into a great space to relax in. Was nice and central for exploring Kyoto, and the hosts had some great tips on getting around and what to see.

Very pleasant stays at this lovely hotel. Room is bigger than most hotels in Japan Has a small kitchen stove that we used to cook a family dinner on the last day since the supermarket was just right across the road. Must mention the service staff was super helpful and accommodating. If I’m visiting Kyoto again will definitely stay here again!

아라시야마에 가기 위한 란덴역과 가까워서 좋았던 비즈호. 다만 1층에 담배냄새 약간 깔려 있기 때문에 예민하신분은 힘들 수 있겠네요. 그리고 욕실이 건물에 하나뿐이라 씻는 타이밍 잡기가 어려울 수 있겠습니다. 전 갈 때마다 사람 있어서 한 시간 못 씻었던 거 같음. 1회용 수건 비스무리한 건 주긴 하는데 개인 수건 챙겨가셔야 합니다. 그래도 방은 생각보다 넓고, 깨끗하고, 프라이빗하게 열쇠로 잠글 수도 있어서 숙소로서는 아주 좋았습니다.

Masa & Saki nos recibieron con una gran sonrisa y nos abrieron las puertas de su casa. La casa es muy bonita, está muy limpia, hay una cocina compartida muy moderna y mucho espacio de sala de estar para cenar, descansar o jugar un juego de mesa antes de irse a dormir. Nos encontramos con la sorpresa de una habitación mejor de la que habíamos reservado, muy amplia, limpísima, cómoda. Los aseos y duchas igualmente limpios y siempre disponibles, no tuvimos que esperar colas. La casa es muy tranquila, en general las horas de descanso se respetan y la convivencia es tranquila. Muy agradecida a los dueños, es el lugar perfecto para descansar trans un largo día haciendo turismo. No creo que vuelva a Japón a corto plazo, pero sin duda volvería a alejarme con ellos.
