Hotel berhampiran Pantai Emerald, Motobu

February 2026 I'm not sure why the negative reviews, but as a couple, we thought the hotel was great! It's a room to stay, of course having the most updated facilities would be great, but are you really worried about that so much? In any case, decorations aside, the beds were comfy and there was a lot of space in the room. The bathroom was great and there's an anti-fog spot right next to the sink so that was nice. I guess the only ”complaint” was that sometimes the shower water was inconsistent, but because we shower together, it was kind of a nice ”you get your turn and I get mine” There's a small fridge which was good to store drinks and some snacks for the hikes we had in the area. The location was good for us as we spent a lot of time driving around the north part of the island. It had a decent view of the seaside. The pool wasn't filled as it was winter during our stay, but honestly it was fine. Sure, not a bar in the actual hotel, but who would really want to go and get overpriced drinks in ANY hotel anyway? We did the breakfast package, and honestly thought there were plenty to get. A little mix of east and west, but it was a great start to each of our days. Maybe a little overpriced, but still good. We did one dinner night, that was probably over-priced, BUT it was all you can eat on some great slices of beef. Lots of desserts and different types of food. There was also a small selection of spirits and drinks that you could have with your meal. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Service was great. Would stay again if I was doing a similar itinerary, but since we did most of everything we wanted to in the area, would probably stay in a different area anyway.

The best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to Churaumi Ocean park. It also has an in-house onsen, albeit a small one. However, don't be fooled by its exterior, the rooms are quite old and design out-dated. The hotel is still using old-fashioned keys with heavy key-holders for the rooms.

후기가 많이 없어서 예약하기 매우 걱정됐던 숙소였으나 막상 입실해보니 여기로 오길 잘했다는 생각이 너무너무 들었습니다. 2층 숙소 테라스로 바라본 바다뷰는 너무 아름다웠습니다. 인덕션, 주방식기, 전자레인지 등 주방도 너무 잘 갖춰져 있고 세탁기, 건조기, 로봇청소기 등 잘 갖춰져있었습니다. 여름인데도 숙소 내부에서 벌레 한마리도 못봤구요. 거실과 침실이 분리되어 있고 내부도 굉장히 넓어서 여러모로 아주 만족한 숙소였습니다. 바다랑도 가깝고 비세자키 스노클링 포인트와도 가까워서 수영, 스노클링 하기에도 좋습니다. 내 지인이 간다면 꼭 추천하고 싶은 숙소였습니다!!

The entrance to the room was stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently a ten-minute drive from the aquarium, with a shuttle service also available. Many nearby dining options were available, and the sea views were lovely. We chose not to have breakfast due to the price 3300 yen. Free parking was plentiful. However, we did find that the air conditioning could be improved, as a setting of 20 degrees was insufficiently cool. Additionally, the pool's operating hours (9 AM to 6 PM) seemed somewhat limited, and the gym could benefit from additional strength training equipment. However, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return.

The floor made of wooden planks makes every step you walk sound loud. The office for check-in is on another location further up. Need to email them before you reach and wait for them to reply. I waited for quite long but no reply and in the end I get some other local at a restaurant to help me to call them. In the end they came to pick us up. There are washing machine, fridge and a small kitchen.

Nice accommodation but the cost is slightly on the high side. Check in /out is easy and fast. Not able to arrange for breakfast when we reach there is kind of disappointing. Some aircon in the rooms are not working very well and it affected our sleep.

地理位置還可以，算是靠近海洋博公園；度假村設備還可以（早上8-11有takeaway的早餐盒，附近沒啥吃的）不過晚上6點後沒有工作人員；房間也算整潔，這一晚大概HKD 690，一分錢一分貨。

Love the ocean view room, however they gave me a room on the second floor and they are always taxi waiting outside and sometimes the diver smokes and it gets into the room. There are a microwave, stove (no pots/pans, cutlery and tableware), fridge and a washing machine (you can turn the shower area into a dryer by using the setting) available in the room. Detergent can be purchased for 100yen from the front desk. I used the paid parking (1000 yen) as it was raining - the parking area next to it is for hospital visitors, park at your own risk. Location wise, you will need a car to get around. Or else, metered taxi are easily available as it is right next to a hospital. You will need to drive out most of the time, as the restaurants nearby are very limited and closes early. There is no access to beach as it is a sea wall. Take note of the check in time as it opens till 8pm only.

The guesthouse is located in the countryside. Not very convenient, but really quiet and peaceful. I spent a relaxing time there, sleeping early and awaking early everyday. The owners are very nice. The breakfasts every morning are tasty. The house is full of Beatles’ posters and discs. I love the vintage vibe so much. The cleanliness is acceptable. There were some little geckos and insects in the room. But it was understandable because of the location. The wifi is not working. I was compelled to take a social detox. Lol.
