PPengguna TetamuThe Windsor Hotel at Toya may boast its status as a premier 5-star luxury destination and its historic role as host of the 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit, but our recent stay fell far short of expectations.
Despite the grandeur of the location and its breathtaking views, the service quality was surprisingly poor for a hotel of this caliber. English communication was inconsistent and below the standard expected at an international luxury property. Housekeeping was careless—leaving a used cleaning towel on the bed after daily room service, which is simply unacceptable.
When I drove to the main entrance to pick up my family, I was abruptly asked to leave immediately, even though only a few cars were present. This lack of hospitality was jarring. Additionally, being charged for extra bottled water—something even 3-star hotels offer complimentary—felt petty and out of touch with luxury norms.
The most troubling experience came during checkout. Two of our international credit cards failed to process, and although we successfully paid with a third, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional. We were met with a sour expression and the word “FINALLY” once the transaction went through—an unacceptable remark that left a lasting negative impression.
While the hotel’s setting is undeniably beautiful, the overall service and treatment we received did not reflect the standards of a true 5-star experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve both staff training and guest relations.

Xxuj_cn家庭式房間 很大 還有閣樓一層 房間有冰箱 淋浴和衞生間分離 很乾凈 無異味 也很安靜 有洗衣房 有烘乾機 當天有其他日本遊客入住 老闆人很好 很樂於幫助你 可以約好時間接送你去車站或者温泉街 晚上我們晚上坐船看煙花要9點二十多結束 老闆也很幫忙在那個時間來接我們回 旅館旁邊有三條徒步路線 有兩條比較短 各自來回花半個小時多 清晨一路緩行到金比羅火火口展望台 偶遇野生梅花鹿 互相好奇而謹慎的觀察片刻 然後一扭身 它跳鑽入路邊的植叢不見了 得了意料之外的小福利 據老闆説其實這裡有很多鹿 到了展望台 可以遠眺洞爺湖和温泉街區 以及綠山環抱的一潭碧水（小小火口） 老闆熱情邀請我們冬天再來 想來雪景更勝一籌

YYs0603The room is new and clean. However, the hotel does not provide personal room slipper so I feel abit uncomfortable with the slipper provided. The room view is perfect if the weather Is good. The hotel is near to a few famous go to spot such as the lake Hill farm, silo observation deck and ukimido park. The road to hotel can be misty if you are driving at night. so try to reach the hotel earlier if possible.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis cabin offers a fantastic, peaceful vibe completely surrounded by nature. While the location is a bit remote and far from the main tracks, the quality of the facilities made our stay very comfortable. The only real downside was the heavy presence of bugs after dark, so you definitely need to come prepared for that. Overall, a wonderful nature retreat if you don't mind a secluded drive and some local wildlife.

MMeldoeThis hotel have stunning view towards lake Toya, private onsen which include open air and a bathtub right at ur balcony. The only downside is a bit rural every restaurant close around 4:30pm, and if u don’t want to have hotel dinner you can only buy cup noodle from the hotel lobby. The only downside is the check out time is 10am… is this a Japan thing? Usually us 12pmif I stay in the city… and I found the staff is not as helpful as we were carrying 4 luggage checking out and wanted to load into our car… he just wait my bf load it on his own…
But during check in the lady staffs were very helpful loading off the luggage and helping us to change the breakfast menu. Only minor hiccups nth much. Overall is enjoyable.

PPengguna Tanpa Nama房主不會英文和中文的，很愛乾淨，一個人入住，沒見面，看見帖在門上打印的紙條了，指示很清晰，進房桌子上拿鑰匙就行。記得換鞋上樓提樓梯，進房間時不能穿鞋哦。入住後要打電話給房主，還送了入住小禮品，謝謝。浴室的門不是很靈活，不過沒關係，房主給了萬世閣的泡湯券，去那付款500日元就行，泡湯很不錯，沒必要在房主這洗了。體驗了把自己鋪床和入住日本民宿的快樂！（給中國遊客的提示，房主強調垃圾要分類哦，不行就自己帶去711丟了）。總之比較滿意！也補充了榻榻米的知識。前台在左邊的那個門，入住時看看幾個門上帖的是否有你名字就行。另外建議右邊那個灰色的煤油取暖器收了吧，用牆角的那個新款白色的就行，不然你真的會聞到煤油味道，上面還寫了一小時通風至少2次的提示，白色的是新款的，不存在這個問題。總之，非常不錯的民宿體驗，謝謝房主。

张张申贤四個床，兩個雙人的。床品較軟，再硬點好了。離湖很近，早上起來跑個步心情愉快。離市區較遠，開車需半小時，屋裡各種器具齊全，美美的吃了個火鍋，洗了衣服並烘乾。

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel operates entirely on a self-service basis, with staff rarely available to assist. It can be quite difficult at times. When you do ask for help, their tone is often impatient. The hot spring room has a strong, unpleasant odor, as if it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The room features Japanese tatami mats, but you have to make your own bed and set up the bedding yourself. Room cleaning is basic and not very thorough, and there’s no service to speak of. Given the price, I don’t think it’s worth it at all.
