Check-in was quick. Pisey on reception was very helpful. The room was lovely. Comfortable with a huge bath in the room. Breakfast is from a menu, not buffet. A little strange, but OK. The pool and bar area is good. Not many sun loungers (5) but it was quiet so we were OK. The shower was very powerful and there was always hot water (not a given in Cambodia). Hand soap in the bathroom would have been appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended!
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, which made it easy to relax and sleep well after a long day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and all the facilities in the room were in great condition.
The bathroom was very clean and hot water available at all times. Housekeeping did an excellent, keeping everything fresh and tidy.
The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. They were always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast.
The hotel location is also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service.

Hotel itself it's nice and clean, great ac. There is a kettle to boil water, but no fridge. Reception is very nice and speaks good English. It's around 2km from center, but walking there is totally no pleasure as it's a busy dirty road with no place for pedestrians

Pros: Staff is really nice, welcoming and helpful. They let me in the room before check in time. My room was pre-cooled, when I entered the AC was working. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices, western and aisian. Food on the rooftop restaurant is also good. Views are nice.
Cons: This is not, by any means 4* hotel. Sheets and pillow cases had stains and dirt on them, they give you 4 pillows but I couldn't find one that is clean. I put my own beach towels on the bed and slept on them. I've been to much cheaper places throughout Asia that were modest but really clean. The pool is small and shalow, they have only 4 sun lounges for 17 story hotel and they do not provide pool towel, you have to bring one from your bathroom. They are playing inappropriate and very loud music at the pool. And the worst thing is that they gave me a room on the second floor, right in front of construction site in the building next to it, without any information or warning. They didn't even provide earplugs. Works are done from 8am during all day and it is unbearable to be in the room, and there is no enough space at the pool and the music is also loud. This is unacceptable for a 4* hotel.
I am not sure for what did I pay that ridiculously high price. I feel they should pay me for staying there.
I do not recommend this place. There are a lot of cheaper and better places, and most importantly cleaner.

I have the best time in Hotel Cambodiana. Such beautiful place for a hotel. I felt my White Lotus moments. The room assigned to us was very huge. 5x of what I have in other countries but even more affordable including breakfast. The breakfast was topnotch. we love the khmer food selections, the fruits, and the others. We love the garden restaurant so many great selections for afforadble price. They gave us free drinks too to celebrate. I will be back to book again soon.

This hotel is good for value, cleanliness, and friendly staff who spoke English. The room is very spacious, bed is comfortable and AC works well. There is a kettle, fridge, safe, chair, coffee table and sofa ,free water and coffee sticks are also provided. A mini bar is there for a fee, and room service menu is also there. The bathroom comes with hairdryer, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, the hot water pressure is good.
The room is facing the street and at night it can get noisy, so windows have to be closed and with the AC on, it makes a white noise..:)
I will stay here again when we ho back to Phnom Penh. I recommend this hotel.

Convenient location right next to the Central Market. Bus stop at the entrance of the hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory but could use some fresh juice options. The midnight snack noodles was a really nice touch with Khmer and Chinese options. With free washing machines available, it makes the hotel a solid choice for a Phnom Penh visit.

We asked for half boil egg, they gladly do for us. All staff from the front desk to the breakfast, helpful and friendly. Facilities only a pool but that is not what we go for so is fine. We ae happy with this hotel.

NNadine NFavourite Hotel Ever!! As usual, it never disappoints. Truly remarkable that this is my 4th visit and I still get the same exceptional service and staff remember me. It is nice that they treat returning visitors as VIPs and are willing to factor this in when considering certain concessions.
I had accidentally spilled my chocolate frappe on the sheets. The hotel charge me for the replacement cost (which was totally fair) and discounted the cost since I am their “loyal customer). I’m not saying they should always do this but it certainly impressed me that they considered all my visits and friends I’d encouraged to stay over. Besides this though they are still usually reasonable with such things.
Per usual, there is everything around to make your stay completely seamless from shops to pharmacies to restaurants, etc.
The room service is 24 hours and excellent. Quality produce and delivery.
Staff, especially check in are very kind and helpful. I was really impressed by the check-in guy as I land early hours of the morning and he was very efficient. Plus, they had switched on the AC and the room was very comfortable after the long journey.
Having written many reviews for this hotel, there is not much more I can say as they continue to improve and maintain very high standards.
My only complaints are that the pool closes far too early at 8pm. I hope the hotel could consider extending the time. Secondly, the 4th four does not have a designated smoking section so it can become quite thick with the smoke smell. They might consider arranging ashtrays at more places than just the lift.

JJustanothertravellerHotel Kvl in Phnom Penh stands out for its prime location, nestled directly beside the Royal Palace and the river, making it a prime spot for tourists looking to explore the city's historical and cultural landmarks. The hotel itself is equipped with modern and stylish furnishings, ensuring a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable and the breakfast was a highlight, being both delicious and served à la carte, allowing for a personalized dining experience in the morning.
However, our experience took a turn when it came to the transfer service from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh. The cost of over $180 for the transfer felt exorbitant, especially given the condition of the vehicle and the service provided. Being transported in an older car, coupled with a driver who was not only unable to communicate in English but also constantly distracted by multiple ringing mobile phones, significantly detracted from our overall experience. Despite attempts to use Google Translate, communication was futile, and the incessant noise became a source of irritation.
Given the high price, our expectations for the transfer service were not met, leading us to conclude that utilizing a service like „Grab“ for a fraction of the cost would be a far better option in the future. On a more positive note, the transfer service from the hotel to the airport was priced at $20, which felt more reasonable and within acceptable limits.
Another significant issue was the noise level in our room. Situated on the top floor directly beneath the hotel's rooftop bar, the sound levels late into the night were intolerable. The booming music and lively atmosphere of the bar, while perhaps enjoyable for some, felt more like being in a nightclub than a hotel room. This was particularly unwelcome as we sought to rest and recover from the exhausting transfer earlier in the day.
In conclusion, while Hotel Kvl boasts an excellent location and modern amenities that contribute to a comfortable stay, the high cost and poor execution of the transfer service from Sihanoukville, coupled with the disruptive noise from the rooftop bar, marred our experience. Future guests would do well to consider alternative transportation options and inquire about room placement to ensure a more tranquil stay.

PPengguna TetamuMy stay coincided with the king’s coronation holiday and I was certainly in for treat! Three nights of fireworks, how lucky! I even got to witness a ceremony of sorts from my room window (red carpet and the full works).
The hotel’s location is amazing with unmatched views of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum Park and from the rooftop infinity pool on the 12th floor, a breathtaking view of the river!
Just a short walk on the main road, you’ll find a small Daily Mart with necessities, the victory monument just across the road, and Brown Cafe (it’s not the only branch but it’s the coolest-looking one with a little glass house centre and good cold drip coffee).
While the hotel doesn’t have a gym, Phnom Penh is a relatively walkable city and you can definitely get your steps in while exploring.
Don’t miss the sunset - absolutely stunning from the pool. You can order food from the restaurant (the hotel’s only restaurant on the 11th floor) and they’ll serve it to you poolside.
Breakfast and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is average at best and you’re much better off having it at Brown Cafe just 2 min walk from the hotel, or any of the local eateries nearby.
When I checked in, the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe king room but I noticed a strong smell of turpentine or some chemical sealant that stung my eyes. It was likely from some recent repair works. Turning up the AC and opening the windows solved it.
Bonus points for the bedding - super comfortable. Had the best sleep and there were mornings where I had to pull myself out of bed.
But the best part of this comfortable fuss-free hotel is the warm hospitality and service from the hotel staff. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. Special shoutout to Thiya from the front desk for helping me out when I broke a glass in the bathroom, and for his patience with my incessant queries. I’ll certainly be back!

RRobsastarOn this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda.
A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold.
Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife.
Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that!
Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient.
Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me.
Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK.
Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

PPengguna TetamuI booked a room here for 5 nights and then even extended my stay for another 2 nights. The hotel is located quite central in the city, so it is easy to get around.
The room was clean and nice. The staff is friendly and speaks English well and - not that it's important - the girls at the front desk looked really cute ;o).
In other reviews I read complaints about the hotel not having hot water (but just a rooftop solar water heater), which is true but was not a problem for me at all. Reality is that it never gets cold anyway and therefore the water also never gets really cold.
I recommend it and would stay here again - no doubt about that.

BBellaN5The hotel is brilliantly located and has amazing views from the top floor. The rooms are large but with little hanging area. The beds are large and hard but comfortable. Room service and housekeeping is haphazard. Some days your room is serviced other days not.
The staff are friendly, breakfasts are okay but limited choice of fresh fruit and veg. The pool area is crammed with around 10 beds squeezed in to one side of the terrace but do have shade.
Great value and would likely return.

PPengguna TetamuTurned up at 6am as arrived on the overnight bus. My 2 cabin cases were carried upstairs for me to my awaiting “pod”! It had a light, plug socket & usb socket and fan, clean bedding! I slept for 5 hours until I had to leave for my plane. Bed was comfy, slept like a baby. Didn’t have time to use the amenities but saw a pool, a bar, pool table, menus , plenty of games - looked like it would’ve been a fun time! Arrived at the airport and realised I’d left my backpack & laptop etc !!! Couldn’t find the telephone no: but sent a grab and the bar man helped locate it and I managed to get it before the flight! If only I’d had more time - looked fun !
