Hotel berhampiran Centro Artesanal Carabaya, Lima

A great choice in the heart of Miraflores. A clean, modern and very quiet hotel close to everything. 1 block away from airport bus stop and 10 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms were serviced everyday and they were more than adequate, I stayed for 2 weeks and had no issues. Many cafes and resturants around the hotel, I did not eat at the hotel itself heover it seemed reasonable and many others did. Highly recommended.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.

Reservé 2 habitaciones standard para año nuevo 2024, una con cama matrimonial para mi hijo y para mí, y la otra con 2 camas. Y al momento de la reserva especifiqué que necesitaba que estén una al lado de la otra, o exactamente al frente. Cuando hice check in, fuimos a las habitaciones y la mía era cama doble y encima no estaban al frente, felizmente la señora de recepción pudo solucionar pero estuvimos bastante rato esperando. Luego, a las 5y30pm aprox llamo a Room Service para pedir la cena de mi hijo, me contesta un chico y me toma el pedido. Pasa 1 HORA, llamo para saber cuánto más iba a demorar y un señor de restaurante de muy mala manera me dice que no tiene ningún pedido y que no era su problema porque él acababa de entrar a turno. Me pareció una pésima atención y pésima forma de resolver un problema. Obviamente tuve que volver a hacer el pedido y esperar más, pero dejó mucho que desear la respuesta de su personal del restaurante e hizo que me amargue el momento. Finalmente, en recepción a la hora del check in preguntamos si Room Service atendería normal hasta las 11pm, nos dijo que sí. Cuando nos fueron a dejar la comida de mi hijo, volví a preguntar al mozo y me dijo que ya no tomaban pedidos porque estaban con la cena buffet. Entonces nos iban a dejar sin cena a mi familia y a mí, ya que al estar con un niño pequeño él ya iba a dormir y yo no iba a poder salir al restaurante. Después de insistir, accedió a tomarnos el pedido pero tenía que ser en ese momento (siendo 7pm, comida llegó 7y20) y lamentablemente tuve que cenar comida fría ya que recién pude hacerlo después de dormir a mi hijo a las 8y30pm aprox. Realmente no volvería al hotel por tener tantas malas experiencias en 1 solo día de estadía.

Todo fue muy bien, buen servicio y atención, el cuarto muy limpio. Lo mejor fue el desayuno, muy muy rico . Único problema es que las tarjetas de los cuartos se malogran siempre, me quede una semana y todos los días casi tuve que pedir me cambiaran la tarjeta por que dejaba de funcionar.

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

This is my second use of Hotel Diamond. In my first review I regarded it as ”exceptional,” and there is no change in that evaluation! Another great stay. Since my 2021 visit, they have opened up a breakfast buffet on the fourth floor (complimentary). It's excellent. And the view . . . the only place I know of where you can get a glimpse of two grand colonial courtyards (of convents/monasteries), along with a wonderful cluster of colonial church domes. Just a great hotel--friendly staff, efficient and well-cared for, updated rooms, superb location. A winner of winners!

Passamos apenas um noite para descansar para no dia seguinte pegamos um outro vôo. Apesar de termos chegado 11:00pm, o Sr Martin foi bem receptivo, atencioso e educado, nos recebeu com uns docinhos e bebidinhas e no dia seguinte, apesar de cedo, 06:00 am, nos providenciou um café da manhã delicioso!! As acomodações apesar de ser uma casa antiga estavam bem limpas e cuidadas.

酒店接機在到達處TAXI365，等待十分鐘，有人帶着去找接機巴士。酒店就在機場對面，環境不太好。進酒店了，就不出來了。在酒店餐廳吃簡餐。 客房不小，但是窗户很小，衞生間也不大。 凌晨兩點半退房，前台服務員，行李員，司機，餐廳都有人值班，不用叫早。真是不錯。 相比市區酒店，這個酒店的價格有些高了。
