Hotel berhampiran Le Petit Lourdes, Lourdes

Stayed for 2 nights June 2022. The receptionists were so helpful. They offered us options for rooms and they even took us upstairs to see and to choose our rooms... something which I have never been offered in any hotel. Thank you for meeting our requests. The location is perfect if you're driving a car since there's a large free public car park round the corner and the hotel is only 10 mins on foot from the Sanctuary. The rooms are in immaculate condition. Breakfast was reasonable but not the best I've had. Can improve. On the whole I would definitely recommend this hotel without any doubt.

Beautiful hotel in Lourdes near the sanctuary, shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. Hotel is very clean and has wonderful comfy beds and serves good breakfast in the mornings and wonderful meals in the evening. To get to the hotel you can either take a shuttle bus which goes to the Sanctuary. Once you get dropped at the Sanctuary the hotel is a few minutes walk. The cost for this shuttle bus is about 3 euros. During Easter this shuttle bus is not regular. We had to take a shared taxi from the airport which cost us 12 euros per person, as we had missed the last bus at 7pm. The hotel is also very popular with pilgrims, so for those of you not coming in groups, book early. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. A special thank you to all their staff for giving us a pleasant stay. We hope to see you again soon.

We travelled to Lourdes on pilgrimage with HCPT (Hosanna House and Children’s Pilgrimage Trust). Hotel Croix des Bretons was our “home” for the week. We spent 7 nights here over the Easter weekend - the 1st week of the season, and the staff could not have been more prepared. From the warm & friendly welcome, accommodating all of our unusual requests like they were absolutely run of the mill, to the buffet style food which was refreshing and good. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere that Francois, Sabine & the team don’t manage. The hotel itself is really clean, the rooms are comfortable, especially the beds, with extra blankets in the wardrobes if needed. The bathroom was spacious and super clean, ours had a bath with a wall shower. The staff in the restaurant were kind, caring and diligent. I know that if I were to come to Lourdes, by myself outside of the organised pilgrimage, Hotel Croix des Bretons would be the first place I would look to book. Grazie Francois! This trip was just me and my Husband this time for our 40th Wedding Anniversary and we always wanted to stay at this Hotel as we have been in many times before to have a drink in the bar. As it was just the two of us we had our own choice of hotel so you can imagine we were excited to book and stay there. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the garden. The room was not deluxe it was not what we expected even down to no bed side tables or any drawers in the room the wardrobe rail was very short hence creasing our clothes, for this reasion, I asked to borrow an iron for 5 minutes but got told by the receptionist to wait in reception till someone came to show me to the pressing room in another building. I waited 20 minutes no one came so I gave up and never asked again. The first morning there was no hot water so cold showers. I heard the receptionist saying to another guest who was complaining about the same issue that it would be fixed later that day. Which it was. The tea tray was very sparce one breakfast tea bag each and one sugar each with a very small pod of milk not enough for a decent cup of tea. To add the biggest insult there was two wooden sticks to stir the tea not even a proper spoon in a deluxe room? We took the small stool out of the shower to put our tea on whilst we sat on the 2 dirty chairs on the balcony. We have had far better variety of breakfast from every other hotels we have stayed in lourdes. When we arrived we was told we did not have to book evening dinner in the restaurant so on the actually day of our 40th Anniversary we went down to the restaurant but was told no room even though the restaurant at the time was half empty. We had a lovely meal in another Hotel. To top it all when we got home our Children told us that they contacted the hotel reception to ask could they order a surprise bottle of champagen on the day to be sent to our room they was on the telphone to them for an hour but hit a brick wall as they would not take payment from them. I do not normally write reviews but after receiving a welcome written note from the Staff when we entered the room saying Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary we hope you enjoy your stay and if there is anything you need our staff is to hand. this letter was accompanied by 6 macaroons on a plate. Hotel has not even answered reviews on there website shows they do not care and its not a cheap hotel.

Ibis Lourdes When we arrived we were very kindly given our room. We had asked for a room away from the lifts however when we went up to the room we were quite near the lift so I went downstairs to ask if we could change rooms. I was told by the receptionist that the hotel was full. so went back upstairs to go into the room. While I was downstairs my husband tried to get into the room many times and I also tried when back upstairs without success. The key-card machine kept flashing red except once for about 2 seconds went green but did not connect and open. So I again went downstairs to speak to the receptionist. At this point she was extremely rude saying, 'have you put the card in correctly, has it gone green etc'? Talking to us as if we had never used a keycard before! Then she proceeded to come upstairs and try the card without success herself even banging the door to try and open it. A short time afterwards once in our room I went downstairs to ask if I could have an extra blanket as sometimes I feel the cold at night to find a very helpful different receptionist who went to look for one. The room was fine- normal layout for the Ibis. Had an extremely large television. Unfortunately we had a very bad night due to what appears to the toilet fan unit being very noisy /broken and a road cleaner working along the roads outside our window from 0500 to 0545. When I mentioned in the morning that it appears the toilet fan was broken it was to the same receptionist who checked us in, turned round and said we should have asked to change rooms!!!!! When arrived showed my Silver Accor membership card - however nothing extra for being a member offered. Excellent central location
