Hotel terbaik di Magdeburg

Als ich das Zimmer betrat ist es sehr sehr sauber und sehr geräumig und bequem das Hotel kann ich nur weiter empfehlen Hotel Personal an der Rezeption sehr höflich erklärte mir den Weg zum Zimmer nach dem Check in

Groot hotel met weinig gasten toen wij er waren. Kamers ok, vriendelijk personeel. Helaas was er voor de rest weinig te beleven. Bar/Restaurant slechts 3 uur geopend en in het weekend zelfs gesloten. Ongezellig en donker in de bar. De barman had blijkbaar angst dat er teveel gasten binnenkwamen. Sauna werkte ook niet. 5 € voor een parking waar je voor toegang eerst 50 meter door de modder moet ploeteren en om te verlaten een heel stuk achterwaarts moet rijden had ik ook nog nooit meegemaakt. Zou allemaal beter vermeld moeten worden op de website.

Wir haben dieses Hotel aufgrund der zentralen Lage zu Hauptbahnhof und Altstadt gewählt. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas älteren Datums, aber völlig in Ordnung, intakt und absolut sauber. Wir wurden zu jeder Zeit freundlich empfangen und beraten. Im Saunabereich haben wir ein paar mehr Liegen vermisst, aber das beeinträchtigt nicht unser Urteil. Wir können dieses Hotel empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen.

I'm trying my best to be fair to this place, but it all boils down to this, I did not enjoy my experience.  So, here are the cold hard facts,  it is a 3 star hotel located in a convenient spot for us on our way to the Czech Republic, so we stayed there. We chose the family room, which comes with a double bed and two single bunk beds. The room was clean and sufficiently kitted out for the needs of a quick stay over. The bathroom was sufficient for our purpose and had sufficient space to change. The lights in the room were somewhat temperamental, but after fiddling with them for a while, we got them to work. The hotel has limited parking and as we arrived at 21:30 hrs, there was none left so we parked nearby on the street which is free from 20:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs. Here is where the drama started. We were ”greeted” by a gentleman at the front desk who possessed a ”matter of fact” disposition. He is the stereotypical German with whom I like to work but lacks social skills. He was not rude, but neither was he welcoming.  He was not unhelpful, but I did not feel particularly helped. It would appear that if you don't call the hotel to confirm your stay by 18:00 hrs, your room is cancelled.  He told us this in a manner that made us feel like we were unaware of the obvious while simultaneously telling us that he did not cancel the room on this occasion.  To cut a long story short, after a long day of driving, we did not need to feel as if we were about to be stranded in Magnaburge with nowhere to sleep. To sum this up, it's a stop over spot on our destination, and while it served its purpose, I would not stay here again.

I arrived late and left early (this hotel is about 5 mins walk from the Railway Station) but was very satisfied with my stay here. The hotel is clearly pretty new and was unusually decorated with a cycling theme which made it a bit interesting - I am tempted to return to the area with my bike in the future now! The staff I dealt with on reception were pleasant and I would describe the room as very clean and comfortable. The one minor annoyance was that there is no glass in the bathroom or even any kind of cup in the room but by the time I had undressed and realised this I was too tired to get dressed to go downstairs and ask for one (as invited by the notice in the room) so made do with an empty drink bottle I happened to have with me. Slept well in the room though, would stay here again.

Das Hotel war super und auch der Empfang und der Service. In den Zimmern hat mir persönlich ein Wasserkocher mit bisschen Tee oder Kaffee gefehlt. Ansonsten war es super. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Es ist von allem etwas da und auch sehr reichlich. Was vielleicht beim Frühstück öfter mal kontrolliert werden sollte ist der Saftautomat. Da war ständig der Saft leer, kam nur gefärbtes Wasser. Die Gläser beim Kaffeegerät müssten auch zügiger nachgefüllt werden. Ich würde aber jederzeit dort wieder übernachten.

Pleasant hotel, art-deco style, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly personnel. Good restaurant. Spacious room with needed facilities. Bathtub was a plus when travelling with a child. Bed was quite big but not very big as marked. Breakfast was good, quite diverse, but not exceptional- 21 euros is a lot to pay for it.
