This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

The staff is amazing. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They could tell I was from out of the country and made many recommendations for me to see their lovely city. The room was clean and housekeeping would come around later in the afternoon when I would be out. The restaurant buffet was wonderful, a wide selection of Asian foods. My departure flight was late in the day so they let me stay longer in the room with a later check out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed here and celebrated our Birthday and Wedding Anniversary and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism was outstanding. We truly appreciate Mr. Jason (pool area attendant) for taking care of us and offering drinks even though we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We also commend Ms. Marivic and her team, especially their dining area supervisor, for serving our food. Special mention to Ms. Sheila, who serenaded us during dinner. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and offered stunning views. Every interaction with the staff left a positive impression, making our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch service and welcoming atmosphere.

I nice place in the middle of the crowded city. Clean and comfortable. Balcony door is blocked. Traffic ambient noise behind the window. No real sight of interest view. A lap pool, a bathing pool, and a hot jacuzzi outside.

it suppose to be called motel, as have car place with room. may look look not really bright frommoutside, but have to take a look inside. for more then reasonable 2000P you will get huge and styly room with asia style partitition indicate separation between massive bad, food corner, biz corner and solid size jacuzi. clean and well maintained, godd sequrity, hotel stuff nice and partonizing. food better to call from outside.

I booked online, upon check in FO staffs said they don’t received yet my booking confirmation, I showed confirmation but she is hesitant to look at it, as she said should be on her system. So I wait for a while, by the way it’s past 6 pm .. and tired from airport. Room is spacious, comfortable king size bed. Limited time room amenities, garbage on side table not cleared, trash still in the bin, toilet not so clean and disposable slippers is open and used. At this point, I’m more disappointed. Breakfast is not so well. Below average in same hotel categories. The bread are nice, looks homemade. Most of staffs are trainee. Bellman, concierge are willing and ready to assist always.

I cannot remember anymore how many times we stayed here for most of our family occasions. We enjoyed staying here because staffs were all warm and friendly and always welcome us with smiles, from security guards to front desk staffs. This New Year we encountered a slight problem which they were able to address immediately. Because we were told upon check in that cooking is no longer allowed in P-4. :So we were shocked because i was not informed prior to the booking date. And we already prepared everything including all the food that we intend to cooked. I told them to give consideration as i don't want to ruin our new year celebrations, Imagine, staying in a hotel for 3 days without any food to cook especially on new year eve, what are we going to do then with all the meat, seafood, etc that we brought. Luckily, all's well that ends well. Every problem has been solved, so thank you Orchids for allowing us and providing all the cooking materials we requested. If you will ask me if i will come back. Of course, still no doubt about that. Only hoping on our next visit, there will be breakfast buffet already and pool will be allowed to used also. And about the cooking, we will be glad if it will be allowed again.

Ini disyorkan kepada saya oleh seorang rakan dan mengatakan perkara yang baik tentang tempat ini jadi saya terfikir untuk mencubanya juga. Secara keseluruhan, kami menikmati penginapan kami dan kami pasti akan kembali ke sini tidak lama lagi bersama rakan-rakan kami! ♥ Terima kasih ☺

The place was very clean, as I initially booked the first night thru Agoda. Sleep comfort was very good, considering that the aircon was operating at the right temperature. The water pressure and temperature of the shower were quite right and the food (not that pricey) was above average. I ended up booking for another 48 hours and got a good deal from them directly. Kudos to Sheila from the Front Office who went out of her way to bring up to my room the credit/debit card terminal to pay for my incremental charges. With staff like that, who would not come back again?

Walking distance to Rizal Stadium/Coliseum. Has plenty of fastfood shops around. Has it's own Mama V cafe, and several ”silog” shops accross the road. Hotel is clean, not necessarily new. I had access to Netflix, using pre-logged in account.

We had a great time. Sogo is a very nice chain of hotels and the Malate is one of their best. Their motto is correct. It is clean & very good. The food is wonderful, The place is very efficient and the people are very cool. A few things went wrong with our travel and plans but Dennis, Jocelyn & Joanna went above and beyond to help us work things out smoothly
