This was the second time I stayed at Coral Azur, the first being my brother's wedding in 2022, so returned for old times sake. Check in was straight forward. The hotel represents good value, I booked a standard room that was recently renovated. It was spacious enough - a bit bare, lacking a bit of furniture. The bed was large and comfortable. Big thanks to my boy Neermal for cleaning my room properly each day. If you are looking for that extra bit of comfort them I'd advise to book a signature room. The breakfast excels with a wide array of hot and cold options. The crepes are a must to try! The dinner buffet is ok, nothing to write home about. But each night there is a different cuisine from another country, like Chinese, Indian and Mauritian for example which is a nice touch given how the country has so many races and the food kind of borrows from each other. If you are not looking to leave the resort much then I'd recommend to go halfboard or all inclusive if you want drinks. It represents good value compared to some of the five stars. The staff are still the same who took care of us from the wedding who work ever so hard: Junaid, Warren, Devraj, Phil, Sunden and of course J.Lo (not THE real J.Lo obvs - you'll know when you meet her). The resort goes out of its way to provide entertainment each evening like Butlins in the UK, dancing, live music, DJ, Karaoke as it can get boring as things in Mauritius closes early. This is something many of the 5-stars lack and sets Coral apart. The location is great also on Mont Choisy, one of the prettiest beaches. The sunsets are breathtaking. There are also spas and water sports available and a company next door offering scuba diving. It's a three- star and does not try to pretend it's something it's not. If you are looking for the stereotypical Mauritius experience then it's probably not it. But it offers phenomenal value and you arguably get more than what you pay for in that regard which maybe explains why it's always packed and fully booked. I'd recommend it as a great midrange offering.

We stayed at Coral Azur for 3 nights. Our overall stay was great, the only issue was the sockets in our room were outdated and it caused inconvenience for charging. The room cleanliness, staff and restautant were good.

We spent eight nights at the Coral Azur. I highly recommend the hotel. Below are the specifics. We arranged transportation to/from the airport with the hotel. We had five adults. The total round-trip cost per person was ~$40 USD. It was efficient and easy. The rides to/from the hotel took just under an hour. All communication with the hotel was efficient. We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM. The check-in staff allowed us to eat off the buffet (closed at 10 PM) for no charge. We did not ask to eat or say we were hungry. They just said, “Help yourself.” In all of our travels, this was a first! Check-in was relatively easy. Rooms are standard size with a balcony. I think all rooms have an ocean view, which is a nice perk. Also, one can view the excellent sunsets from the balcony. Our room had a fridge, safe, good shower pressure with hot water, and toilets that flushed without problem. The pool area was nice, with plenty of chairs. The hotel has nightly entertainment. The breakfast buffet was good, with a large selection and everything one would want for breakfast, including mimosas! Breakfast and dinner, if one chooses to eat at the hotel, are in an open-air restaurant. To minimize the impact of birds, the staff provides bread outside of the restaurant. It works reasonably well but not 100%. Be prepared for birds flying around during meals. There are plenty of taxis available outside the hotel. We negotiated service with one taxi driver for the week. They took our family to town for shopping, etc. We also used them for a ride to dinner every evening. The area has several nice restaurants, but very few are within walking distance. It was more cost-effective to eat out than at the hotel. She goes over the top to make everyone feel welcome. In the morning, during breakfast, she visits every table and tries to learn about all the guests. She and I had lunch together. Hearing her story was excellent!

Hotel is in a very nice location Friendly staff and fill very welcoming We have been there with our children, and it was a pleasant stay & food very good & room very nice. Will surely come back.

Kosaal zahir toushal Reshma Fabrice. The staff at Lagoon Attitude are excellent and very attentive, they can't do enough for you. They showed us around the hotel and we very friendly upon arrival. The hotel is beautiful and is it's own paradise. The beach is excellent. Our room is wonderful and spotlessly clean. It is cleaned every day by Begum who is excellent at her job. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

They have a beautiful beach and the view is amazing. They are different from other hotels. Their infrastructure is different from others. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The managers are very good. This was our first trip and they've made it beautiful.
