Stayed here on the 3 & 4th June..New hotel,so was as expected,clean fresh and well maintained..Room was quite small,but bed was very comfortable ( 2 king singles pushed together),bathroom was a good size with big shower,that had a hand held head,as well as rain head.No wardtobe,but had a rail which had around 6 clothes hangers.. Connie who was at the front desk was amazimg,very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.Very easy.and seamless check-in.. Location of the hotel was great,a stones throw to the Vic Market ,and restaurants. We will be back in the future,and do recommend this hotel... 2 thumbs up...👍👍

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend André I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

It was a good experience, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is pretty new, located in Dockland ( last stop of the free tram zone), only take 20 minutes to city by free tram, great saving of transportation. We got 2 Queen bed room for 3 peoples, free water, free coffee. Also had swimming pool and gym located in level 6 Highly recommend place for people who want to travel around Melbourne cbd

Asrama anak perempuan saya betul-betul bertentangan Walaupun ia adalah kawasan yang tidak bebas, anda boleh menaiki trem percuma hanya 400 meter dari perpustakaan Ia sangat mudah untuk menaiki trem atau berjalan ke mana-mana setiap hari. Saya menginap selama tiga malam dan menukar kepada dua jenis bilik. Bilik ini mempunyai dapur dan ruang tamu, sangat dekat dengan Pasar Wei Ma! Kelemahannya ialah tong sampah dan tuala mandi tidak ditukar sejak beberapa hari ini, tetapi kami tidak peduli, kami hanya boleh mengeringkan tuala mandi di balkoni .

Perfect location and nice staff. But that’s all. The room was completely different from the photos. There’s nothing like curtains to block the water from shower and the water just splashing around the toilet and the whole floor. If we knew this, we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Location is perfect so I would recommend this hotel to people who don’t really care about shower.. Other rooms could be different and better than our room…

The room is quite nice and the location is good. It’s self checkin so I had to wait downstairs for a while as there was no staff and I wasn’t aware of this. There was a really a noisy alarm in the building across the street from my room and I asked to change room around midnight. The staff aren’t very accommodating and I couldn’t change room. Luckily the noise stopped after a while. The hotel is okay but I had actually just come from the Brady Hotel at Central Melbourne where the price and location is similar but with much better customer service. I’d suggest skipping the Ibis.

Excellent location! Right in the town area and very convenient to all the tourists spots. Trams, food places, shops and train station just walkable distance away. Hotel located at a quiet location and spacious room. Comfortable room and friendly staffs.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. This is a really good quality hotel in a nice part of Melbourne. We are Accor Plus members but this night was booked using Emirates points. Accor still gave us a a top floor room with a stunning view and the usual free drink vouchers, which I didn't expect since I didn't book with them. The room was clean with the aforementioned good view and had every thing you need for a short stay. Improvements would be a coffee machine instead of simply a kettle, and a better Chromecast as the one we had just wouldn't work. These are minor issues though. Lifts were very slow, as only one seemed to be operating. Breakfast was efficient and tasty, although the included coffee could be improved and the extra charge coffee was too cold to be enjoyable. All in all an excellent hotel to stay at if you need to stay in the South Wharf end of Melbourne, and we will certainly stay again.

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!
