Way over rated hotel, no luxuries at all. The rooms are average. Bathroom cleanness was a big issue, hair in shower floor, dental floss left over from a previous guest. The pool closes at 6. Breakfast varieties vary average. It’s a quiet place that’s it. Not worth the money we spent.

From before even arriving, the service at Grotta Giusti was superb. I called with questions and to pre book spa treatments and I was immediately comforted to know the quality of service on our visit would be high. I met my backpacking mother in Italy for about 8 days and had decided to end a busy sightseeing trip with a few relaxing days at a spa and our visit to Grotta Giusti couldn’t have been more perfect. We arrived from Florence by train to Montacatini Terme. Upon arrival to the train we called a taxi and they arrived quickly and the ride was about 10 minutes and €23. We received a warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel. We were a couple hours early and they were able to give us one of two rooms and took time and care to explain the resort and review our spa appointments for the weekend. They hosted a poolside BBQ our first night with live music! The setting and food were excellent. The fitness center is high quality and the spa experiences were top of the line. And especially the grotta which is a wonder to see and experience. The restaurant and bar, including the breakfast were outstanding. Best of all was the attentive staff and service. They made my mom and I feel special and as if we were their only guests in a busy weekend! You’re in good hands with all of them but make sure you meet Luigi who will ensure the best visit, and you MUST let Federico make you a cocktail - just let him make you something and don’t ask questions! Roman was the hardest worker I have seen running between the pool bar and other areas he was nonstop and alway smiling! And Fabrizio was our server in the main dining room two nights in a row - he was fantastic. Weather permitting you can sit outside for dinner and they had live music out second night as well! Overall a relaxing, serene, and perfect end to a touristy vacation before heading back to reality!

Located in the heart of the Tuscan Countryside. A beautiful and authentic wellness spa. We loved the large thermal pools and the spa services. The highlight is a grotto that is a natural thermal spa where you walk into a cave in the earth. Very unique. You wear white robes and sweat at different level of depth and heat called inferno and purgatory. The morning breakfast is a beautiful setting under a large tree. You can easily drive to Florence or San Gimignano for a day trip. The required blue swim caps for hotel guests are a riot!!

Brilliant location. A wee bit fancy where meals could have been simpler and more relaxed. A. Brilliant experience and the people made you feel very welcome. Thanks for you efforts to make us feel at home. The spa and treatment were ok but I have had better at the local thia massage. Still they make you feel pampered and special so well done.

Brilliant experience in the heart of Tuscany! Attentive service, excellent food and state of the art spa facilities in a historical context. Family friend and highly recommended for both solo travelers and couples. Elisabetta, Nazareno and all the staff members were amazingly friendly and caring presences throughout my whole stay!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful boutique hotel, housed in a stunning 19th-century villa. The hotel's charm and elegance are evident from the moment you arrive. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Laura at the reception. She was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome right from the start. Laura also provided fantastic recommendations on things to do in the area, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The room was a perfect blend of classic and Tuscan elements- I loved the walls with the cypresses and gold ceiling, tasteful decor. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities one could need. The hotel grounds are equally impressive, with a lovely garden that offers a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. And the pool with pool bar! Breakfast was a delight, served in a charming dining room with a variety of delicious options. The attention to detail and personalized service truly set this hotel apart. Overall, staying at this boutique hotel in a historic villa was a wonderful experience. The combination of its rich history, beautiful architecture, and exceptional service, especially from Laura, makes it a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Believe the negative reviews. A very odd property. Breakfast was lackluster. GM played games with our Bonvoy upgrade...Marriott Corporate intervened on my behalf. A rental car is needed or Twenty Euro Taxi each way to transit center. Pool and spa areas is more like the movie Cocoon than you could ever imagine. We won't return.

We were in serious need of relaxation, so a week here seemed like a great idea. We were not wrong. From the imposing front gates, up the manicured driveway we were immediately impressed. Check-in was a sitting affair with a glass of prosecco while all the features were explained. Spa treatments of all kinds inhalation, ozone baths, facials, massages, steam rooms, roman baths, grotto, and I am sure I am missing some. Private pool for guests with an excellent bar/light menu. As befits a hotel of this standing it has an excellent restaurant too. The staff are wonderful. Hard working, personable - nothing was too much trouble. Google maps was a savior - it's not the easiest place to find. But once you do all your stresses melt away...
