Thoughtful couple running the place. They arranged transport for us with a safe and reliable driver and sent over something we left behind to our next hotel at their own cost. Definitely will come back if we return to Hongcun

PPengguna TetamuMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

PPengguna TetamuDespite being there way off-season, I still received a warm welcome. The whole facility is fun to walk around; there are many places to just sit and relax while watching the beautiful landscapes. I was really surprised when I saw a bunch of bunnies and geese in some areas—they add a nice touch to the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The rooms are good, with a nice view of the mountains. The food is simply amazing, and the breakfast was beyond all expectations. The staff were very nice and helpful, and overall my stay there was very, very enjoyable! I hope to visit you again when it gets a bit warmer.

LLancerottiNicolaThe Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

CCharlie M DeanZhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others!
Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

PPeterchen****住的盧宛套房，位置很好，就在主樓附近。房間沒得説，處處有窗，處處有景。從預訂了酒店之後，酒店的管家Jax就主動聯繫，推薦旅行規劃了，非常好。酒店裡的所有服務人員，都很有禮貌，非常熱情。開電車的小哥推薦一定要去奇墅湖，我們特地一早6點跑了一趟，宛若仙境，不虛此行。酒店的早餐非常豐盛，住了三晚，每天主菜都不重複。白雲中餐廳的晚餐，值得一試，大廚的水平是相當的高。Spa的品質超讚，需要提前預約，我原本約的晚上8:30，後來想提前半小時，沒有辦法改，全滿。做過之後，感覺非常值。整個酒店本身就值得好好看看，旁邊黃山文化園有田間小路通向盧村，哈哈哈

WWangpinganww和親友來宏村玩，住了這家三十·SANGSH酒店。
整體體驗很舒服，徽派美學的設計很有質感，房間乾淨整潔，雙卧格局寬敞，住起來很自在，衞生和環境都給滿分，服務和設施也很到位。
唯一的小遺憾是陽台視野比較一般，不過勝在離宏村很近，出行逛景區超方便，很適合想住得舒服又方便逛宏村的朋友。

XxoolisaBeautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible.
The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby
