Hotel initially presents well. However some things let it down. The room was large and spacious however it was quite windy outside and this howled through window all night. The bathroom : the shower is over a really high bath that has no door or curtain so the floor gets flooded even if your being very careful. The toilet seems to have a leak either from the water feed to the toilet or bidet as the grout channels in floor were always full of water. Only 1 towel and one hand towel supplied. Restaurant: just don’t!! The food was shocking. It made a student flat dinner look like a 5 star dining experience. Staff were helpful but very inexperienced. Basically the restaurant is an afterthought. Breakfast: this is at a different restaurant in the complex. It was quite good. Extensive fruit and vegetable options. Lots of egg options. Lovely pastries. Only minor letdown was tea and coffee. The property is a long way from any local restaurants but there is a mall 10to 15 min walk away. Just not very pleasant walking there in the wind we experienced. Would I stay here again : Yes What would I do different : taxi to the Medina and eat there. Take ear plugs.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in late April 2023. We arrived from Casablanca, by high speed train. The train station, clean and modern, is right across the street from the Hilton Tanger. Upon arrival we were upgraded from a king exec room a to junior suite. Loved the room. It was spacious, big bathroom with separate tub and shower, 2 sinks and bidet. Lots of closet space. Housekeeping brought us extra pillows that we requested. We were on the 8th floor facing the sea so we had a view of the coast. We could see Spain in the distance and the ferry coming and going to the Tangier port. Before going for breakfast we made coffee in the room with the capsules provided. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of variety, eggs on order, hot and cold dishes, Moroccan and Western. The restaurant is on the 15th floor with fantastic views over the beach and the sea. There is a mall attached to the hotel. I bought a nice Tshirt in a ladies shop and we bought some snacks at the supermarket. We walked down to the beach and along the boardwalk area that stretches for a long distance toward the port and further east. It is so clean. Workers regularly clean beaches and streets. You rarely see plastic bottles or wrappers strewn about. We took a taxi to the Medina 2 days in a row and wandered around. One day into the museum. It was okay.

Great staff, and stunning swimming pool I believe one of the best swimming pools in tanguer so far. Never seen a room but I believe they are more spacious as I have checked online. I must definitely come and spend a night with my family at Fairmont tazi palace

They did not allow us to check-in even 5 min before 14:00. We arrived abt 12:00, so we could wait at the hotel pool for 2 hours before check-in. One lady at the reception tried to be very friendly and helpful. Yet she insisted of the charge having to be invoiced on credit card on dirhams (not euros as we had booked through ***********), and with the exchange rate we ended up paying 10eur more. One waitress at the hotel bar tried to fool me with giving too little exchange - giving 20 dirhams (2eur) too little when buying some water. I noted about it, she promised to bring later claiming she did not have, but never did, finally I asked it again. I thought this was only a mistake, but later she tried to do the same to my companion, when he went to fetch some beer. So apparently this lady tries to snitch some 2eur from every tourist looking person... Other hotel guests were mostly locals. Breakfast was quite Moroccan food, I like but my travel companions not. We had booked two rooms (4 persons), and both rooms were equipped only for 1 person. So we had to ask for more towels, complimentary water bottle (which were very small bottles) etc. Calling from the room to reception or room service - no answer at all. We had to find cleaners from the aisle to help us. The beds were not good. The water from the bathroom tap and shower is dangerously burning hot when you just run it from the neutral position - it really was steaming!! Also the water pressure at shower changed and was poor. Otherwise ok, luckily the place was clean enough. Location a bit far from Medina/downtown, but there are restaurants also nearby in walking distance. Beach also near, but the big street to cross over is really dangerous (with 6 lanes, people driving like crazy).

Mon récent séjour à l'Hôtel Tarik a été une expérience absolument magnifique à tous points de vue. Dès que j'ai franchi les portes de cet établissement, j'ai été instantanément séduit par son charme et sa beauté saisissante. Chaque coin de l'hôtel respire l'élégance et le raffinement, et il est clair que chaque détail a été soigneusement pensé pour créer une atmosphère luxueuse et accueillante. Cependant, ce qui a vraiment distingué mon séjour à l'Hôtel Tarik, c'est le niveau exceptionnel de service offert par le personnel. Dès le premier instant, j'ai été accueilli avec une chaleur et une attention sincères. Le personnel était incroyablement prévenant et dévoué, toujours prêt à répondre à mes besoins et à rendre mon séjour aussi agréable que possible. Leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse ont vraiment ajouté une dimension supplémentaire à cette expérience hôtelière.

Contrairement à notre vécu d’il y a quelques années, notre séjour a été désastreux sur tous les plans. Nous avons fait le constat avec beaucoup d’amertume vu qu’il s’agissait à nos yeux de l’un des plus beaux établissements hôteliers de la région pendant quelques temps. Le site connaît une dégradation sans pareil avec l’absence du gérant ou d’un interlocuteur réactif. Je citera, en autres, les points négatifs suivants, qui ne sont pas les moindres: - Dégradation des locaux devenus vétustes - absence d’hygiène optimale - mobilier non entretenu: literie en dégradation avec linge de lit vieillot. - suppression du service de restauration qui était un des points forts de l’établissement. - suspension de la navette à déplorer pour un établissement en situation relativement éloignée du centre-ville. Nous n’y reviendrons plus!
