It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

L'hôtel est très bien, propre, confortable, accueillant. J'ai hésité entre 4 et 5 étoiles car il n'y a pas de connexion WiFi dans toutes les chambres, en tout cas, dans la nôtre, il n'y en a pas eu pendant les 3 jours où nous y étions. Je ne pense pas que ce soit un problème temporaire, mais tout simplement que dans certaines parties de l'hôtel on ne capte pas. J'allais à l'accueil (dans le hall d'entrée) pour en bénéficier. Néanmoins j'ai donné le maximum d'étoiles car les réceptionnistes étaient très aimables, il y avait des friandises dans le hall d'entrée, les dames d'entretien étaient bienveillantes et ont bien fait leur travail, ma fille a apprécié la baignoire (la plupart des hôtels ont des douches). En plus, il y a de bons restaurants à proximité, à l'écart des attrape-touristes du centre-ville.

The hotel has all that you need for comfort as a tourist. You are only a block away from the Munich Hbf so walking to the hotel with luggage was no problem. Proximity to the train station was essential for me since I used Munich as base while taking several train trips. The front desk staff is helpful and made it easy for someone who speaks very poor German. The rooms are sizeable by European standards and very comfortable. Fitness center was acceptable. You are about 4-5 long city blocks away from getting to Neuhauser Street and main shopping district (about another 3 blocks to Marienplatz) so if you mind the walking then maybe not the place for you, but I had no problem with it. Several restaurants within close walking distance (albeit not fine dining) and an Aldi's next door. One one hand nice to see a very diverse area in the immediate neighborhood, but also some sketch figures, but encountered no real problems (albeit a few odd visuals that I will not share). The breakfast was very good and I generally at eenough that lunch was not even a need or a consideration. Overall, well worth it.

Super convenient location. Right at Munich central station. Even the room was not that spacious but it was suitable for 3 people. I would recommend to take Lufthansa Express bus to and from airport. The bus will park right in front of the hotel.

Pagando 643 €, abbiamo dormito 2 notti in una camera tripla, con colazione, durante il primo week end dell'Oktoberfest. 214 € a testa. La posizione è ottima. 5 minuti a piedi dalla metro, che va sia in Oktoberfest che in centro. Questi ultimi, comunque, si possono anche raggiungere a piedi. Ho lasciato la macchina nel parcheggio sotterraneo, gratuito e molto comodo. La camera era pulitissima, moderna, (piccola per 3 persone, ma non per 2) e adeguata ai livelli di comfort di questo genere di alberghi, ma NON adeguata al prezzo gonfiato che tutte le strutture ricettive di Monaco hanno in questo periodo dell'anno. La stessa camera costerebbe 289 € tra un mese... La colazione, invece, non sarebbe adeguata in entrambi i casi. Veramente scarsa. Personale parco di sorrisi. Sicuramente ci tornerei, durante la festa. Ciao.

Simple hotel, extremely busy with very rude staff. Stayed for the start & end of a tour. There were no clean towels so we were left with 4 hand towels to dry ourselves with. Desk staff rude & uninterested. Breakfast extremely busy and felt like feeding time at the zoo. If travelling for myself again I definitely would not stay here

When we had to book a hotel in Munich, most of the other hotels were very expensive or they were booked out. The niu loco still offered rooms under 100€ per night (breakfast included!) under fair conditions. The niu is not far away from the motorway. Its neighborhood/surroundings are not beautiful. Luckily, the heavy traffic outside could not be heard in the building at all. You can park your car underground for 10€ per night. The next Tube station is within easy reach: you can walk there in 5 to 10 minutes. Line 6 takes you to Schwabing and Marienplatz directly (3€50 for one ride). My room was quiet, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfortable. There was no mini bar, but a TV with a big screen. In a box there were some games and a toy for children. The bathroom was extremely clean. I was fascinated by the disco lamp, which produced “psychedelic” light effects on the ceiling and walls. The lounge opens up into the breakfast room. Their breakfast offered a wide choice of rolls, different types of delicious German bread, various jams, sausages, fruit, yoghurts and mueslis. At the coffee machines there was self service. The coffee tasted good. Contrary to what you can read in some of the other guests’ reviews, I found the staff open-minded and cooperative. In a nutshell, I would readily return to the niu loco, because it has got many more advantages than disadvantages. My colleague wants to return there with his family.

The rooms are advertised as apart-hotel rooms for longer stays, but they are small and they mostly just traded a proper size wardrobe for a space for a kitchen sink and a microwave. The website says ”Kitchenette” but you can't really cook anything... Also, no dish soap or sponge is provided, and you have to grab plates and cutleries yourself from the restaurant area downstairs. This could easily be fixed. Also the website says there is a desk but there really isn't. What you get is a small coffee table with a low seat. Impossible to seat and expect to work comfortably on it. No laundry service or washing machines available in the hotel either. The receptionist pointed me to the mall to clean my clothes, which is very far if you don't have a car. They should at least have a partnership with external laundry service and organize pickups... Other than that, the staff was super friendly and professional. Nice hotel design, clean and good breakfast too. So I would recommend the place only for short stays.

I stay at Stay2Munich every time I go for business trip to Munich. Room is equipped with small kitchen, which is useful, especially for longer accomodation. Bed is very comfortable, room is quiet and dark. Staff is always smiling and very friendly. For breakfast, you can choose from wide range of food. There are many shops and grocery stores next to hotel, as well bus connection directly next to hotel. In case of having a car, there is big parking lot in hotel basement or outside as well. On top of that, sauna, small gym and restaurant are available in the hotel!

PPengguna TetamuHotel is located a bit away from marienplatz and the downtown shopping area . It isn”t a problem because public transportation is at your front door . taxis and the train station are near by . The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived . Pia and Jan in the restaurant took excellent care of us at dinner ,food was tasty and nicely presented . The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with a good selection to get your day started . Our room was clean , well maintained and quiet . Would definety stay again if we return to Munich . Thanks for a great stay !

PPengguna TetamuFinding a place to smoke a nice cigar in Munich is difficult. This is a nice room, but tends to get quite crowded towards the evening, with lots of cigarette smokers stepping in for a short smoke as well. They usually don't serve drinks inside the cigar lounge, but will bring them to the cashier outside and you then need to carry them inside youself (presumably to protect the server from being exposed to the smoke). The lounge though is quite nice and if when you finally get your drink is a very enjoyable place to tend to your cigar.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaAmazing service and amenities. There are even activities for residents to join for free, eg Yoga class. The lobby is well decorated with a coffee shop/bar, and working space. There is also a rooftop bar. Best part of this place is there is a washing + drying machine in room, with free detergents given to us. 100% recommend.

PPengguna TetamuWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. The only reason why the rating is average is because the hotel is good and the rooms were comfortable and neat. Otherwise only based on their customer service it would be poor.

PPengguna TetamuThis hostel is awesome. The staff are really helpful and accommodating. We came a few hours before the check in time (1500 hrs) and we were greeted, checked in and shown somewhere to securely leave our luggage while they prepared our rooms. The room itself (ours was a 10 person) is clean, with clean sheets and a very clean en-suite bathroom/shower. The rooms have air conditioning, however it was very warm at the time of our visit so I think it was struggling. Nonetheless the room felt homely and has a locker to put your valuables/clothes in (like a football locker). The breakfast is a continental breakfast priced at €8. There are many meats and cheeses along with: cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. The breakfast is a buffet so you can really make the most of it for €8 per person. The bar area itself is very nicely decorated, and run by very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. Wether you’re looking to chill out or party this hostel has everything. Would like to say a huge thanks to Kimom and Giorgos in particular. They made our visit extremely fun and provided many suggestions as to where we should go/ avoid. I have no doubts the rest of the staff are the same, but these guys made it extra special. Thanks dudes!

The room ( on the 5th floor) didn't have air conditioning, no kettle, the shower over bath was just not up to standard, the layout of the room was just not good. The lighting was awful to put it mildly. In short it did not remotely resemble the photographs that the hotel uses on Booking.com. which seem to be the refurbished rooms on floors 1 - 4. On the plus side it was clean and bed adequately comfortable. There are no restaurant facilities in the evening currently available. The area around the hotel isn't great. There are, let's call them, nighttime clubs for men in the immediate area, and I didn't feel very safe after dark, but on the plus side it is close to transport links in very easy reach of main train station. To sum up, it's not the worst place I've stayed but wouldn't recommend or stay again.

The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the attention to detail in the decor was impressive. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were top-notch.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. They were always ready to assist with any request or question, and their genuine care for their guests was evident in every interaction.
Furthermore, the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. It allowed me to explore the city effortlessly and make the most of my stay.
Overall, I can't praise this hotel enough. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and convenient location made my trip truly memorable. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
