Hotel berhampiran Nango Shrine, Nagono

The hotel located in the area of government buildings. It is therefore very good for business people. They have five restaurants. But because we did not arrange for hotel breakfast, it was a bit difficult to get breakfast around the hotel. But there is a convenient store nearby. The room was clean. Reception gave us a high floor room with beautiful city view. Appreciate that. The hotel has three big car parks. Hotel guest needed to pay parking fee of 1000 yen for throughout the stay, which I think is reasonable. The hotel is actually well located - close enough to the sightseeing spots in the city centre.

Hotel near to Nagano station, few minutes walk in flat road. Check in via self service machine is so easy. Room was clean with simple amenities n room size quite good. Staff helpful, recommend Japanese restaurants n can converse English. Bed was ok. Can choose additional pillow at lobby as well as other amenities. Could still see sakura blossom mid April in Nagano.

JR長野駅からすぐの場所にあり雨天時は地下通路が使えるので傘いらずです。東急百貨店や駅ビルも隣接、すぐ隣に農協の売店もあり地元のリンゴや野菜を安く変えました。部屋は明るくて広く清潔感があり、駅前にもかかわらず静かで快適でした。朝食が品数が多く味付けもよく美味しくいただきました。全国旅行割の活用でお得に宿泊できましたが、次回も長野での宿泊ならここを選びたいと思います。

The hotel is walking distance from Nagano Station which is a big plus. You can literally see the hotel from the station and vice versa. Staff are very accommodating, room was nicely prepared and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended place to stay in Nagano.

Great location, super convenient to train station. In addition, there is a nearby 7-11 which allows for quick purchase of essential supplies. The hotel provides washer and dryer for guest to clean their clothes which is good at affordable pricing. Only downside is the room is really small but that is the norm is Tokyo, will get used to it.

Sotetsu fresco inn Nagano is located just 5 mins walk from Nagano high speed train station. It is easy to visit tourist places like zenkoji temple (walkable distance) and snow monkey park (take tour bus behind train station). There is a sheltered overhead bridge to the hotel. The hotel is also located near many eating places (local and international ones like Starbucks and KFC) and malls (many of them selling local produce). It’s not hard to find places to eat and shop for all meals. The service in the hotel is good too. Staff will greet you the moment you enter the lobby and are quick in responding to your request. The toiletries are placed in the lobby and not in the room. Hence you need to take what you need before going into your room. The room is small and the bed and pillows are soft (does sink in a bit). The window is frosted so you cannot see the outside. You will probably get a decent rest if you are staying just 1 or 2 nights. But for more nights, perhaps the room is a bit too claustrophobic as there is no room to place to place the luggage and any other accessories you may bring along. There are also only a few local channels on TV. It was cold during winter at about 3 degrees. Thankfully the room and shower heater is effective and comfortable. Check-in and out is fast as I just need to insert my room card into the machine. Overall it’s a great experience and you are definitely getting more than the price you paid for.

The room was huge for a Japanese hotel.. conveniently linked to the train station was a bonus..friendly front desk staff..m

大浴場はあまり大きくありませんが、とても綺麗で良かったです。部屋もまだ新しくとても清潔感があり利用して良かったと思います。またチェックインが遅くなっても非常に良い対応で気持ち良かったですです。 朝ごはんも種類が多く、全種類食べきれない程のボリュームでした。また機会があれば利用したいと思えました。

ちょっと贅沢な気分で過ごしたくて宿泊しました。 素泊まりだったので評判の食事は体験しませんでしたが、それでも満足できる時間を過ごせました。 要望を伝えたおかげかは分かりませんが上階の部屋へ通していただき、眺めも良くて気持ちよかったです。部屋も広く、連泊して室内で過ごす日があっても良かったなと感じました。 大浴場も、混み具合を見て空いてるタイミングで入ることができたのでリラックスできました。あまり広すぎる感じではないので、利用者が多い時期だと難しいのかもしれませんが… チェックイン時の説明も最低限で簡潔でわかりやすく、紙で持たせてくれるので部屋でゆっくり確認できるのもありがたかったです。 日頃ホテルを利用する機会がない身としては気になるところは特になく、むしろ快適で良い時間を過ごせました。感謝でいっぱいです。 また利用させていただきたいホテルです。

翌日の朝から用事があった為、前日夜遅くから利用しました。 ごくごく普通のビジネスホテルです。 可もなく不可もなく。 ただ、難点を挙げるとすれば、ベッドサイドにコンセントがないので、普段寝ながらスマホを充電するのはちょっと不便かも。 部屋にテーブルがあり、小さなテレビがあるのでそこで充電はできますが‥‥。 手元に置いてスマホの充電をしたい私にとっては、不便でした。 必要ないと思ったのは、朝食。 今回は、朝食付きのプランでもかなりお安く泊まれたので付けたものの、あのクオリティーで1200円は高すぎ。 もしも朝食をどうしようか悩んでいる方がいるのなら、絶対におすすめしません。 食事自体もお粗末ですが、隣の席との間隔が狭い上、アクリル板などで仕切りがある訳ではないので、混雑している時間帯には気になる距離です。 ビジネスホテルでひとりで利用する方が多く、食事中に会話しない設定なのかもしれませんが、会場も狭いので隣との距離が近すぎて、利用するのを躊躇いました。 部屋にコーヒーを持ち帰れるように紙コップを用意してくれていたのは良かったです。 駐車場は隣の市営駐車場を利用することになっていますが、荷物の多い方などは、駅のデッキと繋がっている3階に駐車した方が便利です。
