We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler.
We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower.
It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser.
Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends.
And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

今回の年末年始12/31〜1/3まで、当日チェックイン時間よりも早く到着しましたが、部屋の準備が出来ているということで、約30分ほど早くチェックインできました。また以前の宿泊記録がパネルに表示されるので、紙に書く必要もなくサインのみでスムーズでした。 今回は709のスタンダード部屋を利用しました。部屋は東向きで、窓からの景色もあり、Wi-Fiもスムーズ、トイレと風呂はユニットバスでしたが、シャワーカーテンが湾曲になっており、狭くは感じません。しかし冬のこの時期、お風呂には入ると、膝を曲げて体育座りをしないと入らないという点はありますが、排水やお湯の出はスムーズ、シャワーヘッドの調整も容易になり、そうした改良点が高評価。 ベットが広く、寝やすかったですが、その分スーツケースを広げるスペースまでは無かったので、その辺りは承知していたので、問題無し。冷蔵庫も引き出しタイプなので、使い勝手がいい。暖房もうるさく無く、ただ空気清浄機の場所を窓側にしたかったが、コンセントが無く、枕元付近しか設置出来なかった。チェックアウトは、専用機でスムーズ。 朝食は決して品数は多くは無いですが、手袋をしてバイキング形式で好きなだけいたたげます。 場所は地下鉄7番からとありますが、スーツケースがあるなら、4番出口から日土地伏見ビルのエスカレーターを使うと地上まで上がれます。ただし 横断歩道をわたる必要はあります。 またホテルを左側に5分位歩くとテラッセ納屋橋の１階にドンキホーテ運営のスーパーがあり、お惣菜、パン、日用雑貨なども品数も多く、フードコートにマツキヨも。また近くにコメダに郵便局、今回運休していた空港リムジンのバス停も近く、周りの環境を考慮すると立地も高評価となりました。

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience.
Location and Accessibility:
Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport.
Room:
The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough.
Service and Facilities:
The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded.
Overall Impression:
Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Nice location with high standard of Sotetsu brand !!
Clean, nice staff, many amenities, self check-in & out is so comfortable. I reserved this room type with king bed size with more space than general. Please be aware thar almost hotel in JP is very tiny. So, This room size is over my expectation.
Always choose the hotel of Sotetsu brand !!!!

It is in a great location, 3 minutes walk from Kintetsu/Meitetsu Nagoya Station, and about 35 minutes from Centrair (Chubu International Airport).
Also, if you use Meieki Underground Mall Sunroad, you can take shortcuts without getting wet even on rainy days. Please use it as a base for business or sightseeing in Nagoya.

Very near to nagoya station. Within 5minutes walking to meitetsu bus station and train station. If you have luggages, no need worry too much. The hotel is one street opposite from meitetsu train station (to airport)
Hotel relatively much spacious than I thought of. I have three big luggages and no problem to open them in my room.
Breakfast wise slightly less choice of variation compared to other hotel that I stay.
No free amenities such as lotion or moisturiser.
Will book again since the location is very strategic and meet my most needs.

First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. It is located near Nagoya station. When we opted our room not to be cleaned, they provided with eye mask which is very thoughtful, apart from being sustainable. Overall a pleasant stay here.

Location is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.

We stayed 2 night at this hotel to explore Nagoya and Ghibli park. The location is great, close to Nagoya station especially if arriving by Shinkanshen. The room was clean and size wise it was adequate for 2 adults and 1 child (using the sofa bed). The city view was lovely especially at night. Plenty of amenities were available near the reception desk, shampoo, face wash etc. There's a good and cheap breakfast restaurant on the ground floor (connected to the Reception area) where you can fill up for a day of exploring. Good value and convenient stay in Nagoya.

Because it is a hot spring hotel, the location is a bit remote, which is more suitable for self-driving tourists. The environment is comfortable and clean. PPengguna Tetamuマリオットのポイント宿泊です。 【感想】 ・概要 名古屋では、ほぼ四半世紀ぶりに新築の高級ーホテルとだけあって、全般的な設備面は素晴らしいです。 庶民なので、各地の高級ホテルに泊まりまくっているわけではないので、目の肥えた方の評価はわかりませんが、滞在中チープさを感じるシーンは全くありませんでした。一泊5万～でも納得です。 ・結婚式業者の手掛ける高級ホテルとして 特に、このホテルは「愛グループ」という地方の結婚式業者が手掛けた初の高級ホテルということで、正直期待していなかったですが、それを裏切る完成度だと思います。 マリオット加盟ということもあり、国内外のトレンド踏まえてしっかりコンサルティングの上、作り込んだホテルなのかなと思います。 歴史、格式という点ではナゴヤキャッスルや観光ホテルかとは思いますが、単純に高級さ、高感度さの点では名古屋一のホテルではないでしょうか。 また、結婚式業者のホテルなので、婚礼・バンケット設備が主になりがちです。が、ここのホテルは1Fのエントランスから、宿泊者と婚礼施設と導線が完全に分離されているのがかなり好感でした。披露宴後の酔客がホテルのロビーに屯するという光景は見られにくく、宿泊客は静かで落ち着いた滞在ができるるのではないでしょうか。 客室などのデザインも、結婚式場付帯のホテルにありがちなギラギラした感じはなく、落ち着いた高級感のあるインテリアです。その点は、八事や笹島で運営している某結婚式業者のホテルとは異なります。 ・客室 アメニティの質が高いです。最近はSDGsのせいでリッツカールトンでもボトルタイプのシャンプー設置ですが、こちらは個包装タイプのを採用しています。香りも良いブランド品ですので、旅の思い出に持ち帰り自宅で使用することができて好感です。ドライヤーはレプロナイザーです。無料ドリンクは、瓶入りのミネラルウォーターが1人2本、ネスプレッソや、ホテルオリジナルブレンドのティーパック等もありました。 ベッドサイドのB&Oの防水スピーカーは風呂にも持っていけるし、音質もとても良いです。 東側のシティサイドの部屋でしたが、逆に高層ビルが無いので、朝日たっぷり浴びて気持ちよく起床できました。TV塔など見える久屋大通側のパークサイドのほうが部屋代高いようですが、個人的にはシティサイドのほうがおすすめです。 ・フィットネス 久屋大通を望みながら気持ちよく運動ができ、休憩所には果物や飲み物がおいてあり自由に摂ることができます。ウエアやシューズも無料で貸してくれるのでスキマ時間に気軽に訪れられます。大浴場とサウナは、客室と同じブランドのシャンプー類がボトルで設置。ドライヤーはダイソンです。 ・スタッフ 名古屋初進出の業者ということもあり、新規採用が多いのでしょう、20前半くらいの若い女性スタッフが多い印象でしたが、これくらいの若々しさとフレンドリーさがこのホテルの雰囲気には合致していると思います。老舗のベテランホテルマンの完璧な接遇はいい意味でここでは不要かと。 ドアマン、フロントスタッフの制服もトレンドとフォーマルを良い塩梅でミックスさせたもので、スタイリッシュでした。 客室はタブレット端末ばかりで諸案内がわかりにくいので、気軽にコンシェルジュに電話して相談すると良いと思います。すぐ対応してくれて、名前でちゃんと呼んでくれます。 【要望するとしたら】 ・ウェルカムフレグランスがちょっと甘ったるくてきついかな。アバクロの店舗のようなちょっとヤンチャさを感じます。 作り込まれたホテルなので何らかのコンセプトのもとで選定した香りかと思いますが、もう少しシトラスとかバーベナ系の香りのほうが良い気もします。あとはアメニティのシャンプー類と香り合わせるとか。 ・客室までの案内はなく、エレベーターでお別れです。 せめて荷物くらい後で持ってきてくれれば、と思いました、客室数も多くなく、混んでいる日でもなかったので。 また、最新の客室につき、各種操作がわかりにくいものが多いですので、やはり部屋まで来てもらって一通り説明したほうが良いのではと思います。 今春には中日ビルのロイヤルパークホテル、2026年にはコンラッドと、栄地区に高級ホテルが一気に増えます、これからが正念場だと思いますのでブラッシュアップしながら営業頑張っていただければと思います。

PPengguna TetamuHad a wonderful time in Nagoya and we stayed at the Nagoya Jr Gate Tower Hotel. Location was perfect. And we enjoyed the buffet breakfast served at their restaurant, called the Gatehouse. Checkout was seamless. We would have enjoyed our stay more if we were allowed to check in much earlier. We arrived at the hotel at 2pm but check in time was still at 3pm. We were being charged a very expensive rate if we want to check in early even if I explained that my wife is a PWD and she needs to rest. Anyway, thank you Klook and to the staff of the hotel.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI personally appreciate the location, it was easier than any other options we had around Nagoya since we’re traveling with a young child. Smoking in all rooms is prohibited as well. I noticed it’s harder to look for this feature in hotels in Nagoya. I have my son in tow and this is an absolute NO for us. The room was really small. We can hardly walk around the room. It was extremely challenging to takeout and pack our things because we didn’t have any space to fully open our luggages. Though as mother, I’m glad their walls are thicker than most hotels in Japan. We’re not troubled with the noise from the next rooms. It gives me peace of mind too that we’re not disturbing other guests in case. The breakfast was enjoyable at Yoshinoya. The branch is a heart beat away. It’s way better than my experience at another hotel nearby. We enjoyed the many pillows they offer. In terms of cleanliness, this could be well improved. For Japanese hotels I think the situation at this hotel is lower. I could see the dusts hanging by the wall and the bathroom door. It’s not helping that I’m one of those people who observes these things. I appreciate that they allowed us to deposit our luggage when we left for another city and got it when we checked back in. Saved us so much trouble. I will still stay at this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuHotel is right in front of Legoland. You can check in to the Hotel before entering the park. Highly recommend buying the tickets on the official website- international credit card accepted.
Legoland is my favorite theme park because there isn't a queue or a crowd. That means you can totally enjoy the park and literally go on your favorite rides many times!
The staff at the park is super friendly and they make the rides, arcade games and shopping memorable. Apple fries is a must have! Breaded apple slices with cinnamon dipped in whipped cream is such a treat on a winter day.
Although the parks opening hours are 10am to 5pm, it's more than enough time to enjoy the park and even sit down for a meal or snack.
Lego Hotel is amazing with big rooms and theme amenities. There is a children makers park near by with glass, pottery and even an animal zoo for children to enjoy. Of course, there are many eateries- Korean, Kyoto beef Katsu, Ramen, ********* Bubble tea and shops. There is a beautiful night fountain with lights, song and movement to enjoy.
Highly recommend making the trip to Nagoya Legoland and staying at Legoland Hotel.

I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University.
The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough.
My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome!
I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough!
I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel!
A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that.
Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s .
Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!!
If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own.
I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! A mom right at 60 years old out of her comfort zone from Alaska!

PPi Ka ChuWe stayed at this hotel while visiting Ghibli Park in early Dec, both hotel and the park were amazing. Hotel is located a little distance from Nagoya JR station, but only a short stall 5-10 mins taxi trip. Reception has warmly welcomed the guests on arrival, and provided very neat kid amenities pack (per photo) for our little girl. there are plenty of eateries nearby and during the lunch time, a few pop up shops on the street selling Bento’s. it is also very close to Nagoya science museum (which was worth visiting for full day and plenty of kid friendly activities ), but we only had 4 hours on the day we checked out. One downside here is they only have one escalator, and the reception is located on the 1st floor. On our way out, we ask the staff for help with arranging taxi and temporarily changing the direction of only escalator to move our luggages to ground, the staff was very helpful and assisted (waited) until our taxi departed, impressed with the service level of the staff who was on duty on 5th December afternoon. Strongly recommend this hotel for both holiday makers or business travellers.

KKelvin HThe location is very convenient, with walking distance to the major underground street. And the hotel is surrounded by tons of bars, clubs, convenience, stores, restaurants and donki which opens till mid nights or even 7-24. It’s best for supper.
The room is very clean and the attitude of the staff is so nice. The only thing is that they do not have air conditioner in the room during spring.(mid March) so the room maybe a bit sultry.
Also as you have to open the window to keep the air fresh, it would be a bit noisy.

헤헤수스First, the Staff was incredible, they spoke english so there was no misscomunication issue. The room was very clean, amenities were available at the lobby, the only thing i couldn't see was Cleansing foam, but i had my own. The breakfast was also good, you get fresh food and asorted drinks. The location is really good, it is near nagota station, like 15 min walking. It was summer when i visited, so to avoid the heat i went all the way from nagoya station to Kokusai Station, which is one block away from the hotel, through the underground Unimall. You can find many restaurants in the Unimall, also Starbucks, Subway and dessert shops. Some turistic attractions like Nagoya Castle and Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology are also 25min walking from the hotel. Again, since it is near Nagoya Station, you can go anywhere without problem. From the Airport you can take the Express Train (you need a ticket) or just the regular subway (use suica or a transportation card linked to applepay). I recommend this Hotel for solo travelers and also families. Great service.

Neat, friendly staff, good amenities with free flow drink and coffee bars. Good spread of breakfast and very value for money. night view outside the window.
