Edaala Comfort - B&B
4.8/514 Ulasan
The house is situated in a quiet and safe area, which is only accessible through a gate with guards. It has a big garden with seating areas where you can relax. Beds have mosquito nets. Our bathroom, in the main building was not fancy / renewed, but was OK. All was SUPER CLEAN! Vasant was our host, who is a great guy. He was kind, smiling and welcoming even when we arrived at 4 am! He really did everything to make us feel good. He prepared delicious breakfast with pancakes, eggs and various fruits. Breakfast was excellent and a lot! Vasant even gave us his phone number if we would need it in the downtown. He was very helpful and extremely friendly during the whole stay. Unfortunately there is no dinner option in the house, but we ordered food with Uber Eat. Airport pick up was organized by the B&B. We travelled with Samuel, who was always in time and transported us back and forth in the 4 days. We spent 3 nights at Edaala and it was truly a marvelous experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I went there with my colleague for a business trip and we went there by taxi from the airport. Although the taxi driver charged us much more than we thought, I would say this hotel is a Chinese friendly hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, and the workers there are very friendly to us. A young girl (can not remember her name, sorry) helped with with Uber, and also with money exchange into small amount changes. You can order take-out there if you have the app, and the charges can be paid online or by cash, which is very conveniant. You can find the pictures of the hotel below, and these are the real pictures taken with my mobile phone.

A nearby restaurant where you can walk for some cold beers as you watch your favourite being scored by a rival team.Less than 50 feet away
Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill

From the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby of Best western Nairobi, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk and we immediately knew that our stay will be amazing. Our room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and style with plush finishings and upscale amenities. Our highlight for the evening was relaxing and enjoying the quiet evening at the Zebra Bar with cool music and watching football with friends and other guests. I have just found a home away from home when in Nairobi, keep it up and recommend for other travellers to stay and experience the best.
Utalii Hotel

A very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel just outside Nairobi city centre. It’s a training hotel so most of the staff are hospitality students. Sometimes this means slightly less efficient service but everyone is professional, polite and welcoming. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with good bathrooms and excellent beds. Very clean, even though the hotel itself could do with some modernising. The gym and spa on site are very good and the large swimming pool was never busy. They do a good breakfast buffet and very decent evening food, with a wide range of options. At the time of staying the lift wasn’t working, and there are a lot of stairs. But staff were helpful with bags.

Daerah Pusat Perniagaan
I have been staying at Chester House for now over 10 years whenever I visit Nairobi for business meetings. What I enjoyed most were their breakfast. It was rich in every way. Unfortunately the effects of Covid-19 led their in-house Bar & Restaurant (B & R) to close. Now they have outsourced Breakfast to two outside restaurants. For the down stairs' restaurant, their à la carte menu is never fulfilled: there is always something not available. A second cup of tea/coffee must be paid for separately. The other restaurant is closed on Sundays. Today, you can't have a late drink in the evening. The absence of an in-house B & R has made the place no longer as cosy as it used to be. If post-Covid 19 recovery has occurred, the in-house B & R should be revived. David Kampala, Uganda
