Hotel New York dengan Sarapan

The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. This was my first stay at the Royalton. It is conveniently right down the street from our NYC office and my new ”go-to” hotel when I'm in town. The hotel is clean, has a great vibe, and I absolutely loved the room! Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a large sink and a SOAKER TUB!! The rooftop bar has a great vibe and good food. The service at the rooftop was a little slow, but it was VERY BUSY! We felt the love and enjoyed it very much.

Saya telah ke hotel ini N kali, dan sekali tidak sebaik sekali. Keseluruhan kemudahan perkakasan hotel perlu dinaik taraf, aliran air di bilik mandi agak perlahan, dan sarapan pagi masih sama. Kadangkala bubur nasi adalah sisa dari hari sebelumnya, dan sosej sarapan selama tiga hari berturut-turut mempunyai bau yang pelik.Kualiti epal adalah begitu-begitu, yang lain begitu-begitu, tetapi perkhidmatan (lelaki) di meja depan sangat mesra! Terdapat kakitangan perkhidmatan (perempuan) yang lebih tua sedikit dan tidak menghiraukannya, lupa bahawa ”berasa di rumah” adalah tujuan perkhidmatan hotel! Terdapat pembinaan di sekitar hotel, persekitaran sangat bising, menjejaskan tidur.

Terletak di Jamaica (Queens), Quality Inn JFK Airport Rockaway Blvd berada dalam lingkungan 10 minit memandu dari Universiti St. John dan Taman Belmont. Hotel ini berada 12.4 km dari Citi Field dan 15.2 km dari Muzium Kanak-kanak Brooklyn.Gunakan kemudahan sesuai yang disediakan, yang termasuk akses Internet wayarles percuma dan mesin layan diri.Sarapan Eropah percuma disajikan pada setiap hari dari 6:00 hingga 9:00.Kemudahan yang ditampilkan adalah termasuk surat khabar percuma di lobi, meja/kaunter hadapan 24 jam dan peti simpan selamat di meja/kaunter hadapan. The hotel is good and the location is fabulous. Maybe that makes the staff not care about customers as they know people are going to bring business to that location anyway. I think the staff needs to understand that they do not need to be so inhospitable and unwelcoming in nature. They do not even look up to you even if you are waiting there for 2-3 hours. I reached 2 hours early and opted to sit in the lobby when it was 3:05 pm I asked for the room as I checked in earlier the host said please wait there and showed me her hand briefly pointing straight. Now she is extremely busy and wants me to understand that she asked me to stand by pointing straight. Not understanding her hand gesture, I returned to sit and at 3:20 I went to her again (mind you she is very busy doesn’t even look at you even if you are waiting right in front of her). This time she said oh you did not stand so my colleague did not help you. Although was sitting just in-front of the desk. That’s when I lost it as I was hungry , tired and exhausted and said “I might faint now I cannot keep waiting for you honestly”. That’s when she handed me a key immediately. My question is, if she can give a key why so much hassle to someone who checked in 2 hours prior? What is this sadistic pleasure? Anyway guys you can go there just expect the staff to have a “I don’t care” attitude. The staff thinks that the money we spent for their room is something they are entitled for. The room was small but clean, which was my priority.

Hotel ini terletak 5 minit dari Charging Bull dan NYSE. Stesen kereta api juga sangat dekat. Berjalan kaki untuk menaiki Feri ke Patung Liberty. Pasaraya juga sangat dekat.  Walau bagaimanapun, bilik kecil dan sekatan adalah nipis. Apabila bilik sebelah menutup pintu bilik, boleh rasa bilik saya bergegar seperti gempa bumi mini. Perkara seterusnya ialah hanya terdapat 3 lif yang dikongsi oleh 44 tingkat bilik. Jika tergesa-gesa mengambil masa, lebih baik naik lif lebih awal.  Disebabkan tanah yang sangat mahal di NYC, saya terpaksa mencari ruang bilik untuk kemudahan.

Great location in Chinatown. Room is small but typical in Manhattan. Got a free upgrade to the 7th floor with balcony! Sofas in the lobby need to be replaced, they are sagging. Overall is good experience, will stay again.

The service was outstanding, and the room very comfortable and spacious. Very convenient to have a cafe in the lobby with local sourced baked good too. Everyone was very friendly.

The hotel was amazing the location was also good. The only thing was I there was no room service with a 22month old rooms service is always a good shout. We required milk for the baby and the receptionist said we don’t do this service. The lifts were very tight and of course busy so with a stroller it was always a hit & miss when you can get into the lift. The cleaniness and staff were very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors and will stay here again.
