Hotel berhampiran Forest Park Carousel Amusement Village, New York

I stayed here for 3 nights and would stay again. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the room was a little dated and worn (wall paper peeling a little). But it was clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. The other things that kind of bothered me were, no security to get to guest floors in the hotel - anyone could take the elevator up to any floor. I stayed on the 15th floor and when I wanted to go to the fitness center on the 7th floor, I had to take one elevator down to the lobby and then go to a different bank of elevators to get up to the 7th floor - weird. Finally, I'm not a fan of a light goes on when you enter the room - especially the bathroom at 2:00 in the morning. I will say the fitness center was really nice - new equipment and well stocked with cardio, weights and a cable pull down weight system. The lobby restaurant/bar was small but nice. Decent selection for breakfast and dinner and they make a mean Old Fashioned.

Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. I booked a balcony room and was moved to a suite as they had oversold the balcony rooms. Suite was clean and accomodating. I would say the bathroom may need attention as there was mold near the shower and the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall. Other than that, loved the size and welcoming feel of the suite.

Terdapat hanya tiga bilik pancuran mandian di bilik pancuran mandian, dan kepala pancuran mandian yang pecah tidak dibaiki walaupun selepas beberapa hari, jadi ia tidak mencukupi untuk menggunakannya. Orang yang menggunakan pancuran mandian sering mengunci pintu dari dalam, jadi saya terpaksa berulang-alik antara bilik dan bilik mandi untuk memeriksa sama ada pintu terbuka. Pada suatu hari, saya tidak mempunyai pilihan selain menggunakan bilik mandi di tingkat 9, dan saya terkejut melihat banyak acuan di bilik mandi di bahagian bawah semua langsir pancuran mandian. Berbanding dengan asrama yang saya gunakan di kawasan lain seperti Washington atau Boston, aspek kebersihan benar-benar mengecewakan. Namun begitu, ia berbaloi untuk tinggal jika anda inginkan tempat yang agak murah dengan pengangkutan yang mudah dalam kos sara hidup yang tinggi di New York.

Apabila saya datang ke Amerika Syarikat untuk perjalanan perniagaan, saya mula-mula pergi ke New York. Seorang rakan mengesyorkan tinggal di Pulau Manhattan. Terdapat ramai pelancong asing, dan bagasi boleh disimpan di tingkat satu. Orang-orang di kaunter penerimaan tetamu sangat mengalu-alukan. Tetapi kelemahannya juga jelas. Penebat bunyi sangat teruk Apabila orang di sebelah datang kembali atau berjalan di koridor, hampir tiada orang dan penebat bunyi yang saya hanya boleh menghidupkan minimum untuk menonton TV. Kebetulan terdapat mesin ais di pintu bilik (ciri hotel Amerika ia bermula setiap kali, seperti traktor Mujurlah, saya perlu menghilangkan jet lag dan tertidur dalam persekitaran yang bising. Di samping itu, ia masih merupakan hotel yang sangat baik dan kos efektif Orang yang mempunyai kualiti tidur yang baik boleh mengabaikannya.

During my week-long stay at Hi New York hostel from December 14th to 21st, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the ever-present front desk staff who were helpful and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

這個酒店離紐瓦克機場很近，但是周邊不是很方便。如果沒有車的話，就不建議住在這裏。當然了，如果就是為了離機場近，去機場方便的話，推薦！因為他們有shuttle bus 來回機場 酒店有早餐，標配的美式簡易早餐類型，中規中矩吧。 房間還不錯，乾淨衞生

We really enjoyed our stay. Only a $4.50 bus ride to NYC. Bus picks you up in front of hotel. Also close to dream mall. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and showers were hot. Hotel is a short ride to American Dream Mall. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

Friday June 28, 2024 Check-in was suppose to be at 4 pm. I tried to check in at 3pm but was told room was not ready. Totally understand that. I went to TED’s bar and restaurant (in lobby) to wait it out. I got into line about 4:15pm and I saw that they were turning ppl away who were trying to checkin. When I got to the counter, they too told me my room was not ready. I said that I had to get to an event within the 1.25 min and the associate confidently said that I would be able to checkin well advance within that time. In the meantime, I went to the lobby bathroom to change to get ready for an event. By the time I came out of the bathroom 4:55, my husband had checked us in (with pushback because he wasn’t the one who had not made the original reservation). In our bathroom floor, several strands of hair noted, some wall stains (wipeable) under the hand soap and lotion dispenser, and shower did t look like it was wipe down well. Bed linens were clean, comfy. Desk area clean. Busy hotel. Ted’s hotel-slow service with a 1-2 attendants.
