Hotel berhampiran Harlem River, New York

What a pleasant experience! I was a bit nervous since I was not familiar at all with the area, but this stay was delightful. From the friendly staff who welcomed us (Linda!) to the beautiful rooms and the actual breakfast (nice to see something other than prepackaged muffins!) this is such a nice hotel. Yes, the entry light and bathroom lights have motion sensors as mentioned in a previous review, but they only go on when you walk by them. I do wish the entry one didn’t do that as I don’t want to wake people up as I go to the bathroom at night, but it wasn’t a problem. The bathroom is updated and sparkling clean with a Very nice walk in shower (no tub). It’s obvious that the hotel has recently been renovated - all is nice, updated and clean. Parking is very limited, but arriving at 3pm, we were able to get spots which were assigned at check in. Subway is only a 5-7 minute walk and only two stops to the stadium. For dinner, walk to Charlie’s a few blocks away. Great food (calamari was awesome; meat, salmon and vegan options too) and really good drinks. Nice staff. It’s small and local and a true find (thank you to Linda for the recommendation). Would definitely return and highly recommend!

Me and Harlem go way back. Aloft Harlem used to be my go to hotel before I started staying more on the lower east side. In fact, a Marriott employee who used to work at Aloft directed me to this brand new, just opened hotel. I was excited to return to uptown and stay in this spot! I wanted to love this hotel. I don’t like giving lackluster reviews and feeling like a Karen. But over two nights, the transgressions just piled up. I’m a Marriott ambassador who stays in hotels about 240 nights a year. I never bring up my status. This might be the first time I actually uttered in frustration, “it’s September and I’ve already spent 27,000 dollars at these hotels, why is this so hard?” Upon checkin, it took almost an hour. This is even more frustrating because my first night was business and my company always sends a spending authorization. Two days in a row I checked with the hotel to see if they had received the authorization. They lost the first one. They mismanaged the second one. I always call or chat ahead to ensure a smooth checkin. It was still a mess when I arrived. The room was a “Central Park view.” I should have known better; I don’t know why I believed this title. I know New York geography better than that. I was looking into a building. Central Park facing or in the direction of Central Park shouldn’t be called central park view. I had changed from the city view to the Central Park view before arrival and I guess I’m glad I did because while they were trying to figure out my reservation they mentioned they had oversold the city view rooms. I will say the black out shades do a great job. The bed was fine. Sheets were a little co****. This hotel costs close to what a Moxy costs, so their sheets should be comparably smooth and comfortable. The bathroom was an absolute joke. Maybe not all the rooms are like mine, but mine may as well not have had a door. As you can see in my photos, the door is for “art.” There is a huge gap where you can see everything! Like probably 12 inches or greater of a gap! Who designed this and thought it was a great idea?! Glad I was alone. The air unit is SUPER loud. Doesn’t bother me as much since we usually have a fan on at home, but it was so loud that when it came on, I had to turn the TV up. It will likely bother some people. And you can hear everything through the walls. Oh, and the toilet clogged twice. And one of the days, the hot water was off all day for repairs, though that’s out of anyone’s control. It’s just giving context to a very un-relaxing stay. Back to the front desk mess—I later noted a destination fee on my bill (I had two separate bills because one night was business and one was personal). I don’t mind destination fees—I’ve had them at many Marriott properties. But I was never informed of this one. I even asked at the restaurant, and they had no idea. Accidentally booked this hotel replacing earlier apartment. After reach it’s little far from down town but very convenient Bus service just out of hotel in road 158 take you 42th street. Nice and very clean big room. It’s perfect for those who they want relax in peace atmosphere. Front Counter always welcoming with smiling faces. Specially Colombian Guy willing provide you all your assistance. A good thing free coffee in different flavors always waiting for you 24/7. Overall I will stay again my next trip for sure 👍

West Side YMCA is excellent for what it is! It’s a reasonably priced hostel in an amazing location. Right across the street from the west side of central park and a 5 min walk to the Columbus Circle subway station, which gives you access to various main train lines to the various neighborhoods and boroughs of NYC. You also get access to the pool and gym. My only gripe was with the cleanliness. The beds, sheets, and towels were clean (thank god), but the floor could have used a sweeping and a cleaning. Like I said, great for what it is. I’d definitely stay there again!

The hotel was really nice. Unfortunately a wedding was going on at the same time we were staying there, so it was noisy and chaotic at times. But the room had a great view and the service was excellent. I really wish parking was included however, especially if you stayed like 2 or more days perhaps.

Mengapa mata untuk pesanan 3,700 hanya 270? Pesanan lain bernilai beberapa ratus yuan mempunyai 400+ mata? Cara yang paling mudah untuk hotel ini adalah untuk pergi ke Staten Island Pier Anda boleh menaiki feri percuma ke pulau dalam masa 3 minit berjalan kaki Anda juga boleh mengambil gambar Patung Dewi, tetapi feri itu juga sangat besar. Anda boleh membawanya ke mana sahaja anda mahu, dan ia bertolak setiap setengah jam. Harga hotel juga adalah yang paling kos efektif di Manhattan. Friday June 28, 2024 Check-in was suppose to be at 4 pm. I tried to check in at 3pm but was told room was not ready. Totally understand that. I went to TED’s bar and restaurant (in lobby) to wait it out. I got into line about 4:15pm and I saw that they were turning ppl away who were trying to checkin. When I got to the counter, they too told me my room was not ready. I said that I had to get to an event within the 1.25 min and the associate confidently said that I would be able to checkin well advance within that time. In the meantime, I went to the lobby bathroom to change to get ready for an event. By the time I came out of the bathroom 4:55, my husband had checked us in (with pushback because he wasn’t the one who had not made the original reservation). In our bathroom floor, several strands of hair noted, some wall stains (wipeable) under the hand soap and lotion dispenser, and shower did t look like it was wipe down well. Bed linens were clean, comfy. Desk area clean. Busy hotel. Ted’s hotel-slow service with a 1-2 attendants.
