Hotel berhampiran IBM North America, New York

Hotel znajduje się zaledwie jedną przecznicę od Times Square a więc lokalizacja na 5*, jest to mały, pięciopiętrowy budynek nie posiadający windy, pokoje są małe, pokój deluxe trochę większy - w pokoju znajdziemy wygodne łóżko, miejsce na bagaż pod łóżkiem, łazienkę wraz z kosmetykami. W pokoju nie znajdziemy czajnika do kawy/herbaty, jednak w okolicy znajdziemy mnóstwo sklepów, restauracji. Nocowałem jedną noc, a więc było wszystko co mi potrzeba. Polecam!

I booked at Nap York Central park in June 2022 for September/October 2022. I chose the discounted flexible rate, as I didn’t see having to cancel or move my dates at all - my flight was paid for. Earlier this month my father suffered a stroke, was diagnosed with cancer, and was told he was in need of an operation on his heart. His quality of living went from active and healthy to in need of 24/7 care overnight. I contacted this property to see if even though the flexible option was non-refundable if there might be some leniency with this as I don’t see being able to travel in the near future, even at a partial refund (mostly for the $500 I already paid to be used for medical bills/needs). You cannot actually call or speak to anyone - they do not have phones. You can only communicate through a chat service. They don’t provide any details as to who you are talking to and my questions as to whether there is a management company I might reach out to were unanswered, and then I was just told ‘we don’t have phones’. After explaining my situation, they let me know they would not refund anything but would move the dates. According to my original booking, I would have six months to reschedule. Speaking to someone through the chat service, I was only given four months to reschedule and many dates blocked out and unavailable to me due to holidays. I pointed out that it was less time than my original booking stated and that went unaddressed, the person let me know that ‘my situation’ (my father possibly terminally ill) ‘was not their responsibility’ and they wouldn’t refund my payment or add any dates (which really would have just been giving me what I should have anyway, not exactly doing me any extra favors) and again - all questions as to whether there is an actual number or company to contact with questions was not provided. While I understand my original request for a refund was outside of the original terms, they don’t even offer the terms that are paid for and clearly stated. I’ve also worked at hotels and lodges in the past to know that they often make allowances for nonrefundable stays in cases of extreme circumstances. Booking.com reached out to try to negotiate and the only response they received was ‘no refund’. I’ve also had travel plans in the past change slightly and have been out money and have not asked for special accommodations or refunds from locations, but with the stress of my father’s health and rising costs, and so suddenly, I was looking for some empathy here. United Airlines is notorious for delayed customer service or non-negotiable refunds and I was able to explain my situation and received a full refund immediately. After some of the language used by whoever manages their chat service, I wouldn’t stay at this location at this point. I've attached some of the reviews on google, as well as management's insane responses (including taunting people about calling the police, or pointing out they don't speak English).

I have never, ever stayed somewhere that remembers my name. Bella is one of the warmest people I know. She is the face of this hotel. I was also greeted by multiple team members asking how my stay was. Everyone was truly caring and waited for my answer, ready to fix anything or just lightly chat about me moving my Son to NYC. The area seems sketchy but everyone keeps to themselves. Close to subway and fairly quiet compared to other areas. The room was very clean and fresh. Beds could use warmer blankets. We found street parking for our car. You really do not need a car here!

Sangat baik, bersih dan bersih. Di tingkat bawah adalah Times Square, yang sangat mudah untuk membeli-belah dan makan! Grande albergo nel cuore di Manhattan, all'incrocio tra 46esima e ottava. La zona, vista la prossimità a times square ed a Broadway, è sempre frequentata, anche la sera; ciò costituisce certamente una nota positiva. Disponibilità di numerose linee metropolitane a circa 3-400 metri. L'impressione generale della struttura è buona, forse non all'altezza di un quattro stelle quanto a dettagli, corridoi delle camere, pulizia (qualche macchia indesiderata e pelo/capello). La colazione, per quanto non di qualità indimenticabile, e varia e continuamente rifornita: il personale gestisce in modo efficace gli enormi flussi di ospiti, soprattutto dopo le ore 9.00. Conciergerie pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problematica. Se prenotato ad un prezzo inferiore o di poco superiore ai 300 dollari a notte, appare un'ottima soluzione.

Biliknya tidak besar dan kemudahan serta peralatannya agak lama, tetapi agak bersih. Katil juga sangat selesa dan membantu untuk tidur. Ia sangat dekat dengan Status Ferry (percuma, setiap setengah jam sepanjang hari) dan tempat berbayar Patung Liberty/Ellis pulau berlepas. Tarikan berdekatan berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki, termasuk Dewan Persekutuan, Rizab Persekutuan Amerika Syarikat dan Gereja Trinity Ia mengambil masa setengah jam untuk berjalan kaki ke Jambatan Brooklyn dan mengambil gambar di tengah-tengah jambatan. Terdapat Whole Foods Market di Wall Street tidak jauh dari hotel. Selepas membeli makanan, anda boleh makan di restoran di tingkat bawah. Ia mempunyai sup panas, sushi dan makanan Barat harga restoran, cukai dan petua, Nilai yang sangat baik untuk wang.

West Side YMCA is excellent for what it is! It’s a reasonably priced hostel in an amazing location. Right across the street from the west side of central park and a 5 min walk to the Columbus Circle subway station, which gives you access to various main train lines to the various neighborhoods and boroughs of NYC. You also get access to the pool and gym. My only gripe was with the cleanliness. The beds, sheets, and towels were clean (thank god), but the floor could have used a sweeping and a cleaning. Like I said, great for what it is. I’d definitely stay there again!

Had already stayed 3 nights in another room in the same hotel and wanted to stay another night, but couldn't stay in the same room cause it had been booked. This time didn't get the same view, but it wasn't bad all all. The bell man downstairs hold our luggage while we waited to checked in. Will recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to come and visit New York City.

The best hostel in NYC (ps: ensure no food in room!!!!! , otherwise tom & gerry will not make u be peaceful haha, besides fantastic, esp the employees are the best 🤍)

Friday June 28, 2024 Check-in was suppose to be at 4 pm. I tried to check in at 3pm but was told room was not ready. Totally understand that. I went to TED’s bar and restaurant (in lobby) to wait it out. I got into line about 4:15pm and I saw that they were turning ppl away who were trying to checkin. When I got to the counter, they too told me my room was not ready. I said that I had to get to an event within the 1.25 min and the associate confidently said that I would be able to checkin well advance within that time. In the meantime, I went to the lobby bathroom to change to get ready for an event. By the time I came out of the bathroom 4:55, my husband had checked us in (with pushback because he wasn’t the one who had not made the original reservation). In our bathroom floor, several strands of hair noted, some wall stains (wipeable) under the hand soap and lotion dispenser, and shower did t look like it was wipe down well. Bed linens were clean, comfy. Desk area clean. Busy hotel. Ted’s hotel-slow service with a 1-2 attendants.
