CchrieezzzMy best stay during my honeymoon trip to Japan. Booked this room because of the private onsen in the room. Inside there are 4 rooms but we're only 2 people 😆

RRamil RakhimovThis hotel is beautiful and the staff provides great service! Unfortunately, I didn't get the dinner because everything was booked in the restaurant, but they offered me to bring food to my room. At first I wanted to do that, but later I decided I wasn't sure if I would be hungry at that time, so I canceled.
The location is far from the center and the station, so it is better to spend your time in the village and return in the evening. This hotel is connected to another hotel, so I enjoyed just exploring everything inside. There are 2 public baths, each includes the bath inside and outside (actually, there are 3, but I didn't go outside as it was raining). It was really comfortable there. I chose the hotel only because I wanted to have an open-air onsen, and I got 2!
So, despite the location, I would recommend this place because it has a decent price, it has a great service and it is a perfect place to spend the evening!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

Modern yet real onsen.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful.
The only problem: bad private bath condition. But nothing critical.

PPengguna TetamuGood and valuable Ryokan experience, they provide shutter services too. Staff are friendly but they do not provide services after 9pm. Did not manage to ask for extra pillow as the front desk are closed in the night. The coffee and drink at the lounge are close at night too. Overall a good experience and worth the price.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is next to the ropeway to herb garden. There is a supermarket , train station and ¥100 shop within the same building. There is a 7-11 just outside (level 1). Parking is available at 8th floor for hotel guest chargeable at ¥1500 per night. Breakfast is fantastic - their curry , omelette and smoothie are their specialty. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel .

PPengguna TetamuHotel service was good. Dinner and breakfast was provided as part of the stay. Food was good for the stay since there are not much options for food at Arima. Most shops are closed by afternoon. Though the hotel is old but it’s renovated (except for the old wooden cupboard) which made the stay more pleasant. Onsen is indoor and small so will need to go at hours with lesser people.

PPengguna TetamuOverall it was ok, but one thing I had to pay attention to was that I arrived late from the airport around 12:15, so despite my best efforts I couldn't find anyone at the reception, even though I had informed in advance that I would arrive late at night, but I had to spend the night outside on the street, at 6:45 in the morning I get check-in which I will never forget.
