A nice courtyard hotel run by friendly young people who made our 3 nights stay very pleasant. There is even a washing machine for free use. Easy access to the main happening road, only downside is the lack of space for putting our big baggage which had to be placed on the floor which means we had to squat to open up our bags.
Special commendations to Lei Lei, who acted as our tour guide taking us to the must see attractions of Pingyao ancient town. She gave good explanations and recommendations,
and even helped us on transportation to the next city of our journey.

Opened in 2021, the Pusu Weilan Boutique Inn (Pingyao Ancient City Confucian Temple Branch) is a great accommodation choice in Pingyao. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Pingyao Railway Station located approximately 4km away and Yaocheng Airport roughly 62km away. With Pingyaoyinxiang Theater, Pingyao Ancient City Wall and Tongxinggong all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Pingyao hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess who gave us a map of Pingyao and the best places to see. The room was beautiful. The hotel is well situated inside of Pingyao old town, everything can be done by foot from there.

Good location, inside the commercial street. Easy to find food. The room is clean, except the shower water pressure is low. The back court yard is quite huge, there is a swing that you can enjoy reading a books. Happy during the stay.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The reason is that we had a very nice time for our first visit 4 years ago. This time it was as nice as before or even much nicer! Kind and efficient staff, traditional chinese style building and room, delicious breakfast, clean room, everything was so nice. I definitely recommend this hotel. We are sure we will visit this hotel again.

短暫美好的平遙旅程，少不了居賢閣二部安總和小兄弟的細心照顧，道一聲衷心的感謝。由於春節檔交通管制，安總親子接站指揮交通把我們安排到正規停車場，然後先把行李送回客棧，又如期瀟灑的開着大奔來接人。客棧乾淨衞生，在城中鬧中取靜，小兄弟嚮導地圖認真講解。愉快的旅程少不了他們熱情純樸的服務，真正讓我們全家感覺到賓至如歸。旅程結束還有特色手辦禮，百忙之中依然把我們全家送到停車廠。景區客棧能有這樣的老闆，山西之榮光。踏實做口碑，上市指日可待。

服務：店家大哥在我還沒有到平遙就提前加我微信，問我到達時間。還開小摩托來載我。我跟他說我感冒，他也很無奈熱心的給我發自己的感冒藥，在外地一個人，我突然覺得很溫暖，真的非常感謝大哥。我買又見平遙的票也幫我購買，到店還很認真仔細的給我畫地圖，告訴去哪好吃好逛。我感冒還提醒我多喝熱水，這服務真的要十星好評。感謝大哥。

衛生：很乾凈舒服
環境：很大，這床的設計很特別，北方的炕，南方人感覺很新奇。紅絲帶的裝飾很熱鬧，很喜慶，感覺洞房花燭夜似的，哈哈哈。
希望下次有機會帶上小孩轉轉。

新酒店，房間衞生還可以，我定的高級雙床，兩張床可以並在一起就是兩米七大床，完全不擔心孩子掉床，提出表揚的是餐廳刷卡的男服務員，服務熱情主動，門口保安也服務好，前台就中規中矩，比如我在前台的時候孩子去接水和拿餅乾吃，並沒有人去幫忙，而別的希爾頓歡朋看見孩子動手都會去幫忙，大廳辦入住好幾衹蒼蠅亂飛體驗感很不好，餐廳飯一般，沒有其他城市希爾頓豐富，一個炒菜吃完了也沒有及時補充，當然，這的價格也不算貴，餛飩齁鹹，自駕方便，離平遙古城近，而平遙古城也覺得也就那樣，南門燈光秀不開了，南門也不開，得繞西門過去。酒店門口有去古城電瓶車，十塊錢一位。

酒店有接送火車服務，一下火車就接到我們了，遊玩的時候還將我們送到古城門口。到平遙的第一天晚上在古城玩得太晚了，借的充電寶沒有地方還，酒店的美女司機幫我們在城裡找能還充電寶的地方（千萬別再用某獸充電寶啦），特別有耐心。👍👍這樣的貼心服務很讓我們感動❤️❤️離店的時候還送了一瓶醋作為小禮物。這個酒店實在太好了。我兒子第一時間發給了同學稱讚。

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed at thos lovely hotel. Lovingly restored by the current owner Mr Wang. He is the 6th generation owner of the property.
Until 10 years ago it was a derelict and dilapidated building. He poured money, time, blood, sweat and tears to restore it
And it does feel and look like a traditional house.
You feel you are going back in time.
Firstly the customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Its so good, i would recommend staying with mr Wang at whatever hotel he runs.
He picked us at the Lower East Gate, and brought us to the hotel, then took nearly half an hour to explain in great detail where we need to visit, whether the sights be in the city or outside the city.
Some of his suggestions, not on the tour books were very good . For example he suggested 3 restaurants, and we avoided them thinking he was getting a kickback.on our 4th and last day we tried restaurant no 2 of his. And it was good , the food and service were good. The prices were average with other restaurants and we got a 10% discount being the hotel's guests. And remember we had eaten 10 meals by the time we came to his suggestions.
Another suggestion of Mr Wang was Ma family home - also a very good tip from him.
Everytime we had a request or question he always responded with enthusiasm.
On our last day we checked out at 4am and he still took us to the pick up point at that ungodly hour.
Yep Mr and Mrs Wang's customer service is just first class.
The room was large, queen deluxe double, and the furnishings were traditional chinese furniture made of Rosewood. Very Expensive furniture for a hotel room. Shower worked well and was hot. However be aware its chinese style wet floor system ie there is no shower curtain between the shower and a small part of the bathroom does get wet if youare not careful. MR Wang said it will be one his improvement on his priority list. Hopefully by the time you booked the problem will have been resolved
The hotel is very close to the main streets. About 5 min walk.
The city of pingyao is worth visiting, it is one of the very walled cities left in China, with its old buildings intact and people still living it. All the city walls are also intact. Magnificent at night.

AArt13Great place in Pingyao. It is reasonably priced, a bit out of the very center (meaning also out of tourists crowds that can be quite noisy in the evenings and mornings), but still close, has same old-style design as the more popular and well-established places that cater to foreigners, but priced twice as much. Pick-up and drop off service is provided - just contact the hotel in advance via phone using the reception of tour previous hotel - no one speaks English - it will solve your communication issue if you do not speak Chinese. At the place itself everyone is very eager to help - use your phone app to translate. Onwer helped me to buy tickets to Pingyao attractions and Terracota Army as I was heading to Xian next (available only through WeChat Pay that is in turn is not availablefor foreign tourists as of April 2023). If you go to Shuanglin temple, be sure to ask to buy tickets through WeChat for you as well. I was able to buy physical one by pure compassion of local guard who asked the staff to open ticket office just for me (Probably was the only foreigner in Pingyao at a time). Please also note that as of April 2023, the reconstruction works in the historical city parts are continuing, so, large chunks of the city within the walls are not looking as great as it could have been. The very center of the city is mostly untouched though and you can still come and explore. If going in spring, be prepared for the temperature swings. I got a temperature drop from 28C to 3C within 2 days by the moment I got to Pingyao. It was even snowing at night.

PPengguna Tetamu房間很乾凈，衛生條件也很不錯，我們是三個人，住一間大炕房，床很大，完全睡的下。客棧內飾很有平遙古鎮的氛圍，院落雖小，但精緻。有兩進院落，我們住的是第二進，比較安靜，門口還有小亭子和鞦韆，可以在夏天的傍晚與家人朋友在那裡喝茶聊天，曬月光，嘿嘿嘿，這是一種不錯的體驗。
我本人是第一次住這種民宿類客棧，沒有什麼去對比的，但這次的住宿體驗讓我對民宿類的住處有了信心，以後會繼續嘗試的
老闆人很熱情，每位住客退房的時候還會送一小瓶醋，回來嘗了嘗，味道不錯。我們退房的時候把一個保溫壺落在了酒店，老闆給我打電話確認，還想直接給我送到門口，這點印象十分深刻。

It's 15mins away from the high speed railway. They pick up and drop out off outside the city.
With the covid regulations in place, the hotel supported me through the process and helped me gain entry into the city. I was then collected and driven to the hotel.
Check-in was smooth and the lady helped me to book tickets for the Pingyao theatre show at the same time.
I received a free upgrade from a double room to a suite.
All in all, a fantastic holiday, and a great experience.

The manager of the hotel is very helpful. He provides us tips to organise our tour at Ping Yao Gu Cheng. He helps us book cars to nearby tourist attractions. He also helps us reserve tickets for the show ”Ping Yao Again” .

PPengguna Tetamu位置很好，就在縣衙旁邊。最近平遙人比較多，訂房挺緊張。定的比晚，差一點定不上房間。
預訂房間後前台就提前聯繫發了位置，從城外接到酒店。前台挺熱情，全程感覺都挺熱心，免費給升級到了二樓的套房，整個體驗又更好了。定的是無早的房間沒有體驗早餐，但是晚餐餐廳零點菜品做的不錯，口味跟古城內其他餐館不一樣。
硬件設施很豪華，酒店整體很新很乾凈，二樓的魚池有錦鯉游來游去，一樓的話看上去就像魚在頭上面遊挺有趣的設計。
房間裏面積大，床也很大，有膠囊咖啡機，放了很多瓶百歲山，冰箱還有免費的飲料，衞生間有個大浴缸有花瓣，泡了個熱水澡。
晚上在二樓的露台坐了坐喝了點啤酒挺安逸的，很放鬆，區別與其他的客棧，挺好的。
二樓的魚池一個養着錦鯉一個池子樣的小魚🐟 ，挺有意思的，前台辦入住的時候説是有棋牌室和ktv，時間緊張沒有用，院子古風古色，房間內就是五星級的客房，讓我這種住不了民宿土炕的人很喜歡。
在平遙待了一天，古城內逛了逛主要的景點，前台也是給聯繫導遊，幫了很多忙，離開的時候加了經理的微信，下次來平遙還住這裏！

PPengguna Tanpa Nama來的時候簡單做了攻略，但也還是有不到之處，來了老闆熱情給介紹了很多好玩兒的地方，老闆家賣的酒和醋要比街上特產店便宜一半還多，出去逛了一圈還是選擇了在客棧買，良心商家！服務很好衞生乾淨！定的兩人間來了有續住的客人沒有退房，老闆還給免費升級了三人間
